It appears that the press has discovered a deeply sinister plan which was considered, not enacted, by the ever evil Trump Administration.  According to the Washington Post, Trump officials proposed releasing (illegal) immigrants into Sanctuary Cities to “retaliate” against the Administrations political foes.  Story Here…

This leads my ADD addled, caffeine Addicted, mind to a number of questions…

1.  Isn’t the above “accusation” exactly what those who created Sanctuary Cities wanted?  If not, why did those cities and the politicians who run them proudly declare themselves as such?
2.  Isn’t everything the Trump Administration does, thus far, in direct opposition to the Socialists who created the Sanctuary Cities in the first place thus making them ALWAYS political foes regardless of specific proposals considered?
3. Why is this a story?

I believe I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ll use the inebriation defense, several months ago I was in LA having a chat with a couple of friends about the ‘busing of migrants’ into California.  The couple were divided on the issue.  Mark (name changed to protect the innocent) viewed the outrage exhibited by Jerry (name changed because I hate a Jerry and he totally sucks… I don’t hate this guy, but Jerry still sucks.) as the height of hypocracy.  Jerry was incensed that New Mexico was supposedly busing in (illegal) immigrants to California(!).  How, he asked, could New Mexico have the gall to send a bunch of people here (California) when our system to care for them is already streched to it’s absolute limit?!

This led me to a simple question.  I started with; Jerry, I understand your being angry about that and I agree with you.  However, allow me to ask you why then is it okay for Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua to send us theirs?

A long very pregnant silence ensued.

I waited.

Jerry’s gears ground in different directions and I swear I saw a light wisp of smoke emanate from his left ear.

Mark smiled.

I continued to wait.

After several seconds of quietly walking around in circles, Jerry rallied what was remaining upstairs and proclaimed, red-faced, “That’s not the same thing!”

I let it go as the point had been made.  Mark continued to smile and Jerry continued to think, painfully.  In full disclosure, I also like both men and look forward to more exchanges in the future.

The point is, If you’re going to declare yourself a Sanctuary City then you cannot simultaneously be upset if your perceived political foe is volunteering to help you in your mission.  When you go into business you cannot get angry with those who send it to you, whether you like them or not.

This is a Foolish story produced by Foolish People at a Foolish Newspaper like the Washington Post.  (If you’re not sure what I’m saying, the link to dictionary.com is above the fold.  Use it.  Fool is spelled F-O-O-L.)

 

Editor’s note:  Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaruaga are in many ways better than New Mexico.  So to Jerry’s defense they are indeed different things.

A Funny Thing about Brexit…

(Update… I forgot to add that the Murder of Socialist A-Holes if presented with failure initially would simply force repeated votes until they get their way.  It’s now been over two years since Britain voted to LEAVE the EU.)

Something strikes me as odd with less than a week to go for the Referendum across the pond.

The establishment of the European Union was considered a major step towards the fanciful and ever longed for Socialist Utopia. It was akin to strapping a horn atop a horses head.

What seems a bit strange is the declining interest residing in Britain to remain in the Union.

Don’t get me wrong… I think they should exit.

But the UK is Socialist. I mean they turn out some of the most insidious Socialist Elite A-Holes known to man from the Socialist Elite A-Hole Training Academy known as the London School of Economics. They Excel at creating horses with horns strapped to their heads.

That being said, it is my experience that Socialists view elections as Public Relations events.

Their approach is simple:

1. Win Outright
2. Cheat enough to Win (Overtly or Covertly, it doesn’t really matter.)
or
3. Postpone the election indefinitely unless you can assure number’s 1 or 2 above.

This has been a winning strategy since Lenin decided that the support of the Useful could be capitalized upon if and when it existed. If it didn’t exist… just don’t give anyone anything to point at, such as a failed referendum. (It’s also worth noting that elections were good to flush out those who disagree with you in order to make a list of those soon to be missing. But that’s a different post better reserved for the children at bedtime.)

Frankly, I’m surprised that this referendum has not been postponed/stopped/dismantled.
It is clearly not going the way the circling Murder of Socialist States want it to… and it will provide a gigantic billboard of failure for all of us who have waited 40-years knowing it would fail, to point at.

I guess there’s a few days left to figure out a way to cheat…

Need a Little Help Here… Are the Russians Coming?

While it’s true, I’ve been laying low watching the fire overhead, I am struck by this latest explosion of stupidity.

So, I’m going to untie my fingers.

First I will say, I hate me some Russians. Actually I hate me some Socialists which continues to include Russians.  This is for reasons nobody cares about but I’ve made clear over the years.

