It seems I’m having to change my mind more often these days… I recently hit play on Dr. Fauci’s COVID-19 segment on PBS where he says the New York Response was the correct one. Looking at the current stats that appears to be true! After reviewing my previous critique of Governor Cuomo and the state’s reaction to the global pandemic I feel I have to retract my strongly voiced criticism. It looks like the Governor’s approach of Early, Often and Up Front has left him the darling of the Democrats.
Gov. Cuomo’s strategy was two-fold. First, He demanded the filthy, disease-riddled, urine-soaked New York Subway system remain open specifically because those who would be in First and Direct contact with those elderly individuals possessing pre-existing conditions could get to work unobstructed. Second, by Forcing New York Nursing Homes to admit COVID-19 Positive elderly into their facilities. By doing both, the Governor was able to literally decimate the most vulnerable and likely to die from the virus… This plan resulted in well over 30,000 lives lost almost immediately. Early, Often and Up Front. Once the most likely to contract and pass away from the disease had done so, the Subway was sanitized (for the first time in 100 years) and the order forcing nursing homes to admit infected elderly into their midst was rescinded. But there is the genius. The highest risk population most likely to contract and subsequently pass away from the disease had been dramatically reduced leaving far fewer remaining to perish from it today. Now the numbers look promising… so much so that the Governor is receiving praise from Dr. Fauci. (Is Fauci a German name? I’ll have to look into that.) If one must judge from current lead stories emanating out of New York and landing on headlines across the country you can only end up where I am now. New York got it Right on the Corona Virus thanks to the leadership of Andrew Cuomo.
The Wu-Tang Flu has parted the clouds which have long darkened our skies and shined the bright light of Truth upon us! Hallelujah! Here’s what we know:
Don’t use Public Transportation. Don’t use Public Education. Don’t use Public Restrooms. Don’t use Public Streets. Don’t use Public Facilities of Any Kind… and Certainly Don’t Count on them to work as Promised.
Why? Because you’ll DIE.
And, if in the off chance you don’t die, you’ll kill Granny just by visiting her… you selfish, murdering, toilet paper hoarding A-Hole!
The lesson here is, buy your own car, own your own home, cook your own food, don’t pick your nose, poop in your own bathroom, home-school your kids or use private schools with small class sizes, take ownership of the streets and roads around you as well as your communities like… we… used… to. Live at your own risk.
Of course, the “Never Let a Good Crisis Go To Waste” crowd is screaming for MORE GOVERNMENT! But I ask you, how is that Universal Health Care working for the Italians, Germans, French, Indians, Iranians, Chinese, etc. etc? Do the Mass Grave/Burn Pits come ‘free of charge’ because of their ‘amazing’ health schemes? Yes, yes they do. Cool! We definitely need some of that…
In the end here’s what the takeaway is, we might as well have been attacked. Look at this like WWIII. This virus appears to have been crafted intentionally if not released intentionally.
We as a nation are more vulnerable now than ever in history exactly because we have abdicated our personal responsibility to nameless, faceless, bureaucrats who happily accept that power over us. We have chosen via the people we have elected to live at everyone else’s risk. You all know the old adage, “When Everyone Owns It, Nobody Owns It.” Look around… it’s true. This very horrible, bad, terrible idea is being demonstrated for all the world in real-time.
Now there is no time.
So the Socialism that has permeated modern America should now be dead for all time.
Or, will we collectively beg for more of what got us here?

Scientists distill vodka from Chernobyl’s radioactive exclusion zone and say it seems safe to drink

Scientists have distilled vodka from ingredients found in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, creating the first consumer product out of the area since the nuclear disaster over 30 years ago. Called Atomik, the artisan vodka is actually an experiment from researchers looking into how much radioactivity would transfer over to crops grown in the zone, according to the Chernobyl Spirit Company, the team that created it.
Chernobyl Spirit Company made the liquor out of rye grain they planted in the exclusion zone and water from an aquifer in Chernobyl. After distilling it and conducting tests, James Smith, a University of Portsmouth environmental scientist and part of the group, told CBS News partner BBC they concluded that their product is “no more radioactive than any other vodka.”
Atomik vodka was created as an experiment for scientists to analyze how much radioactivity transfers from crops grown in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Chernobyl Spirit Company
“Any chemist will tell you, when you distill something, impurities stay in the waste product,” Smith said. They sent the Chernobyl vodka to Southhampton University in the U.K. to undergo testing for possible radioactivity.
“They couldn’t find anything — everything was below their limit of detection,” he said.
The only problem with the vodka is that so far there’s only one bottle of it, according to the BBC. The team said in a blog post they plan on making more bottles of Atomik, with the hope of making a profit to help local communities that surround the abandoned zone.
The recent HBO series “Chernobyl” renewed interest in the disaster and the site where it transpired. Fears of radiation have kept many away from the exclusion zone, which was evacuated in the aftermath of the 1986 nuclear accident, but thousands of tourists now travel to the site every year. So many, in fact, that Ukraine’s president announced plans to make the site and surrounding areas more tourist friendly. The plans include new waterways and checkpoints in the area, enhanced cellphone reception and new walking trails. Filming restrictions will also be lifted.
Back in April 1986, when the region was part of the Soviet Union, a reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded, resulting in at least 32 deaths in the immediate aftermath. After initially downplaying the risk, the communist regime soon forced thousands of people to evacuate, turning the nearby city of Pripyat into a ghost town. Hundreds of square miles surrounding the reactor remain off limits.

