Need a Little Help Here… Are the Russians Coming?

While it’s true, I’ve been laying low watching the fire overhead, I am struck by this latest explosion of stupidity.

So, I’m going to untie my fingers.

First I will say, I hate me some Russians. Actually I hate me some Socialists which continues to include Russians.  This is for reasons nobody cares about but I’ve made clear over the years.

That being said, WTF?
Trump goes over to pay a visit to Vlad and our local socialists, our Socialist press and the Never Trump useful idiots go ape sh*t.

The Dems have no option but to continue their attempt to connect Trump with Russian meddling. Why, because they have nothing but good news to get mad about.  AND… they are being forced to be honest about who they are.  Both of the above are not good for their future.  (Did the Russians meddle in the election process? Of course they did. And they will again… just as the Chinese do, the North Koreans do, the Iranians wish they could… etc. etc. Hey dummy, here’s another tidbit, we do it too. And we will continue to do it. What do you think all that money for “Clandestine” services is used for? For you current college students, see if you can find a dictionary and look up ‘clandestine’. ) It is enjoyable however to watch Democrats hate on some Russians.  It’s like a Domestic Abuse episode of Jerry Springer where the wife is beating the crap out of the husband for everyone to see.  It’s funny because it’s purely theater and they don’t really mean it… but they think it makes for good ratings.  (And in the end the wife goes back to the husband.)

The Press is hell-bent on anyone other than Trump heavily flavored by their bizarre love affair of all things Socialist. So they are working diligently to keep the words “Trump” and “Russia” appearing together in every sentence they utter. It’s become boring.  (Has anyone heard anything about Venuzuela lately?  With any frequency?)

The Never Trumpers are desperate to get their power back and reclaim their rightful place in history as the Slave Party to the Democratic Socialists.  Can I get you a Starbucks?

Even the Criticism I’m hearing from those I listen to attentively is odd.

So?

Folks, since when does the President of the United States suffer an obligation to stand behind everything his intelligence services say? Yes… I get it. Better to say nothing at all, but that was not allowed to happen by the Leftist Press… and it never will be allowed to happen when it comes to any Political Leader standing in the way of the the the Press’ Socialist Utopia.  Can you blame them?  What could be better than standing in line for toilet paper… oh right, the Systematic Starvation.  My bad.

Just a note — does anyone here remember when George W. Bush believed his intelligence folks and went after WMDs in Iraq? Seems to my foggy alcohol addled memory that the Leftist a-holes jumped all over him for only finding Chemical Weapons (which actually are WMDs).  Anyone?  Bueller?

The only interesting aspect of this latest Media Destabilization Effort coming from the Trump Administration is who on the Republican side of the aisle is drawing the long knives?

I would watch these people carefully… we have officially entered the Presidential Election Cycle.

Big Vagina

And I Thought I had Enough to Worry About…

Is There Anything Worse than something that gets too Big to Deal With and needs our Immediate Attention?

Big Oil, Big Banks, Big Bird and now Big Vagina.  All Big Issues for the Leftists.

I happen to agree with facets of each of these.

Big Oil…  Clearly government involvement in the Oil Industry from ridiculous regulations, barriers to entry and tax payer subsidies must go.  But this must be applied to the Energy Sector as a whole which sweeps up a darling of the Left… “Green Energy”.  It is always interesting to hear politicians act as if alternative energy projects would cease to exist if taxpayer funds didn’t directly subsidize the dreams of the Utopians.  Why I find this inane is if there were ever an organization that desired deeply to not be held hostage by fossil fuels it’s our military.  And, from my undisclosed location I have a direct view of many of those “green energy” projects paid for by your taxes… the military has conducted these for decades.  My point here, they don’t need more money… the experiments will not stop… and when it’s ready the military and the market will embrace it.

