The Default State of economics…

Many years and countless hours of studying Socialist countries has presented me with two absolute and demonstrable facts.
First, Socialism never works no matter how much your local Socialist wants or wishes it too.  Or for that matter, tells themselves it does.
Second, Free Market Capitalism is the default state of economics.

Without fail, once established and entrenched, a socialized economy gives birth to a separate and “unequal” system of trade.

A system of trade that is not controlled by the state. It has many names such a black, grey, underground and illegal… but those in charge never call it “free” which is exactly what it is.  (In Russia there was a simple rule everyone lived by… if you see a line get in it.  They knew that whatever was at the other end, whether they wanted it or not, could be traded for something they did want.)

The Socialists have attempted every imaginable idea to stop Capitalism in its tracks but  have succeeded only in slowing it down and creating distortions which they then blame on the very free market they distorted.

They stare dumbfounded at a system of trade that does not require their genius, planning or input, to be successful.

So, Throughout history the Free Market has ruled unmatched in it’s success and durability as the premier economic system.
(An aside: I’ve encountered a school of liberalism (a poorly educated one) that has labeled Free Market trade as “Smithian Capitalism”. I would remind these Elitist Know Nothings that Smith was simply an observer and recorded what had been evident for millennia. Just because he was the first to organize it on paper does not make him the architect of voluntary trade.)
Free trade has flourished under monarchies and Marxism alike.

It cannot be stopped… but that seems to be one of the tenets of our present day, home-grown Socialists. There is an ongoing effort to slow Capitalism down with policy issues like global warming which then lead to ideas like cap-and-trade etc. Ironically it is the resistance from the rest of the socialized world which stands in the way of these ill-founded ideas… the Communist Chinese understand the value of free market trade which is why Hong Kong has been left alone.  But they also recognize the inability to control a population enjoying a Free-Market, which is why they have not officially adopted the economic system for China proper.
But the point is, when the superiority of Free Market Capitalism is recognized even by those who wish to see it go away, you have to ask yourself why are we still fighting with these same types of people at home?
I have and will continue to offer it is about Power and Control… it is about a mindset that see themselves so superior to you that the concept of not making your decisions for you is unthinkable. In their minds, It is about keeping you from always making the wrong choice because you’re too stupid to know better.
We finally have a single country, in the United States of America, founded on the beneficial evidence of  individual rights, voluntary trade and property rights.  And the Left can’t leave it alone.

I’m tired of placating these people and their oppressive ideas coated with a candy glaze of “fairness”.  Simply being born in a country doesn’t make it “yours”. If we are not racists then we should surely not be “Geographists” either. We should organize ourselves according to ideas on  Individual Freedom and Liberty.  Those who do not believe in how this country was founded need only find a country where their ideas fit in.

Socialists already own most of the planet… how is that working out for them?  Surely the EU could use the brilliance of our modern day Left to help them put their Socialist Utopia back in order.

Spotting an Elitist. -The EU edition.

About half way through my life I realized I had spent most of it trying to figure out who to believe.  In fact, I still spend an inordinate amount of time on this.  I have never required someone to agree with me to find them believable, trustworthy and interesting.  Actually, I find relief in surrounding myself with people who challenge my thinking.  If they are willing to do that, then they are willing to tell me the truth.

But I have come to some red flags, so to speak, which have saved me from a number of those who I call Elitists.  These are the people who most often don’t tell you the truth because they don’t know what it is.  However, they know whats best for you.  And you can’t trust them because they will do whatever they think they have to for your own good.  “The best of intentions” crowd.  They should all have tattoo’s on their foreheads reading “You need us.”

I don’t subscribe to the idea that there are a ton of truly sinister people out there purposefully lying directly to your face… why risk that when they can get the intellectually lazy Elitists to do it for them?  The genuine Leftists search out those people fitting certain criteria and then fill their heads with crap which they promptly go and spew on you with righteous entitlement.  We all know these people… they are the ones who are full of opinions they can’t defend and most importantly don’t think they should have to.  When asked, they resort to a myriad of rhetorical devices to make you feel ignorant, mean-spirited or both.

After decades of in-depth clinical research I have found these individuals can be grouped roughly as follows:

The genius by virtue of Geography. When I grew up/lived in/traveled to (fill in the blank) it makes me smarter than you.  – We all know this guy.  (By the way, I type in gender neutral.)  Simply due to the fact that he was born, lived or traveled through a specific place he is the most informed person on every issue regardless of topic.  The coastal areas of the U.S. supply us with a large number of these types.

