The Default State of economics…

Many years and countless hours of studying Socialist countries has presented me with two absolute and demonstrable facts.
First, Socialism never works no matter how much your local Socialist wants or wishes it too.  Or for that matter, tells themselves it does.
Second, Free Market Capitalism is the default state of economics.

Without fail, once established and entrenched, a socialized economy gives birth to a separate and “unequal” system of trade.

A system of trade that is not controlled by the state. It has many names such a black, grey, underground and illegal… but those in charge never call it “free” which is exactly what it is.  (In Russia there was a simple rule everyone lived by… if you see a line get in it.  They knew that whatever was at the other end, whether they wanted it or not, could be traded for something they did want.)

The Socialists have attempted every imaginable idea to stop Capitalism in its tracks but  have succeeded only in slowing it down and creating distortions which they then blame on the very free market they distorted.

They stare dumbfounded at a system of trade that does not require their genius, planning or input, to be successful.

So, Throughout history the Free Market has ruled unmatched in it’s success and durability as the premier economic system.
(An aside: I’ve encountered a school of liberalism (a poorly educated one) that has labeled Free Market trade as “Smithian Capitalism”. I would remind these Elitist Know Nothings that Smith was simply an observer and recorded what had been evident for millennia. Just because he was the first to organize it on paper does not make him the architect of voluntary trade.)
Free trade has flourished under monarchies and Marxism alike.

It cannot be stopped… but that seems to be one of the tenets of our present day, home-grown Socialists. There is an ongoing effort to slow Capitalism down with policy issues like global warming which then lead to ideas like cap-and-trade etc. Ironically it is the resistance from the rest of the socialized world which stands in the way of these ill-founded ideas… the Communist Chinese understand the value of free market trade which is why Hong Kong has been left alone.  But they also recognize the inability to control a population enjoying a Free-Market, which is why they have not officially adopted the economic system for China proper.
But the point is, when the superiority of Free Market Capitalism is recognized even by those who wish to see it go away, you have to ask yourself why are we still fighting with these same types of people at home?
I have and will continue to offer it is about Power and Control… it is about a mindset that see themselves so superior to you that the concept of not making your decisions for you is unthinkable. In their minds, It is about keeping you from always making the wrong choice because you’re too stupid to know better.
We finally have a single country, in the United States of America, founded on the beneficial evidence of  individual rights, voluntary trade and property rights.  And the Left can’t leave it alone.

I’m tired of placating these people and their oppressive ideas coated with a candy glaze of “fairness”.  Simply being born in a country doesn’t make it “yours”. If we are not racists then we should surely not be “Geographists” either. We should organize ourselves according to ideas on  Individual Freedom and Liberty.  Those who do not believe in how this country was founded need only find a country where their ideas fit in.

Socialists already own most of the planet… how is that working out for them?  Surely the EU could use the brilliance of our modern day Left to help them put their Socialist Utopia back in order.

Uh… Que Paso?

Regardless of how you feel about Trump, the Wall, Mexico Paying for a Wall, The U.S. Paying for a Wall, Your Aunt Betty Paying for the Wall, etc. etc. There is something extremely interesting about what the current Mexican Socialist Finance Minister has to say here.

Please re-read the words “…the reality of North American integration.”

Really?

I thought that idea was strictly the territory of flag waving, tin foil hat wearing, gun clinging conspiracy theorists.

Apparently I need to add Mexico’s Finance Minister to that list.

Allow me to ask a simple question,

Do you think the Mexican Government would feel the same way, as they seem to feel now, if millions of Americans were flooding into Mexico taking advantage of their social services, such as Welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, Subsidized Housing, Schools, Universities, anon, while simultaneously demanding Free-Market Capitalism, a complete re-write of their Constitution defining Inalienable Rights in order to elevate the Individual above the Government, the Right to Vote (even though they do it anyway, they just want to make it official) and Immunity from all or any Immigration laws… all the while, vowing to Never Leave?

We’ve talked in the past about Socialist Countries living on the teat of American Capitalism, with Canada and Mexico being two of the worst offenders.  Both Countries would find it difficult if we didn’t prop them up through accepting their workers, buying their resources, providing favorable trade policies and often direct grants to their countries.

This topic rarely get’s even a mention from our studious media watchdogs… as it should.

Well, in my opinion, it’s time to stop feeding the bears… or Gila Monsters in this specific case.

It’s time to cut off direct subsidies to those who overtly wish to destroy the Greatest Experiment in Self Rule the World has ever known.  It’s time to stop allowing Socialism to survive it’s own oppressive, destructive and deadly nature.  It’s time for a Revolution of Enlightenment Thinking to take place in Mexico.

Viva La Age of Reason!