Apparently, celebrities are getting facials made from cloned baby foreskin cells

“Sandy (Bullock) and I saw this facialist in New York, Georgia Louise, and she gives what we call the ‘penis facial,'” she said in an interview with Vogue Australia when asked the most outlandish beauty treatment she’d ever received.

Blanchett herself wasn’t quite clear on why it was nicknamed the penis facial — maybe the smell?

Louise, who also reportedly counts Emma Stone, Katy Perry, Alexander Wang and Karly Kloss among her clients (no word on whether any of them have gotten the penis facial, though) was happy to clarify things in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. The facial is derived from cells that are clones of baby foreskin cells.
“The foreskin is collected during circumcision and the stem cells are then harvested and extracted through a centrifuge,” she told THR. “I am always very mindful to explain radical serums and potions that I carry in my back bar, so I always explain that EGF is derived from newborn baby foreskin, but cells were taken and from that, new cells are cloned from a laboratory.”

There is no, nor will there be, any “fix” to the complete and total destruction of the Health Insurance Industry we are watching before our eyes. The only solution to what is an ill-advised attempt of Government to wrest control over 1/6th of the Economy while once again removing all Free-Market Competition, Voluntary Exchange and your Right to Choose is a complete Repeal of this Disastrous Law.
Anything else is simply an effort to preserve the Big Government, aka Socialist, gains achieved during the first two years of Democrat Control over The United States.
Anything else is just buying time while you “Get Used” to Government telling you what you must do when it comes to purchasing Health Insurance. Then what you eat, and drive, and activities you pass time doing etc. Because it all has to do with your Health. The only “fix” Liberals want when it comes to Health Care is enough time for you to get your mind right and accept that Government is the Answer.

Social Security was supposed to be a temporary Insurance Safety Net. Temporary… But given enough time you folks began counting on it and decided it should be permanent. So permanent in fact that the politicians took your cue and spent all the money collected for it on other things because they knew you would never let that stream of income to Government go away. But they didn’t spend it on important things, things we could have done without. They wasted it. They allowed their friends to have it. They squandered it. Because who needs discipline when the money just keeps rolling in? And You gave them permission. You are Still giving them permission.

When Democrats stand up and say “Republicans have never liked this law and just want to get rid of it!”, you should stand up and say “You’re Right!” “We Warned You!” “In Fact, We Warned You with Plenty of Time not to let this Happen in the First Place!” “Are You Listening?”
All this was bad from the beginning and it needs to be done away with, not preserved with some “fix” created to placate you until you “see the light” and concede your Freedoms to those in Washington.
It is no mystery that I’m not a fan of about 80% of the Republican Party. But it is a Party that must move to Repeal this hideous legislation. It is a Party that needs to step around the likes of John McCain, Chris Christy and Lindsey Graham to save this country from the mistakes of Democratic Socialists world over. If there has ever been a rallying point, or issue, of our time it is this. We were not there to fight against what we now know to be huge wastes of money and drags on productivity of the past. But we are here now.
The push to Socialize Medicine must be stopped.

There are Diseases in The World which Progressives believe have been left unaddressed by the Major World Powers.
The thinking goes that we, Lazy-Stupid-Spoiled Western Masses, simply don’t care if it doesn’t effect us. You can find evidence of this mindset within the fight against AIDS as well as other life threatening diseases…. Like Ebola.
And certain others such as the Enterovirus.
So how might a World Power (The United States) be motivated to address those sicknesses that have been Intentionally Ignored?

The contingency that subscribes to the idea we are ‘all citizens of the world’ is not beyond bringing sickness to our shores if it means we will devote our resources to fighting the illness’ we previously ignored. VA secretary: Disney doesn’t measure wait times, so why should VA?

Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald on Monday compared the length of time veterans wait to receive health care at the VA to the length of time people wait for rides at Disneyland, and said his agency shouldn’t use wait times as a measure of success because Disney doesn’t either.
“When you got to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what’s important? What’s important is, what’s your satisfaction with the experience?” McDonald said Monday during a Christian Science Monitor breakfast with reporters. “And what I would like to move to, eventually, is that kind of measure.”
McDonald’s comments angered House Speaker Paul Ryan, who tweeted out Monday afternoon, “This is not make-believe, Mr. Secretary. Veterans have died waiting in those lines.”

McDonald faced questions at the breakfast about the VA’s lack of transparency surrounding how long veterans must wait to receive care at VA facilities around the country. The agency has weathered controversy over the past several years due to its struggle to provide timely care for many patients.
The VA secretary said most veterans report being satisfied with their care and argued that the average wait time for a veteran seeking VA treatment is only a matter of days.
He said he did not believe a measure called the “create date,” which gauges a veteran’s wait time by counting from the day the veteran first requests care, was a “valid measure” of a veteran’s VA experience.
The Government Accountability Office released a report in April exploring the metric used to count a veterans’ wait time, called the “preferred date.” The measure does not count from the time a veteran first calls to make an appointment.