The genius by virtue of Profession. – You can’t possibly teach me anything.  Many of us know these guys as well…  often they are professional in their field.  Stock Brokers, Doctors, Lawyers, Scientists, Cowboys whatever.  Since they have genuinely mastered a very specific area of complexity, they are geniuses in all things.  Often these types will view you as ridiculously uninformed while they themselves establish barricades to challenging information.  They interpret your respect of their accomplishments in their area of expertise as validation of their genius in all things.  I must disclose that a great many of my best friends are professionals but they do not suffer from this elitist mentality else they would not be my friends.  So don’t take offense you guys… you know who you are.

The genius by virtue of Caring. – There is nothing for me to learn that my heart doesn’t tell me and you are mean… and just dumb you dummy dumb-dumb…  These are the people we typically see at demonstrations of various types holding the peace signs… with flowers… and rainbows.  We can usually find nine or ten of these people occupying a park we don’t use or walking down a road with a sign which makes no sense.  You know them.  They are out there saving people from themselves or saving those who have not asked to be saved.  They chant slogans in the hopes of being acknowledged.  Simply put, they care more about everything than you do so they do not need to educate themselves on issues, particularly the ones they are currently championing.  The only knowledge they need is the deep pain they feel in their hearts over everything humans do.  This “feeling” is how they know that they are doing something meaningful… and you are stupid and mean.  And, because you work, bathe and cut your hair it’s clear you don’t care.

The genius by virtue of Inheritance. – I have money therefore I am.  I actually find these types entertaining and will engage them every once in a while.  These are the guys that inherited a ton of money and have no idea how it was made.  Sure, they were around when their parents created the wealth (unless of course their parents fit into this definition as well) but were not involved in the business even though they FEEL like they were.  As an aside, if their parents fit into this category it is astonishing to me these guys have anything left over as it usually gets spent before the kids see any of it.  Anyway, these are the fun drunks.  They buy all the drinks and agree with any idea ever put in front of them… like “it would be a good idea to open up a sequin mine… or become professional cat waxers”.  All they have had to do is be semi-tolerable and act like they’re brilliant… the money is already there whenever they want it, they just need “friends”.

The genius by virtue of being Alive. – I’m fabulous and you’re stupid for not agreeing with me.  These folks are everywhere!  They are prolific!  There is no required age, or income, or for that matter intelligence.  They recognize their own brilliance because they are ALIVE!  They have the latest cell phone, but they can’t tell you how it’s made.  They saw the latest movies but cannot tell you who is running for President and why.  They have the latest laptop but have no idea what makes it run… hell, they don’t need too!  They’re cool just because!  They can give you a 20 minute dissertation on Kim Kardashian’s rear end and its societal significance but can’t tell you how a policeman gets paid.  They have never read a book but update their Facebook page five times a day.  They consider the ability to download music a “skill”.  They think texting while driving should be outlawed… for other people.  (Same with guns, and “mean” dogs, and food that makes you fat, etc.)

So… Why do we need to identify these folks?

Because they VOTE, which directly effects us… and we run the risk of them having influence over others who vote as well.  It’s our job as individuals to recognize and clean up the intellectual mess they leave behind.

It also goes a long way in QUICKLY determining who you can trust.

Calm Down

With the Inauguration of Donald Trump you have set the bar very high.

You have declared Trump a:

1. Racist
2. Homophobe
3. Misogynist
4. Fascist
5. Tyrant

It’s similar to President Barack Obama being awarded a Nobel Peace Prize based on what he Might Do. (As an aside; He didn’t Do.)

Your Media now has their job cut out for them. They will have to position Trump’s tenure to fit all of your above expectations and accusations.  But you can relax… your demands will most certainly be met.

So what happens if he turns out Not to be the above?

Don’t worry, there is always someone, somewhere, who will point to Trump as the Destroyer of Worlds. Your Press will find renewed energy to breathe life into their long deceased role as ‘government watchdog’… Trump will not suffer, as his predecessor did, from a lack of resistance.

But, you ask, what if he’s actually good, possibly… great?

Calm down… you can rest assured that any successes will be met with silence.

Maybe Limousines and Hookers ARE the Answer to Stopping Climate Change…

Given the American Taxpayer is having their hard-earned money removed from them by the Federal Government and sent to Socialist Dictators and Thugs around the World in order to Stop the impending Global Apocalypse of Man Made Global Warming…

I’m opening my mind to the possibility that making sure said Socialist Dictators and Thugs having an endless supply of Limousines, Hookers and Blow could be the answer.