Big Banks…  Without question Big Banks had a huge part in destroying the U.S. Housing Market and the subsequent Global Economic Meltdown, Collapse of the EU and the overall state we now find ourselves in.  The Big Banks Directly Responsible were Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac… Government banks… which is why nothing will ever happen.  Nothing.  The Occupiers can continue not bathing for as long as they would like, nothing will happen.  The first time a Goldman Sachs banker, or JP Morgan banker, or any banker is pulled up before a court the connection will immediately be made to the government.  Not only will it be made to the government, it will be made in an easy, direct, way the public will be able to understand.  And we cannot have that, can we?

Big Bird… The media property that allows PBS to exist.  If Big Bird is a Victim of anything, it’s PBS.  This property has immense value… in the free market.  The bidding war to purchase Sesame Street would be fun to watch.  The employees would be superstars in a way they could never have imagined.  The franchise would explode.  The idea that losing the 5% of funding Sesame Street receives from the taxpayers is paramount to its survival takes for granted the public’s ignorance.  And, it works.  It’s genuinely sad for all of us.

Big Vagina… Now I’m confronted with a War on Women.  It appears this War started anew when Sandra Fluke made an impassioned plea that a friend of hers needed taxpayer dollars because she could not afford the Lamborghini of birth control… the $3000 a year version.  I mean, who would want to be seen in Wal-Mart?  While birth control might only be $110 a year, Wal-Mart is a bastion of dirty, toothless, conservative, non-union shoppers.  Who could possibly tolerate that?  So, pony up taxpayers!  This got limited play… thus had limited value… so Abortion was thrown out there (of which I’m Pro-Choice… just for the record), but also didn’t seem to get the desired traction with women.  The Left has always had success with the abortion issue because they have been able to position opponents as wanting to use “force”.  I, like the Socialists, am surprised that this hasn’t been more effective.  The only explanation I can come up with is the electorate is waking up to the idea that this is only area where the Leftist don’t approve of “force”, so… next up is Equal Pay.

While anecdotal, I can tell you the industries I have been associated with for many years have been dominated by women.  Most of those I hold in esteem.  Many of the highest earners were women.  Of my female peers most are still paid far more than me.  I know, I know… the statistics tell a different story.  But having “grown up” around professional women and having conversations sans political desires, I found the women consistently smarter than the men.  They chose the positions they occupied because they assigned value to the intangibles such as flexibility and limited work hours.  Not only did many of the women I knew want to have kids, they wanted to spend time with them and raise them… how stupid can you be right?  However, They didn’t expect their employer to keep their job vacant while they did this, nor did they expect to make as much as the idiot who worked from 6am to 10pm Mo-Su.  It has always been my contention that women have run the world since the beginning of time and will do so till the end of time.  As more Women forgo family we see the pay levels evening out.  If you want to sprint to the finish-line of statistical nirvana, figure out a way for men to get pregnant.  You would be surprised at how many would embrace such a chance.  (I also find it interesting how many of the high earning women I know still expect their mate to make more than they do… seems strange if parity is the only sign of equality as well as the Utopian dream.  I think a similar demand from Men would be greeted will howls, but who knows.)  Finally, pay disparities exist not just for women… but also for men.  I have always been aware that the joker across the hall can, and often did, make more money than me.  I never considered it the government’s responsibility to “even the playing field” as it’s not their job.  It’s my job.  So I would ask to be paid more, and if that failed I would find a new job of my choosing.  I exercised The Economic Principle of Substitution.

Anyway, it’s clear I don’t warrant special legal rights such as retroactive Class Action Status provided by the Lily Ledbetter Act because I don’t make up 51% of the population.

(Note: Men top the list in every category of violent crime victims save spousal abuse and rape.  Considering women make up 51% of the population… and given this statistical disparity… any of my Socialist readers have a government solution they would like to offer?  Should we collectively work to raise the incidences of crimes perpetrated on women to 51%, or should we assign special status to men and send the majority of taxpayer dollars to reduce violence against men, and men only, until there is parity?  This is the logic the Left holds up as enlightened. But I digress.)

What I find disturbing about this election cycle is the absence of my personal favorite “Big”.

Big Government…  the Cause of the above Big’s plus Big Sugar, Big Corn, Big Energy, Big Unions, Big EPA, Big OSHA, Big Healthcare, Big Insurance, Big Fat Kids, Big Education.  Big Government is the Cause and Protector of problems where there should not be any.  I’m not surprised I have to add Big Vagina to this list.

