It appears that the press has discovered a deeply sinister plan which was considered, not enacted, by the ever evil Trump Administration.  According to the Washington Post, Trump officials proposed releasing (illegal) immigrants into Sanctuary Cities to “retaliate” against the Administrations political foes.  Story Here…

This leads my ADD addled, caffeine Addicted, mind to a number of questions…

1.  Isn’t the above “accusation” exactly what those who created Sanctuary Cities wanted?  If not, why did those cities and the politicians who run them proudly declare themselves as such?
2.  Isn’t everything the Trump Administration does, thus far, in direct opposition to the Socialists who created the Sanctuary Cities in the first place thus making them ALWAYS political foes regardless of specific proposals considered?
3. Why is this a story?

I believe I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ll use the inebriation defense, several months ago I was in LA having a chat with a couple of friends about the ‘busing of migrants’ into California.  The couple were divided on the issue.  Mark (name changed to protect the innocent) viewed the outrage exhibited by Jerry (name changed because I hate a Jerry and he totally sucks… I don’t hate this guy, but Jerry still sucks.) as the height of hypocracy.  Jerry was incensed that New Mexico was supposedly busing in (illegal) immigrants to California(!).  How, he asked, could New Mexico have the gall to send a bunch of people here (California) when our system to care for them is already streched to it’s absolute limit?!

This led me to a simple question.  I started with; Jerry, I understand your being angry about that and I agree with you.  However, allow me to ask you why then is it okay for Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua to send us theirs?

A long very pregnant silence ensued.

I waited.

Jerry’s gears ground in different directions and I swear I saw a light wisp of smoke emanate from his left ear.

Mark smiled.

I continued to wait.

After several seconds of quietly walking around in circles, Jerry rallied what was remaining upstairs and proclaimed, red-faced, “That’s not the same thing!”

I let it go as the point had been made.  Mark continued to smile and Jerry continued to think, painfully.  In full disclosure, I also like both men and look forward to more exchanges in the future.

The point is, If you’re going to declare yourself a Sanctuary City then you cannot simultaneously be upset if your perceived political foe is volunteering to help you in your mission.  When you go into business you cannot get angry with those who send it to you, whether you like them or not.

This is a Foolish story produced by Foolish People at a Foolish Newspaper like the Washington Post.  (If you’re not sure what I’m saying, the link to dictionary.com is above the fold.  Use it.  Fool is spelled F-O-O-L.)

 

Editor’s note:  Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaruaga are in many ways better than New Mexico.  So to Jerry’s defense they are indeed different things.

You Must be Forced to Care.

(Originally posted 091914.  But now that we’ve graduated from Enterovirus to Measles… decided to revisit.)

There are Diseases in The World which Progressives believe have been left unaddressed by the Major World Powers.

The thinking goes that we, Lazy-Stupid-Spoiled Western Masses, simply don’t care if it doesn’t effect us. You can find evidence of this mindset within the fight against AIDS as well as other life threatening diseases…. Like Ebola.

And certain others such as the Enterovirus.

So how might a World Power (The United States) be motivated to address those sicknesses that have been Intentionally Ignored?

Import them.

Yes, that’s what I said…

Bring them here so We can experience them…  Some of us Die from them…  And All of us Fear them.

The contingency that subscribes to the idea we are ‘all citizens of the world’ is not beyond bringing sickness to our shores if it means we will devote our resources to fighting the illness’ we previously ignored.  In their mind, focusing on our own Problems First, while spending Energy on the Worlds Problems Second, is what makes America Terrible.  And they have anointed themselves ‘Enlightened’ Apostles of all that is Good and Just.  The Ends Justify the Means…

This leaves only one question.

How do you bring them here?

Simple.

Allow hundreds of thousands of people into the country without medical screening… all at once.  (All at once of course can mean over a period of a year or so when it comes to the grand scheme of things.)  Then disperse them at taxpayer expense throughout the country.

‘But this would never happen!’ you say…  I know you… and I know you’re saying it.

Well it’s happening, right now, as I tap this out.

The only real question left to the Left is ‘How do you make these new illnesses spread fast enough to completely refocus the National Energy onto defeating them?’

Make the people you let in be Children… unaccompanied and unsupervised… then send them all over the country and Force our public school system to absorb Them.

‘But Who, In Their Right Mind, would do this?!’ you ask…  I also know you’re asking that…

Good Question.  Who Would do this?

Because whoever it is, is doing it right now.

And those who enable the doing will tell you it’s only ‘fair’ that we devote our abilities to helping those We chose not to help in the past.  Whether we like the outcome of doing so or not.

It’s for the Greater Good of All the Citizens of the World.

This is the Run Around Screaming Hyperole being floated in an Effort to Save the Funding for the President’s illegal, unconstitutional and ill considered Amnesty (AKA – Save the Democrat Party) program being conducted by the Department of Homeland Security.

Oh… the answer is:

It has NEVER happened. There has never been an event where funding was temporarily held, cut, reduced etc. that government workers were not paid for their work.

Never.

Frankly we Need to permanently Shut Down at least 50% of the Federal Government. But those posts have done posted.

Get ready to be accused of an intense hatred of those from other countries.  It’s coming to a bunch of stories near you.

Why?

Because You’re a Horrible Xenophobe.