I admit I have been doubtful.

I’m inviting all of you to show me the light and provide me with the science I’ve been shamefully denying exists.

You Must be Forced to Care.

(Originally posted 091914.  But now that we’ve graduated from Enterovirus to Measles… decided to revisit.)

There are Diseases in The World which Progressives believe have been left unaddressed by the Major World Powers.

The thinking goes that we, Lazy-Stupid-Spoiled Western Masses, simply don’t care if it doesn’t effect us. You can find evidence of this mindset within the fight against AIDS as well as other life threatening diseases…. Like Ebola.

And certain others such as the Enterovirus.

So how might a World Power (The United States) be motivated to address those sicknesses that have been Intentionally Ignored?

Import them.

Yes, that’s what I said…

Bring them here so We can experience them…  Some of us Die from them…  And All of us Fear them.

The contingency that subscribes to the idea we are ‘all citizens of the world’ is not beyond bringing sickness to our shores if it means we will devote our resources to fighting the illness’ we previously ignored.  In their mind, focusing on our own Problems First, while spending Energy on the Worlds Problems Second, is what makes America Terrible.  And they have anointed themselves ‘Enlightened’ Apostles of all that is Good and Just.  The Ends Justify the Means…

This leaves only one question.

How do you bring them here?

Simple.

Allow hundreds of thousands of people into the country without medical screening… all at once.  (All at once of course can mean over a period of a year or so when it comes to the grand scheme of things.)  Then disperse them at taxpayer expense throughout the country.

‘But this would never happen!’ you say…  I know you… and I know you’re saying it.

Well it’s happening, right now, as I tap this out.

The only real question left to the Left is ‘How do you make these new illnesses spread fast enough to completely refocus the National Energy onto defeating them?’

Make the people you let in be Children… unaccompanied and unsupervised… then send them all over the country and Force our public school system to absorb Them.

‘But Who, In Their Right Mind, would do this?!’ you ask…  I also know you’re asking that…

Good Question.  Who Would do this?

Because whoever it is, is doing it right now.

And those who enable the doing will tell you it’s only ‘fair’ that we devote our abilities to helping those We chose not to help in the past.  Whether we like the outcome of doing so or not.

It’s for the Greater Good of All the Citizens of the World.

For almost 10-years now there have been discussions regarding what qualifies One as Mentally Ill.

This debate took a new step forward this morning.

With Barack Obama’s Executive Gun Control, and the Physician Requirement to report patients who are ‘Mentally Ill’, comes an important question.

Are You Mentally Ill?

Well, let’s see…

Depression is a Mental Illness. Are you taking Any Anti-Depressants? Prozac? Zoloft? Paxil? Celexa? Lexapro? Effexor? Pristiq? Cymbalta? Remeron? Wellbutrin? Elavil? Pamelor?

You’re Mentally ill.

Anxiety is a Mental Illness. Are you taking Any Anti-Anxiety Medication? Xanax? Ativan? Klonopin? BuSpar?

You’re Mentally ill.

Mood Instability is a Mental Illness. Are you taking Any Mood Stabilizing Medication? There are many such ‘Stabilizers’… let’s just say,

Do You have PTSD? Mild or otherwise?

You’re Mentally ill.

ADD or ADHD?

Eating Disorder? Yes… too much or too little.

The Objective of the Left is to rid the Population of the ability to resist their Horrific Collectivist Ideas.

They are fully aware that The United States was founded on Individual Rights and paramount to those Rights is Free Speech and the Ability to Resist Tyrannical Government should it arise.

Socialists recognize that the Public has never, historically, enjoyed their institutionalized nepotism and Elitist wielding of Power over the ‘Stupid Masses’. And because of that, removing their primary source of self-defense remains a priority.

But they need you to BEG Them to enforce the removal of this defense… in the name of safety.

The push to Make EVERYONE Crazy has been going on for decades. From Mommies Little Helper to today’s myriad of
doses to make the World a better place.

And what if Doctors don’t report you?

The Lawyers are ready to place Liability Suits as fast as they can get their paralegals tapping away at their keyboards.

In the End, This is just one of the symptoms of Obamacare we all warned you about. It’s about control. It’s about you being kept. It’s about removing your ability to resist the Poison that is Leftist Progressive Socialism.

They have the rest of the World and they’ve screwed that up.

They’ve taken control of Cities and States within our Borders and they’ve screwed Them up.

Now they are Aiming for the entire Great Experiment in Self Rule….