Why do Socialists Hate Capitalism?

So why does the Left, Progressive, Democrat, Liberal Socialist hate Capitalism so very, very, much?  (I don’t like having to use so many terms, but every time we figure out who these people are they change their name.)

They Hate Capitalism because it does not need them.

I’ve written about this is the past. Capitalism is the Default State of Economics. Capitalism appears in the hardest of Communist experiments. Mutually Beneficial Exchange bubbles up under the most horrific regimes.  There is always a War to stop it… but Voluntary Free-Trade cannot be stopped… ever.

This fact, that Free-Trade does not need Socialist guidance, makes them feel small in the Universe. It is a cold illustration of their value… and when you have an Ego that demands your “intelligence” be recognized, this is indeed a painful insult to suffer.

So, the self-proclaimed “Elites” among us have created, perpetuated, clung to, a governing theory that makes them feel good regardless of the historically demonstrable destruction left in it’s wake.

They have ignored, rewritten, re-phrased and changed the meaning of everything to protect the only system that permanently puts them in charge of everybody else.  I will remind you that this mindset is found across party lines… once you understand the definition of Socialism and it’s variants, spotting it is simple and you will no longer be fooled by “Democrat”, “Republican”, etc.

The reason I bring this up is that the election is upon us.  And if you think the Liberals will go quietly into the night you will be gravely disappointed.  There will be a screaming and gnashing of teeth rarely seen.  The Socialists have achieved almost all of what they have been working on for the last 100 years.  They will do anything and everything in order to preserve those gains.  The accusations will be loud, vile and repeated often not just by them but by their friends in the press.  All efforts to return the United States to a path of fiscal solvency and Free-Market principles will be met with claims of destruction, disease and death.  Should they lose their power… They will push, beg, plead, for “Bipartisanship”, “Cooperation” and “Compromise” to hold on to their gains and maintain status quo until they can wrest control of the government again.  And we have seen what happens when they have that control…

This is far from over, so don’t think you can just cast your vote and walk away.  If we are going to be the country the rest of the world looks up to, there will need to be a level of perseverance never before required of the electorate.  You will have to hold those you voted for accountable for the principles they espoused.  You will have to have a solid foundation to repel the arguments flung at you from the Left.  The Liberals will be desperate… and ruthless.  All the while accusing you of being both.

So it’s time for the Capitalists to move Forward!

Roll back the policies of the Past!  Save the Country from Bankruptcy!  Restore Individual Freedom!

We all know Free-Market Capitalism is the wave of the future.  It’s been 100 years… let’s give it a try again.  It will be painful, particularly for those who have built empires on Socialist policies.  It will also hurt the feelings of those who think they know better for you than you do.  But I can live with that.  Let’s bruise some Ego’s.  Even the Leftists will be better off for it.

Okay folks, I’ve made no bones that I’m a Cruz guy. But this latest attack on Trump is possibly one of the most idiotic. Mitt Romney did not run for President as a Nincompoop. But his attempt to go after Trump is the task of a half-wit.

The Desperation coming from the Establishment RINO’s is on parade.

It’s pathetic.

Of all the people to send out after Trump… Romney was not the guy.

If Mitt is the ‘opening salvo’, this is going to be a very interesting few months.

This is the cleansing sunlight We needed and We are seeing everyone’s true colors.

The damage to the Liberal Republicans will be permanent, regardless of the outcome.

But they continue to operate like they stumbled across a mixed bag of chew-able Oxycontin and Meth… they making as many Bad decisions as they can, as quickly as possible.

But some things still make me laugh, and seem strangely relevant today.

Let it burn.

So I’ve been relatively quiet the last several weeks. I have spent most of my time reading.

A little Mao, a little Card, a little Smith and little Goldberg… along with every article I can find on this latest loss to the Left.