Sure your concern about open borders and sophomoric screening of those few who come here legally is based entirely on your health.

Sure you could be so self-centered as to think Rapidly Fatal Diseases flooding into our Country and infecting your children is not a good idea.

And sure you might believe that the access of those who could be infected with such Diseases should be Extremely Limited, if not Halted, until we can get a handle on how we’re going to address these demonstrably Life Destroying Microbes.

All Hogwash!

Truth is, You’re just a Bigot who Hates.  You’re simply using the Lives of Your Children, Family, Friends and Neighbors as an Excuse to behave the way you have Always wanted to.  And that way is to Discriminate against other people who are different.  It doesn’t matter that ‘different’ means infected with a highly contagious, and constantly mutating, form of virus that causes epidemic levels of death.  No… the truth is, you’re a Xenophobe, as well as a Homophobe (if you forgot) and most certainly a Racist.

I’m glad we could get that out-of-the-way.  We all realize Honesty is the best policy.  And we all also know your supposed Fear is only a disguise for your inner drive to be a POS.

So… when your child comes home from school and says a couple of her classmates were taken to the nurses office because they were throwing up blood all over the Mrs. Giacomo’s Class during first period home room… you should remember that it’s no big deal.  Even when it happens again… and again…  Or when little Joey says his best friend has a cough that sounds like the Sea Lion he saw on the Zoo field trip, and it wont stop, so Joey ate his friend’s well coughed on lunch because Ms. Podesta said not to worry, it’s OK.  Just let it go.

And… when you go to the voting booth in few weeks to re-elect your favorite Democrat or Select Republican, who cares more about everything just like you, you should feel good because it was Your Guy who refused to secure the borders as a Demonstration of Their Tolerance and Love of All People … and it was the same Group who currently considers asking individuals coming into the United States from Countries infected with these diseases “Do you have Ebola?” to be ‘highly effective screening measures’ insured to protect you.  Plus, lest you forget, Their Liberal Progressive brilliance Forced Obama Care upon all of us, so now your Insurance Company has had to raise their rates, as well as their deductibles, and or leave your state altogether.  Oh, and you have a new Doctor… who you don’t know… and you can’t get in to see.

Nothing supports sound sleep like knowing the people you support are the Smartest People in the Room… just like you.  And They’re telling you not to worry.

Therefore… You’re not worried.

Because… you recognize Any other behavior would just illustrate an innate bigotry.  This is especially true if you’re White.  Because White People are born that way.  White Devils.

Feel better now that you know the truth that you’re a Racist Xenophobic Hater?

Oh, and I hear Rum is particularly good at killing Ebola.  You just have to drink a lot of it.  Rubbing it all over your body could help too.

Well… at least that’s what I’m going with.

(As a Note:  I’m not sure what you call someone who discriminates against a person with Ebola… or Pertussis, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Hemorrhagic Fever, Listeria, Lice, An Ax, Who is Covered in Blood, Has a Chainsaw and a mask made of Human Skin, Is Pointing a Gun at You and yelling to everyone that can hear them that they want to kill you… or Zombies… But it would Probably still make you a Xenophobic Hater.  I suggest the Rum.)

On the Heels of an Immigration Bill

(A repost from the past 111012.  A Not so Golden Oldie worth a re-read.  Since major players are putting racist balkanization in front of beneficial ideology… Is it burning yet?)

This is Part II of Dan Miller’s essay regarding our current state of affairs.

I agree with much of this… But I would add a few things such as term limits for all government employees… worrying less about the politicians, making Public Service Unions unconstitutional, and creating a single or at least very limited platform that all individuals might find appealing.

I know that is easier said than done (Not really… it’s just that no one seems interested in doing it.), but many of the Issues we find ourselves fighting over should simply be left out.

These issues would be, but not limited to, Marriage, Abortion and Legalization of “drugs” which are all issues which the Federal Government should be SILENT and the States should be in the sole position to decide. (I use quotation marks because in today’s parlance “drugs” refers to those substances you don’t think other people should use. Much like the word “cult”.)

I’m afraid, however, that I share a little less of Dan’s optimism in regard to having anything happen without a catastrophe of some kind. As many of you know, having read my posts in the past, I was never a “Romney Guy” so much as I was hopeful that his election could give us the opportunity to slam on the brakes… well, that hope is gone.

As always I will continue to put time thinking about what options are realistic and if I find any promote them. Until that time I’m finding myself in the camp of “Let it Burn”.

In the end, It seems we are our own worst enemies when it comes to bailing out incredible horrible Socialist ideas at the last minute. So much so that much of the electorate believe with all their hearts (not their minds) that nothing bad will ever happen… sometimes the only way to learn anything is to make a mistake, often very big ones. As always, I reserve the right to change my mind.

Obama won and we lost. There are lessons WE must take away from this election. One lesson is that the Republican party is not what in many parts of the world is called the OPPOSITION. They are not the opposition. We are. The virtuous conservative and libertarian Americans are the opposition. We have no party that represents us. Yes, there are some small third parties; but, it would take years for a viable third party to be in a position to challenge the two-party system. We don’t have years! The second lesson we must take away from this election is that Obama won because the combined forces of the anti-Obama voters and the pro-Romney voters did not show up in sufficient numbers…