Crony Balony

Stop insulting us!  Just because you’re afraid to call something what it is does not make it something else.  Words mean things here and Crony Capitalism means nothing as it is an oxymoronic attempt to dumb down a serious problem.  Just say Fascism.

Fascism was a term coined for the Italians during the 1930’s.  It is simply a slight, very slight, variation on Socialism/Communism (these two being kissing cousins) that earned its own name.  Fascists were willing to “allow” private ownership of property and business AS LONG AS THE OWNERS WERE MEMBERS OF THE PARTY AND FOLLOWED PARTY DICTATES which meant Mussolini was in control… as was Hitler in Germany… the idea spread throughout the middle east as well.  Fascism was just easier than jumping right to the Socialist model and seizing the factories etc.  A stepping stone to full control over all wealth.

Leftist love, because it preserves the “good” image of Socialism, to confuse this issue.  They will point out the hatred between Germany and Russia during World War Two as evidence that these were totally unique ideas and opposed to each other in every way.  It will never be said specifically how, as that might lead to further exploration… it is implied and left as fact in the students minds.  While there are reasons for this hatred they are largely monarchical in nature.  (This is for another time.)  These same people, often college professors who lean left, will also position the National Democratic Socialist Party (NAZI’s) as being “far right”… this can only be true if your paradigm consists solely of Statist political theory which theirs typically does.   Anyway, there is nothing “Far Right” about Fascism in American terms.  (If anything our “Far Right” is closer to Theocratic theory than Fascism.)  But the mission is to confuse our kids and have them believe anyone subscribing to fiscal responsibility and not redistribution are “NAZI’s”.  Stupid, but historically effective.

Enough history, back to the point… We do have a problem here and it’s not the separation of church and state.  At least not right now.  It is Fascism.  The separation of business and state.  There, I said it.  It is the control of the private sector through the Tax code, EPA and OSHA Regulations etc.  It is the reciprocal control of industry by large corporations erecting barriers to entry for competition by funding the campaigns, college educations, friends businesses etc. of elected officials. If you have enough money you can suggest (never force… only government can force) those officials to champion laws that prevent competitors from entering the market by making it too expensive.  This is not Capitalism!  It is Fascism!

It might not surprise you, but I don’t blame the businesses.  The businesses cannot force the politicians to do anything… this is where I let them off the hook.  Only the politicians can force the businesses to behave a certain way through the above mentioned methods.  Our system is beautiful in every way, but it requires the heavy burden of an electorate paying attention and a press being skeptical of all sides of the argument.  In the end, only the voters can apply force to the politicians.  What I mean is we should apply force by voting them out of office when they do not behave to our liking.  (Which we do not. As we don’t even spend the time to understand what political behavior best protects our individual freedom.)  We should force them to behave by insisting they be subject to the same laws as the rest of us.  (Which they are not. But, we do not care because “our guy” won. So what if he makes stock trades with insider information that would put you, and me, in jail.)

We have not been paying attention and have approached politics and economics as if they were separate issues.  (Which they are not.  Never have been.  The fact we think so is yet another victory for the Left.)  We have reduced our participation, in what is arguably our greatest responsibility, to something similar to rooting for our favorite football team.  Our great experiment is failing because of our neglect.  It’s pathetic and it’s our fault.  We have received what we have asked for.

Keep in mind, Fascism/Statism is always backed by those with only the best intentions, and a few with the worst.  We have all fallen for this for 100-years.

The accepted argument reads that “Greedy Capitalists will kill people in the pursuit of evil profits.”  And, “If it was not for the government stepping in, corporations would make products that kill innocent women and children.”  I offer that Socialists have won so many battles with this approach in the minds of our poorly educated population that it is the number one play in their playbook.  I would also offer that if one understands Capitalism it is not in the interest of corporations, or any business for that matter, to kill their consumers.  (I will enjoy the tobacco debate at a later time)  And finally, while we all can think of at least a couple of instances where a product has been dangerous… let us compare the sheer numbers of people killed by the private market versus those killed by the government “trying to do what is right for us because we’re too stupid to do it for ourselves”.   The road to hell is truly paved with good intentions and the Statists are busy keeping that infrastructure in good repair.

I am excited to see a more active participation in the last several years, but going from 5% of the population paying attention to 10% is not going to change our continued slide into Fascism and eventually Socialism, and the Statists know this.  Time is on their side and they know this too.  Look at it this way, Statism is a cute, purring,  furry little tiger cub and Free Market Capitalism is a cold black square drawn on plain white paper.  We need to hug, cuddle and feed the cold black square… because in time it will not grow up and eat us.
