Just Say No…

…To Socialism.

If you’ve been with me for longer than 10 minutes, then you already realize I’m what you would call an Anti-Socialist.

While I have vast and varied views, first and foremost I stand in opposition to all forms of Socialist thought. You can call it whatever you want; Socialism, Liberalism, Leftist, Progressive, Fascist, Communist, Democrat, No Labels, Crony Capitalist, RINO, John McCain… or whatever new names they come up with to keep you confused.

Why do I oppose Socialism?  Why do I oppose a political theory that promotes Elitists exercising force over all those they deem inferior?  Why do I oppose an Ideology that has resulted in the greatest destruction to the common good, and ultimately the loss of life, in the history of the world?

I am a Free-Market Capitalist.

But what apparently sets me apart is I know what that means, which is more than I can said for the majority of our elected officials… and certainly more than our electorate.

I will share with you, the people being demonized by the press are the people you must listen to carefully. (Actually listen to them… not whatever sound bite John Stewart or Bill Mahr decide to let you hear, followed by a studio audience of the above mentioned know nothings yucking it up and a laugh track from the fifties.)

The folks you will be told are Mean, Evil, Stupid and In the Way of your Happiness are the very individuals who, most likely, have the best interest of our amazing country at heart. And, they are the few deserving an honest, unedited, un-editorialized hearing of why they stand in opposition of more Socialism.

But let me get you started:

Socialism gets you Detroit.

Socialism gets you Mexico.

Socialism gets you Domestic Spying.

Socialism gets you incredibly horrible public schools.

Socialism gets you Unions who make promises to their members they know they can’t honor.

Socialism put’s your medical records out there for all to see.

Socialism gets you expensive, crappy health care.

Socialism gets you high taxes.

Socialism gets you high unemployment.

Socialism gets you Crony business deals.

Socialism gets a quadrupling of the money supply devaluing everything you’ve worked so hard to save.

Socialism spends your money with no consideration of reason or result, because it believes it owns the money… not you.

Socialism gets you National Debt so large you cannot possibly conceive it.  You literally can’t count that high… before you die of old age.

Socialism gets you racial hatred because without it, it dies.

Socialism gets you a bigger and bigger gap between the rich and poor, because it relies on that too.

Socialism puts self-anointed Elitist A-holes in power and keeps them there… forever.

Socialism is Force.

So the very least MY representatives can do IS NOT GET ALONG WITH SOCIALISTS.  AT ALL… EVER.

The very least MY representatives can do is say NO in the face of bigger government and more spending… or should I SAY WASTING MY MONEY.

The VERY LEAST my representatives can do IS STAND IN OPPOSITION to everything… every single thing… the Socialists want to do.

And, if they DO NOTHING ELSE… I will consider them to be doing a great job.

If they really want to impress me, then start taking apart 100 years of Socialist schemes which have not only stood in the way of this country being greater than it is, but has set it back on every level.  Doubt me?  Do you think the founding fathers would have asked the public to tolerate Domestic Spying after fighting a War in order to establish a new type of Government designed to protect the Individual, Their Freedom, Liberty and Property?  (There were plenty of “Terrorists” back then too.)

So I expect that 20% of the Republican Party who are about to be positioned as the worst people in the world… will do the right thing.

I expect them to be the Party of No!

NO!  NO!  NO!

It is the least they can do.  When I say “the least”, I mean the LEAST.

There is No Excuse for the situation we are in… and our open, unprotected borders have been by design. Whether it was to set the stage for the continued life of the Leftist Democrat Party of the Fascist Left of the Republican party catering to big business…

We have been talking about securing the borders since the beginning of the Bush Administration and we have done LESS THAN NOTHING. If anything, we have created a path of death and despair with the promise of free stuff and taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves from outside our country. It is as Sad as it is Sick that anyone supports such a Scheme foisted upon innocence.

But then there’s the not so innocent…

What’s left to add after those who came here illegally begin killing us?

Some offer they started a long time ago.

Wake Up. Secure the Borders. If that means a fence to at least slow them down then so be it.

Once we’re finished with that we can begin the conversation regarding easier access for those who wish to work here.

Considering the Ocean is littered with debris from hundreds of years… possibly longer, why does the sighting of it occupy the attention of the News Channels, Programs and Networks?

Is it Easier than tackling tougher Issues like:

The NSA’s Domestic Spying and Keith Alexander’s latest Interview where he States unequivocally that not a single person at the NSA has done Anything Wrong… Ever… Not Once… except for those who did, those one times…?

The IRS targeting Political Opponents of the President?