It’s always interesting to hear those I respect, and many I don’t, suffer the same attempt to understand why the United States chose the Socialist… once again. Luckily for me, these folks have done so in type…

From what I have gleaned there are three basic themes:

1. Republicans do not, or are incapable of, running a candidate with a solid foundation of Free-market principles (aka Capitalist) who is willing to espouse them in a cogent concise manner. Over, and over, and over.

2. The Republicans fall in line every time the Socialists say “We need civility, cooperation and bipartisanship”… which actually means “help us make these horrible Socialist ideas work… or at least let us blame YOU when they predictably don’t”.

3. The country is divided between those who make and those who take… and the takers voted. (I know this is offensive… particularly to the “takers”, which is why I’m convinced it is truth. Nobody is ever offended by ridiculous assertions… because they’re ridiculous.  Clowns are funny, not offensive.)

These three points are the wheat, separated from the chafe. These are what survives poor logic, and the socialist republican thought, we have been subject to for decades.

So what are the “solutions” to this problem?

First…

Let it burn.

We have an opportunity to allow Socialism to Fail Epically. The “Fiscal Cliff” is a Socialist wet dream. And, in the words of Barack Obama, elections have consequences… well, I agree.

While I do not support a stance of “walking away” from the issue, I do support adopting a tactic of the left. A tactic so common that the American people have come to accept it. A tactic so old that Machiavelli shared it with his Prince.

Tell everyone, repeatedly, that you want to help “solve” this problem. Let everyone know how dangerous it is and that you agree with the Democrats regarding the election results… Tell every listening ear that you’ll welcome whatever solutions the Democrats and Barack Obama send over… then do nothing.  Never once acknowledge any proposals sent up for consideration…

In fact… ignore any “solutions” that might be sent over no matter how ridiculous. Don’t laugh at them, don’t critique how stupid they may be, don’t acknowledge them at all. Just stay with the above plea and offer of immediate cooperation and bipartisanship when the Democrats come to the table.

Then stay quiet. In other words, if you’re not talking about how cooperative you’re going to be and busy being “civil” while doing nothing… you should have a steaming hot cup of Shut the F*ck Up in your hand sipping away.

“But Mike… but Mike… that means we go over the Fiscal Cliff! Aghhhhh…”

Yep. It’s time for some pain. It’s time for the takers to see what Socialism is all about in a way that cannot be ignored, spun or placed at the feet of Capitalists.

“But Mike… The press will blame the Republicans!”

Yep. But not the few who openly stand for Free Market Capitalism. And this will be the opportunity for them to rise up and shine.

Second…

Genuinely pay attention to the foundations of the candidates you support.  (The ability to recognize these values will require YOU to understand them first.  So, get to work.)

In other words, not what they say… talk is cheap… but what they do… all the time.

If the Great Experiment is to succeed, we must… must, with no exceptions… seek out and elect those whose beliefs are founded in Free-market Capitalism and Individual Liberty.  They must believe it.  They must practise it.  They must understand what limited government means and how that benefits every citizen in the U.S., not just all the little groups the Left wants, needs, us to identify with.

It is the single “Big Idea”.  It is a unifying message.  It is the “Big Tent” under which all of us can get underneath if we choose to.  It is exactly what the Socialists fear… and right now they have no fear, evidently for good reason.

It will be the platform our current and aspiring leaders must run on during the mid-terms. It will be the platform all of us must insist on during the primaries for 2016. The rest of the republicans I don’t care about… aside from removing them from office and replacing them with Capitalists.

Third…

Call it what it is.

Call this crap Socialism.  Why are we 16 Trillion dollars in debt and headed for Fiscal Oblivion?  Socialism.  Why are our kids failing in school? Socialism.  Why are there no jobs out there? Socialism.  Why did the housing market crash?  Socialism.  Why do the banks control everything?  Socialism.  Why are our taxes going up rather than our government stopping the out of control spending?  Socialism.  Why does everything cost more?  Socialism.  Who wants to get ahold of our savings and 401k’s?  Socialists.  Who wants to nationalize more companies forcing taxpayers to support the Unions?  Socialists.  Who are the Socialists responsible for all of this?  Name them… from both parties.  Often, and as loud as possible.