That being said, WTF?
Trump goes over to pay a visit to Vlad and our local socialists, our Socialist press and the Never Trump useful idiots go ape sh*t.

The Dems have no option but to continue their attempt to connect Trump with Russian meddling. Why, because they have nothing but good news to get mad about.  AND… they are being forced to be honest about who they are.  Both of the above are not good for their future.  (Did the Russians meddle in the election process? Of course they did. And they will again… just as the Chinese do, the North Koreans do, the Iranians wish they could… etc. etc. Hey dummy, here’s another tidbit, we do it too. And we will continue to do it. What do you think all that money for “Clandestine” services is used for? For you current college students, see if you can find a dictionary and look up ‘clandestine’. ) It is enjoyable however to watch Democrats hate on some Russians.  It’s like a Domestic Abuse episode of Jerry Springer where the wife is beating the crap out of the husband for everyone to see.  It’s funny because it’s purely theater and they don’t really mean it… but they think it makes for good ratings.  (And in the end the wife goes back to the husband.)

The Press is hell-bent on anyone other than Trump heavily flavored by their bizarre love affair of all things Socialist. So they are working diligently to keep the words “Trump” and “Russia” appearing together in every sentence they utter. It’s become boring.  (Has anyone heard anything about Venuzuela lately?  With any frequency?)

The Never Trumpers are desperate to get their power back and reclaim their rightful place in history as the Slave Party to the Democratic Socialists.  Can I get you a Starbucks?

Even the Criticism I’m hearing from those I listen to attentively is odd.

Folks, since when does the President of the United States suffer an obligation to stand behind everything his intelligence services say? Yes… I get it. Better to say nothing at all, but that was not allowed to happen by the Leftist Press… and it never will be allowed to happen when it comes to any Political Leader standing in the way of the the the Press’ Socialist Utopia.  Can you blame them?  What could be better than standing in line for toilet paper… oh right, the Systematic Starvation.  My bad.

Just a note — does anyone here remember when George W. Bush believed his intelligence folks and went after WMDs in Iraq? Seems to my foggy alcohol addled memory that the Leftist a-holes jumped all over him for only finding Chemical Weapons (which actually are WMDs).  Anyone?  Bueller?

The only interesting aspect of this latest Media Destabilization Effort coming from the Trump Administration is who on the Republican side of the aisle is drawing the long knives?

I would watch these people carefully… we have officially entered the Presidential Election Cycle.

Big Vagina

And I Thought I had Enough to Worry About…

Is There Anything Worse than something that gets too Big to Deal With and needs our Immediate Attention?

Big Oil, Big Banks, Big Bird and now Big Vagina.  All Big Issues for the Leftists.

I happen to agree with facets of each of these.

Big Oil…  Clearly government involvement in the Oil Industry from ridiculous regulations, barriers to entry and tax payer subsidies must go.  But this must be applied to the Energy Sector as a whole which sweeps up a darling of the Left… “Green Energy”.  It is always interesting to hear politicians act as if alternative energy projects would cease to exist if taxpayer funds didn’t directly subsidize the dreams of the Utopians.  Why I find this inane is if there were ever an organization that desired deeply to not be held hostage by fossil fuels it’s our military.  And, from my undisclosed location I have a direct view of many of those “green energy” projects paid for by your taxes… the military has conducted these for decades.  My point here, they don’t need more money… the experiments will not stop… and when it’s ready the military and the market will embrace it.

Big Banks…  Without question Big Banks had a huge part in destroying the U.S. Housing Market and the subsequent Global Economic Meltdown, Collapse of the EU and the overall state we now find ourselves in.  The Big Banks Directly Responsible were Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac… Government banks… which is why nothing will ever happen.  Nothing.  The Occupiers can continue not bathing for as long as they would like, nothing will happen.  The first time a Goldman Sachs banker, or JP Morgan banker, or any banker is pulled up before a court the connection will immediately be made to the government.  Not only will it be made to the government, it will be made in an easy, direct, way the public will be able to understand.  And we cannot have that, can we?

Big Bird… The media property that allows PBS to exist.  If Big Bird is a Victim of anything, it’s PBS.  This property has immense value… in the free market.  The bidding war to purchase Sesame Street would be fun to watch.  The employees would be superstars in a way they could never have imagined.  The franchise would explode.  The idea that losing the 5% of funding Sesame Street receives from the taxpayers is paramount to its survival takes for granted the public’s ignorance.  And, it works.  It’s genuinely sad for all of us.