The BATFE sending Weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels in an effort to create a Case for more Domestic Gun Control?

The Skyrocketing Debt and the Fiscal Malfeasance it Represents?

The fact that Keynesian Economics has Not Lead to the Economic Recovery the Leftists in our Government Promised it Would?

The Destruction of the Greatest Health Care System in the World because Progressives want Control over the 6th of the Economy the didn’t have before?

The Utter Betrayal by our Elected Representatives to Look Out for the People by taking the time to actually Read Legislation before voting for it?

I could go on….

But these Mysteries don’t require cloudy satellite pictures of lightly colored blobs with which a Dedicated Journalist can Follow a “Breaking News” graphic.

So I’ll just stay drunk and stop asking questions.  Flying Monkeys did it anyway…

The President should be given a break here.

Mr. Obama was simply doing the work of the world. Someone has to speak for the rest of the Nations, and he was only doing his part to communicate what he knows the Global Community wants to say. In other words, he’s doing the heavy lifting… the job Global Citizens will not do…

This addresses something I noticed during Obama’s first State of the Union Speech.

We have a little game we play during State of the Union Speeches… you draw words, and if they are used you drink.  I like to keep my Drinking games simple, it helps once you’re about an hour into them.

The words I drew were “I, Me and My”

I believed I had won the lottery because Presidents avoid such words.  Typically, they understand they are simply the Representative chosen to head the Executive Branch of Government.  It is always “Our, We, Together” etc.  As it should be.

However, It was not a win…

In fact, It was a painful evening… and I’m a professional.

That episode aside, it illustrates a mentality.  It demonstrates a certain level of Narcissism, or Ego, that can lead an individual into mistakes such as the current Syria debacle.

The above Elitist approach to governing can result in avoidable loss of life such as the events surrounding Fast and Furious, Benghazi etc.

Such a view of one’s self can allow an individual to turn a blind eye to the destruction of the Privacy of Others, as in the case of the NSA Domestic Spying Programs, or direct government intimidation and oppression as represented by IRS Targeting, Militarization of Local Police, TSA and DHS tactics.

While the President is just one person, it starts at the top.  Are Leaders tend to surround themselves with people who view the world in the same way.  (A noted exception was Mr. Bush’s appointment of Colin Powell.  But, if you recall, Bush was criticized for not following the advice of Powell.  The media demonized a Leader who strayed from surrounding himself with those he would disagree with.  I’m not a Bush “fan”, it’s just an interesting observation.  Make of it what you will.)

Elitists surround themselves with sycophants and then Demonize those that challenge the way they see themselves.  This results in appointments like John Kerry, allies like John McCain and attitudes exhibited by Nansi Pelosi and Harry Reid.  It also explains the destructive rhetoric leveled at men like Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, TEA Party Conservatives and Libertarians.  (For those of you out there that disagree with me here, please give an honest moment of thought regarding what these individuals and groups stand for.  You can find it easily with your googler.  Go directly to their sites… read their words verbatim… don’t allow someone else to tell you what they said or what they think.  It has been my experience that Evil does not view itself as such and will speak freely.  It Evil is there you’ll find it for yourself, in their own words without the careful editing, comedic or otherwise, from the opposition.)

With a little reflection one can pick out those Presidents, Senators and Congressmen (Our Representatives) that view themselves in this way.

Once you’ve decided you’re smarter than everyone else… it’s easy to then to decide you speak for the world.

So in his mind, why would his credibility be on the line?

So the idea that they “cannot” look at your personal information has been illustrated as the profoundly stupid statement the rest of us knew it was when uttered by President Obama.

You cannot remove Human nature from reality.  This has been our point all along.  I do not expect, nor do I believe, Philosopher Kings to exist.

To think that your daughters sext messages are not being poured through and disseminated to fellow government employees is naïve at best.

To delude oneself into thinking the less than wholesome pictures you and your “friend” took of each other are safe and sound hidden in a file somewhere is foolish.

To try to convince yourself that the gift that keeps on giving you picked up from a one night stand is private information discussed only between you and your doctor is ridiculous.

First they took ownership of your production… now, with no privacy, they own your life.  Nothing is yours.

This cannot be any more serious.

Right after the TSA agent is finished feeling up your teenager, what else will he be able to find out?

And,

You better hope you don’t make a bureaucrat angry… like the guy at the DMV, a Local Cop with a chip on his shoulder or the wife of an IRS auditor…

Plus, make darn sure nobody working at, or with, the NSA decides to “Love” you.

So what happened to these people?  Were they fired?  Jailed?  A very stern letter written and placed quietly in their file?