This may sound “too simple”.

I would offer that if it is too simple why hasn’t it been done since Reagan?

The Left chastises those who “still live in the era of Reagan.”  They think Reagan is idolized as Reagan the man… Well I happen to idolize Reagan, not as “the man” but rather as the guy who stood for what this country was founded on.  If you give me someone else who truly believes in those same things and shows no fear, ever, in espousing them and then actually doing them once in office I will idolize them too.

So there you have it.  The Political Consultant class will call this naive… fine.  I expect nothing less because the above “Big Idea” doesn’t require their input… thus will not generate foolish amounts of money headed their way.

I will offer only a single defense.

“Attention Political Consultants… I’ve read all your stuff… every bit of it.  I’ve watched all your brilliance closely, campaign after campaign.  The only winners, or at least those who profit, at the end of the day are you.  I know Socialism… deeply.  You also profess to as well, yet you preach “reaching out” to disparate groups, the same groups created for the purposes of the Left you supposedly oppose.  You promote Bipartisanship and non-offensive messaging for fear of offending the sensibilities of our home-grown Communists…  In your model, “Getting something done” is more important than “Getting only the right things done and nothing else”.  Both Lenin and Alinsky agree, a compromise is a win for the Left… and you are part of the problem.  You are why we are here.

4-Years Ago

I remember 2008 like it was yesterday.

We had a small gathering of friends over for the traditional Watching of the Returns. It was warm enough for us to sit outside due to the Conservative Republican disregard for all things Mother Earth.

When It became obvious the Oldest, Whitest, most “Warmongering” Male the east coast Open Primary Democrat Cross-Over Voters could pick to run against Barack Obama was going to Lose the election I set my beer down and went to the cabinet.

This is when I dug out my Red Army Chorus Collection and let it play for the rest of the Evening.

Having Read everything that the Obama campaign had put out for public consumption, not the least of which was The Blueprint for America, I knew what was coming. And apparently, unlike 99% of those who voted for him… (as shown later by the plethora of “deer-in-the-headlights” post-election interviews with self-professed Obama Voters) I was not “Surprised” by what happened.

Having taken a small amount of time to read very basic books on Economics like “Hazlitt’s – Economics in One Lesson” I was not “Surprised” when his ideas failed. Having looked at what Lessons History had recorded for all time in regard to Socialism and it’s results, I was not “Surprised” when his policies created nothing but more of the problems he thought he could solve.  Having spent a cursory amount of attention, just during my brief lifetime, as to how Socialists promise to behave before gaining power then actually behave once they have it, I was not “Surprised” when they shut out all opposition to their ideas from any and all debate during Obama’s first two years in office giving us the Largest Government Grab of personal wealth in the history of the United States.

The Country was built on the idea that we would all talk about politics… all the time. This country was built on the idea that we would stay engaged and always lend a modicum of energy to educating ourselves on local and national issues before, during and after we voted. This country has suffered from our abdication of our responsibilities to others we don’t even know living in places we have never visited.

So here we are.

What direction are we going to choose tonight?

Are we going to solidify our march to Socialism… because all it will take is another 4-years? Everything is in place and ready for the final touches.  It’s taken them 100-years… don’t fool yourself into thinking they’re going to give up easily, let alone anytime soon.

Or are we going to pick a squishy Conservative who we will have to watch very closely and make sure he doesn’t wander from the path returning us to Free Markets and Free Dominion over Ourselves? This will require rolling back 100-years of Leftist policy codified in our legal system… to the shrieking of those whose power and control relies.  We will be accused of the most heinous crimes imaginable… ready?

This is a turning point. The point of no return. It’s not enough to vote and walk away… for the rest of your life and your children’s lives we will have to be at attention and quick to confront those we thought shared our Love of Liberty.