Big Vagina… Now I’m confronted with a War on Women.  It appears this War started anew when Sandra Fluke made an impassioned plea that a friend of hers needed taxpayer dollars because she could not afford the Lamborghini of birth control… the $3000 a year version.  I mean, who would want to be seen in Wal-Mart?  While birth control might only be $110 a year, Wal-Mart is a bastion of dirty, toothless, conservative, non-union shoppers.  Who could possibly tolerate that?  So, pony up taxpayers!  This got limited play… thus had limited value… so Abortion was thrown out there (of which I’m Pro-Choice… just for the record), but also didn’t seem to get the desired traction with women.  The Left has always had success with the abortion issue because they have been able to position opponents as wanting to use “force”.  I, like the Socialists, am surprised that this hasn’t been more effective.  The only explanation I can come up with is the electorate is waking up to the idea that this is only area where the Leftist don’t approve of “force”, so… next up is Equal Pay.

While anecdotal, I can tell you the industries I have been associated with for many years have been dominated by women.  Most of those I hold in esteem.  Many of the highest earners were women.  Of my female peers most are still paid far more than me.  I know, I know… the statistics tell a different story.  But having “grown up” around professional women and having conversations sans political desires, I found the women consistently smarter than the men.  They chose the positions they occupied because they assigned value to the intangibles such as flexibility and limited work hours.  Not only did many of the women I knew want to have kids, they wanted to spend time with them and raise them… how stupid can you be right?  However, They didn’t expect their employer to keep their job vacant while they did this, nor did they expect to make as much as the idiot who worked from 6am to 10pm Mo-Su.  It has always been my contention that women have run the world since the beginning of time and will do so till the end of time.  As more Women forgo family we see the pay levels evening out.  If you want to sprint to the finish-line of statistical nirvana, figure out a way for men to get pregnant.  You would be surprised at how many would embrace such a chance.  (I also find it interesting how many of the high earning women I know still expect their mate to make more than they do… seems strange if parity is the only sign of equality as well as the Utopian dream.  I think a similar demand from Men would be greeted will howls, but who knows.)  Finally, pay disparities exist not just for women… but also for men.  I have always been aware that the joker across the hall can, and often did, make more money than me.  I never considered it the government’s responsibility to “even the playing field” as it’s not their job.  It’s my job.  So I would ask to be paid more, and if that failed I would find a new job of my choosing.  I exercised The Economic Principle of Substitution.

Anyway, it’s clear I don’t warrant special legal rights such as retroactive Class Action Status provided by the Lily Ledbetter Act because I don’t make up 51% of the population.

(Note: Men top the list in every category of violent crime victims save spousal abuse and rape.  Considering women make up 51% of the population… and given this statistical disparity… any of my Socialist readers have a government solution they would like to offer?  Should we collectively work to raise the incidences of crimes perpetrated on women to 51%, or should we assign special status to men and send the majority of taxpayer dollars to reduce violence against men, and men only, until there is parity?  This is the logic the Left holds up as enlightened. But I digress.)

What I find disturbing about this election cycle is the absence of my personal favorite “Big”.

Big Government…  the Cause of the above Big’s plus Big Sugar, Big Corn, Big Energy, Big Unions, Big EPA, Big OSHA, Big Healthcare, Big Insurance, Big Fat Kids, Big Education.  Big Government is the Cause and Protector of problems where there should not be any.  I’m not surprised I have to add Big Vagina to this list.

The Washington Post Does its Job!

In a world where outrage as power, The Washington Post is puffing up and screaming Foul as loudly as possible.
It seems Project Veritas sent in an imposter to profess they had information damaging to Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore… a Republican.
What is clear is that Project Veritas was attempting to solicit a reaction it has received in numerous other circumstances where bogus information offered up to Leftists at News Organizations forgo what most of us would believe should be basic journalistic standards like verifying sources due to their excitement over inflicting damage upon those they disagree with.
Well…
The Washington Post appears to have done their job, in this specific case.
And they’re mad.  Very mad.

What?

Yep, The Washington Post is Mad, Mad, Mad.

First, their feigned outrage seems to stem from the obvious implication that they do not typically do their job.

Okay…

Second, they seem to take offense at the subterfuge of a party, well not just any party but rather a ‘conservative’ party, used to test their journalistic vigilance.  Who’s to say what the reaction, or lack there of, should they verified that this person was sent to them by a Democrat Lobbying Firm… but in this case…

‘Someone needs to go to jail!’