Was the subject of the Unconstitutional Violation of Privacy notified?  Were they given the opportunity to Sue?  To send dead roses?  Anything?

Enough Denial.

The Socialists in both parties are all for this kind of police state.  Iron Felix must be looking up wishing he was born a hundred years later.

It’s time to wake up and be vocal… here… with your family… friends… in line at the grocery store… everywhere.

The Benghazi Lunch

Two days ago President Obama and Mrs. Bill Clinton met to have a private lunch.

The Media would like you to believe it is regarding her accension to the White House, but it seems clear to me that it is about the Fallout headed their way on Benghazi.
And, considering all communications are being monitored by No Such Agency, the only option for a frank, unedited, meeting is face to face on the White House grounds.

Let’s take a look at this…

The Administration has kept the additional victims of the Benghazi Terror attack sequestered for about as long as they are able.

Leaks are forming around the edges of their efforts.

They have also be unable to deflect, distract or refocus us from the question of why we left our men to die… when we had 8+ hours to send in help… which was available.

They have been unable to claim it was just a video which spurred an incredibly well organized effort to murder our Ambassador by a “rag tag group of men wandering around the streets at night”.

And they have been reduced to screeching at the top of their lungs “What difference at this point does it make?”

I suspect it is about to make a big difference….

Hillary has set her tired eyes on the Presidency.  While it makes her angry to be compared to Huma, she knows that will pass.  What will not pass is an institutionalized approach to foreign affairs which puts all of our people abroad in danger.  She knows a culture she subscribed to and directly promoted which resulted in the Death of an Ambassador and several brave men, in addition to many people injured is one which will haunt her… but she wants it both ways.  While not having it ascribed to her, she still thinks it’s the right way for the United States to conduct itself.

If I were currently enrolled in foreign service I would be scared sh*tless.  It’s one thing knowing you’re hanging it out there… but it’s very black indeed to know you’re hanging it out there and nobody cares.  That work takes a special type of person, which the vast majority of our folks are not, and no one should expect them to be.

So here we go.

Campaign Season is starting early this cycle due to an impotent President who is losing control of his party.

The only people standing in the way of the Republicans I support, are the Republicans I do not support.

Primaries, Primaries, Primaries…  Wheat from the Chaff.

Short Attention Span

I’ve already forgotten:

We’re bankrupt.
We’re printing money, and paying bills with it, because we don’t have any.
We’re playing with the unemployment numbers and the best we can do is call it “crappy” where it was once called “criminal”.
We’ve Socialized Medicine and it’s costing all of us more money than ever before… but Socialism always works, so no problem.
We’ve sent Assault Rifles to Mexican Drug Cartels and it’s OK.
We have a new “unspoken” policy of allowing our Diplomats overseas to be Murdered.
We have completely given up all Rights to Privacy and apparently condone the NSA spying on us.
We believe the IRS should be able to target Americans based on their political beliefs.
We agree that we need a Domestic Military, called DHS, designed to apply force within our borders.
We enjoy being groped at the airport by the individuals who could not qualify to be police officers.
We continue to believe the housing market collapse was caused by “greedy” banks.
We think there are still people starving in the United States while facing an Obesity Epidemic.
We’ve decided that what used to be called welfare is actually an earned benefit.
We think a consensus is an appropriate replacement for the scientific method.

We believe it when our politicians tell us they will do something.

What was I talking about?

The first step of Recovery is admitting you have a problem.

But you have to admit it AS a problem… when do we as a country decide it IS a problem?

But what strikes me from this article is the push to create greater penalties for those who fail to report certain behaviors exhibited by their government co-workers.  Behavior monitoring is not the job of your typical Government Bureaucrat… but it will be now.

So why is that a problem?

It has long been the practice of Communist Countries, like China, to employ watchers who watch the watchers… spy on spy so to speak.  It is needed there because Socialist forms of Government are built, and sustained, on the theory that oppression is needed and force is required.  It is not designed to be an environment where the individual feels secure, so that Ultimate Minority of the Individual must always be watched…  and the watcher must be watched, etc. etc.  Oppression is the only thing Communists do well.  And consistently.

It has also been the perceived practice of the United States that we do not need to do this because the benefits of being Free were self-evident and our security didn’t require multilayered paranoia built into the system.  This approach has been extremely successful for us by any measure.  At least in the sense of maintaining Individual Liberty.

All I can say is this must have recently changed.

The next step is political officers in your unit and block and precinct captains in your neighborhood.  Just so you know who to go to if you become “confused” about what you can do without “asking”.