Tomorrow is a New Day…

Final 2012 Presidential Debate Results

The overall Theme Last Night seemed to be MSU.  (Make Sh*t Up)

For those unfamiliar with this term it is a cousin of CRS. (Can’t Remember Sh#t)

Typically we see MSU during the campaign seasons followed by CRS once we’ve elected our representative whomever that might be.  We also see CRS when our politicians find themselves testifying before congress, investigative panels, commissions or traffic judges.  One of my favorite examples was Hillary Clinton during the White Water investigations.  Reagan also comes to mind, but he was at the edge of seriously ill at that point.

Anyway, it appeared the The President was willing to provide new “facts” regarding our foreign policy knowing he could not be challenged on them.  He also seemed to offer assessments of our standing in the world that seemed counter to what we are seeing with our own eyes… he must know more than we do.  Or, it’s a case of MSU.  You decide.

We did, however, get to hear a little honesty from our President.  He let us all know in no uncertain terms, that HE is The Country.  That is a soundbite that should live forever.

As Far as Romney’s performance… it was bland.  But bland was what it appeared they were going for.  “Just try to look like you wont mess yourself when you get into office”.  Mission Accomplished.  So, Bravo!

The next best things going on last night were Chris Wallace’s suit, and Chris Mathews getting to play the race card again…  Someone should follow Mathews around with a hidden camera for a day, that would have to be entertaining.

In the End, this debate had little influence.  We were all watching for a crash and burn… and got nothing.

Early voting has started over much of the country, so fewer and fewer minds are left to change at this point.  Short of Romney showing up at a campaign rally and slapping Obama, or the other way around, nothing new will come of this election.  At this point it is what it is.

I did have to drink quite a bit last night though.  They wandered all over the domestic issues… I think they got word of the rules.  I might have missed something important, but I’m having a case of CRS this morning.

Such will be the last two weeks campaign strategy of President Obama.

You Asked For It!

Like the Spouse caught cheating… “It’s your fault for asking!”

“Of course my excuse about my afternoon hotel stays with clients was so stupid… you demanded it right away!  What did you think you’re going to get?”

So the Latest Round of To Tell the Truth – The Benghazi Edition is “When you demand an answer right away this is what you get”.  “You People are so Dumb!”

I will go back once again to what I have said from the start. If you don’t have an answer… Say Nothing.  This is what I expect from my government.  Keep in mind however… it will not dissuade me from continuing to ask.

But the interesting part, and that which only leads to keeping this story alive is;  The projection of blame requiring an ever-changing narrative.  Obama has run out of women to point a finger at… save Michelle… and I kind of think he’s physically afraid of her.  Probably prudent.  So, over the last couple of weeks… He’s tried blaming the State Department as a whole, The DIA, The CIA, and of course Mitt Romney…  none of it seems to be sticking to the wall.

Which brings us to today…

“We gave you what we had right away!  It’s your fault for asking!”  (While this is demonstrably not true, that’s not the point.)

The new tack is to blame everyone who wanted to know what was going on “right away”.  In a way it’s genius.  If you can’t convince anyone, anywhere, that it’s the fault of the specific people you want to blame… then accuse EVERYONE.  Take That!

“How Dare You!”  The fact that you’re asking any questions what-so-ever is a direct insult to our entire Intelligence and Diplomatic “corpse”.  Don’t Question Me!

I’ve decided to start using this same tactic… it’s the perfect excuse for everything, all the time.  Because, someone will always “demand” to know right away what is going on.  And, it’s a far better way to handle “the Nosey” than sending out the clowns to offer up explanations crafted at the desks of Late Night writers. (An aside: Little of their stuff is ever funny in the first place, and certainly not in this case.)

But, Tonight’s Debate is the end of the road. Blaming the Victim is all they have left… and they’re going to use it to whatever advantage they can.  You don’t think so?  Consider this… They’re still trying to gin up anger over Romney making a factual statement the morning of the attack. How Dare he say something that is so true, so quickly!… I mean, how political can you get?

Well Media, you ready to shoulder the blame for doing your jobs? You all should have just SHUT UP! and waited for the information if-and-when the Administration decided what the story was, and then if-and-when they decided to provide it.  It’s about time you open up your Little Red Style Book and review the rules! “Because who are you going to believe?  Me? or your damn lying eyes?”