Not quite.
Kudos to the Post for doing their job… on this one… even if they’re angry they had to do it.

However, testing a media outlet’s honesty is not a crime, yet.

What this is really about is the fear the media has because it knows, knows, that a great many of its Leftists are willing to run with whatever they think will hurt the Constitutionally Limited Government of the United States and any of those who support it. The Media has used this tactic for decades if not longer.

They know that Project Veritas will continue to be successful if it’s not destroyed, and they are screaming for its destruction. Their outrage is a loud warning to other outlets, their reporters and their useful idiots that Project Veritas is out there… so BE CAREFUL!

Their outrage is also a plea for help from their fellow travelers with the effort to destroy Project Veritas and make them an example for any other citizen watchdog groups brave enough to challenge the ‘integrity’, read leftist ideology, of the National Media.

Well…

Kudos to Project Veritas too.

If there has ever been a lesson learned over the last decade, Project Veritas can always take a page from their very first victim. Just like ACORN, if the heat gets to be too much… just split up your efforts and give them a bunch of different names, then keep going.

Praying for Pragmatism

In every post-election interview the Leftists have been groping for Pragmatism.
They are Praying that Donald Trump is not an Ideologue, like President Obama, and will compromise with them on all policy decisions… until they can regain some power in the house, senate or both, two years from now.

You can smell the fear.

The Fear is not that Trump is coming for your children, gay, straight, hispanic, latino, black, asian, Irish, even the French etc.

The Fear is that Trump might actually put in place solutions regarding Immigration.

That’s it.

Just Immigration.

The Socialists in our country are afraid that he will indeed build a wall, fence, moat… whatever… and then move to the really scary part. They Fear he will create a work visa program which makes it easy, and legal, for our neighbors to the North and South of us to come here and work if they choose to. The Democrats realize that once legitimized in such a fashion these workers would no longer be paying Social Security under stolen Social Security Numbers… they would no longer be in the shadows… and most importantly, They would no longer be able to offer up the ridiculous argument that They should have the right to vote. And, if they do desire to become a citizen of the United States the debate now moves on to our actual immigration policies… That We Already Have… and don’t enforce. No more “They’re going to deport my Grandma!” Hogwash.

Whoa!

Adding insult to injury it would now fall upon the left to remove this work privilege from our neighbors if they ever want to save the Socialist Voting base for generations to come.

I dream of a number of things, but foremost is I dream of a wonderful explosion in private charities making available such things as education to ‘ex-pat Canadians and Mexicans’ who reside here for work. (If Mark Zuckerburg wants to fill Facebook full of brilliant Mexicans and Canadians… awesome!)  I dream of an explosion of hard-working, genuinely terrific, people coming here from Mexico and Canada to make some money and help support their families abroad. I dream the United States will not only benefit from this new influx of workers, but those workers will benefit from enjoying the bounty provided by American Exceptionalism and begin wondering why their respective home countries don’t embrace Free Market Capitalism as Governing Theory.

However…

I predict that the Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, will become Mr. Filibuster in the Senate… because the Liberal Leftists cannot afford for any of this to happen.

I also predict the Democrat Party will be the party of “No!” to all things.

It is going to be an interesting 4-years… possibly 8.

What if it’s not the Russians? (Previously: Picking a Fight with the CIA…)

One must ask why.

While the release of the ‘CIA Sucks Report’ was a foregone conclusion given Diane Feinstein’s drive to leave a parting gift to her Leftist base…

I remain convinced the timing of the report was designed to remove Jonathon Gruber from the headlines and allow the mainstream liberals something else to put on the evening news.  (I continue to believe Gruber, and his honesty about how Liberals see American’s, is profoundly damaging.)

That aside, the report begs the question “Why?”.

Why would you rehash what we already know?

Why would you emphasize enhanced terrorist interrogation techniques and our efforts to keep them alive while in captivity such as Rectal Feeding?  (I would remind you all that there are certain restaurants in Feinstein’s own San Francisco specializing in that very thing.)

Why would you give additional specific information allowing the remaining Terrorist A-holes to cross reference and pinpoint those involved?

I believe this fight started with Benghazi. It continued with the summary ‘execution’ of the Afghanistan Chief of Station’s career by officially outing his name.

And, the apparent conflict is being taken to a brand new level with the release of this report.

Is the CIA not being cooperative enough with the Socialists in our Government?

Might they have issues with how they are being tossed under the bus by an Administration that practises Drone Diplomacy?  Our deteriorating relationship with Israel?  Allowing North Korea and Iran to acquire Nuclear Weapons and the means to ‘deliver’ them?  Our inability to keep secrets?  Our ceding the Middle East to the Terrorists after shedding American Blood to keep it out of their hands?

Are our covert Agencies not being quiet enough when it comes to the murder of our Diplomat and security personnel in Benghazi?  Could it be they are not on board with the Administration, and the rest of the Leftists, who didn’t want to appear ‘aggressive’ to the rest of the world by providing adequate security?

Is this just another attempt to paint Bush as a Domestic Terrorist since we are ‘all citizens of the world’ according to our own home-grown Socialists?

I believe it’s all the above.

Feinstein thinks, because of her retirement, she is now beyond the reach of the American people, and this is a flying f-you to the very agency and agencies she over saw.  The very same Agencies whose techniques she previously, and repeatedly, approved of.

The Covert folks do not seem interested in being quiet about how this Administration is conducting itself. They are not interested in being hung out to die… so to speak.

They do not seem interested in continuing to do what they must while being used as political pawns in a game that is decidedly anti-capitalist.

There a was a time that many of us could fool ourselves into thinking that those who professed to be Socialists were doing so in order simply to get elected.

Now many of us, and I must conclude those in the intelligence services as well, are finding out those they thought to be donning a cloak of Progressive Populism are in fact… serious.  And the very folks that put their lives on the line for the rest of us everyday are suffering in the worst ways because of it.  Add to this that many of those we thought were Constitutional Loyalists are nothing of the sort.

We are watching the Republic crumble, and lives are being lost as a result.

Are we witnessing an awakening by those that keep the secrets?

Possibly… but I’m wrong more often than I’m right.

However, there is no doubt that a dark war has started in D.C.

Bits of it are finding sunlight.

It seems the Left wants it that way.  What do they stand to gain?

Is it an attempt at a purge?

Are the Progressives trying to consolidate power as they have been trying to do in the Military?

Preserving my right to Cheat!

 

There is no reason to oppose voter ID laws unless you intend to preserve your ability to commit voter fraud.

You cannot present a single reason why every person choosing to vote should not have a state issued, or otherwise verifiable, identification card with a picture which is required to be presented prior to practicing one of the most important acts imaginable in a Democratic Republic.

Not a single reason.
I must present picture ID to enter a bar.
I must present picture ID to rent a car.
I must present picture ID to get a hotel room.
I must present picture ID to fly in an airplane.
I must present picture ID when in every other country. (And they do not allow me to vote in their elections.)
I must present picture ID to purchase a home.
I must present picture ID to open a savings account.
I must present picture ID when pulled over for speeding.
I must present picture ID to get a job.

But… to “legally” screw up your life with my vote by electing idiots?

I can be anybody, and everybody, with no proof necessary… even dead… and vote.

Priceless.

The process of free and honest elections is a Pillar of Freedom.

If you vote for, or support the appointment of, these horrible people who want to preserve their right to cheat, you need to admit to yourself that you are also a horrible person.  (We already know it.)

Hurray for Hillary’s VP Choice!

Let’s give a big round of very Old Rich White Male Applause to Tim Kaine… because it’s not as if the Black Vote is going anywhere!  Hear!  Hear!

Hillary has decided to prop herself up with the Junior Senator from Virginia. Why?  Because the Are You Ready Campaign has determined to run with “Boring” as their positioning statement.  Oh… and the Senator speaks El Espanol.  Yes, he actually speaks Spanish, it’s not some insulting and foolishly offensive accent implying he does.  Not only will this be new to the Hillary Campaign, the addition of Kaine genuinely brings two new language skills to the effort ramping it up to a total to two.  Impressive.

Most importantly, Kaine supplies the Hillary camp with something she desperately needs… he humanizes the candidate.

In the same way the DNC quietly promoted the faux-candidacy of Bernie Sanders in order to make Hillary appear “Centrist”, they have continued with that strategy by tapping the Senator for VP.  The thinking goes that he will allow her to appear; not covered in hair, down to earth kinda, intelligent, less green, female and possibly human by comparison while delivering the hairy, non-bathing, eco-terrorist, beta male, could be a monkey vote.  All things she desperately needs if she is going to win the presidency.

If you ask us here, it’s a wise choice indeed.

For full disclosure… I know Tim Kaine.  Well, he’s more of a distant cousin.  While we are both from Virginia, his side of the family tended to be, how shall I put it, a bit closer.  I got the functional alcoholism and they all now have wings…. and they wear shoes.  (The shoes are weird.)