Sadly however, we no longer know what that means here in the U.S.  So one might ask “How do we promote such a Revolution in Thought on our borders?” The answer is we don’t. Until we get our own affairs in order, there will be no helping those most in need of it.

The Minister’s comments serve to highlight to conflict of visions… and they are also an accurate assessment of what is happening right before our eyes.  Mexico is not becoming a country Governed by Enlightenment Philosophy… it is the United States which is becoming a Socialized Democracy of the likes Marx,  envisioned, save the ridiculous Utopian tripe.

Unfortunately, due to our intellectual apathy and determined disregard for what is the value of American Exceptionalism, we may have already lost the battle to free the world, but more importantly save ourselves.

Democracy Kills.

Stop It! Stop It! Stop It!

Stop talking about “Democracy” as if it’s a good thing!

While this is a sin committed by seemingly everyone, it struck me after listening yet again to the President and the Secretary of State speak glowingly about Democracy being introduced to the Middle East (Which is melting down), and the resulting democratically elected leaders that we MUST deal with, it occurred to me that they were playing on the ignorance of the American people… yet again.

This is not splitting hairs… this matters and we all need to understand it.  Democracy is horrible.

Historically, when Democracy is present, populations (almost without fail) vote themselves into tyranny.  In other words they ask to be taken care of, and they get taken care of… just not the way they wanted.  Every Socialist Dictator claims to be, and most often has been, at some point “Democratically elected”…

Do you really want to help countries enjoy what we enjoy here is the United States?

Here are the ingredients, all of which are poisonous on their own;

A Judiciary, by itself is a collection of “priests” passing edicts upon the population by fiat.

A Congress, by itself is a tribal meeting of elites fighting for and protecting their personal interests.

An Executive, by himself is a dictator.

What is required to establish a Free Country is a mix of the above…

A recipe, or better yet, a Constitution specifically defining the checks and balances of each branch and limiting government to very specific responsibilities to protect the Individual and his property rights.  (Unenforced, is a “living, breathing” piece of paper and nothing more.)

Elections without ALL of the above, is Democracy.  Democracy, by itself is simply “legitimized” mob rule.  This is what is being promoted by the Progressive Left.

But combine the above with Free-Market Capitalism protected by Individual Property Rights and now you have a recipe for greatness.  You have what the United States should be…

However,

Democracy on its own… you have what is today the Middle East.  A region on Fire and Falling into Theocratic Oblivion.

The goal should never be “Democracy”.  And, contrary to what generations of poorly educated public school teachers think (and apparently the Obama Administration as well), we do not live in a Democracy.  The United states is the product of a finely tuned mixture of all the above.  We should know this, and understand it.  Democracy is only one part of a beautiful formula making our country unique from the rest of the world.  Now is the opportunity to contrast what we have, and why we have it, against a tapestry of violence and destruction.  If today’s examples are not good enough then let’s go back a little ways.  Lenin wrote profusely regarding “Democratic Socialism” and his wish for “Democracy” leading to the dictatorship by the Proletariat.  Mao added a class and proposed roughly the same thing.  The Socialists have always viewed direct “Democracy” as integral to their achieving their goals.  I could list a number of prominent Social Elitists who killed their own citizens in the name of Social Utopia, but for this post those two should suffice.

In case you didn’t know;

We proudly (most of us proudly…) live in a Democratic Republic… “if we can keep it.”

We work very hard at maintaining the integrity of our elections.  (Or at least we should.  The lack of prosecutions for election fraud is deplorable.  ref: Preserving My Right to Cheat.)  We also have checks and balances at every level of our local, state and Federal government with the hope we can keep it.

To make this simple, understand the words you use.  When you do, you’ll understand what others are saying to you.  And you’ll learn quickly that some things you think are “good” are actually “evil”.  (Like decaf coffee… who drinks this?  Do the same people drink non-alcoholic Beer?  What’s next, non-alcoholic Bourbon? Clearly there is evil in the world.)

Lenin was Big on Allowing Votes…

So long as they went his way.

He also advocated doing exactly what you intended to do prior to asking permission… if that permission was not granted.  The Obama Administration has demonstrated this with Obama Care, Private Schools for Minority kids, EPA regs, etc. etc.

So now the RINO Republican Establishment has also decided to take their ball and go home.

Why?  Because we don’t like them.

When John Boehner announced he would resign from Congress at the end of October there were cheers throughout the land by those who believe in the Constitution as it is written and the rule of law for which it is the foundation.

But the ‘election’ of a new speaker was to be gamed.

The Establishment wanted to replace Boehner with yet another controllable Republican. It was thought that shuffling the deck chairs would fool the American Public into thinking they were the beneficiaries of change.

We the People didn’t fall for it.

The few genuine Republicans we have been able to send to DC made our feelings known by not supporting this RINO rehash.

So what is the result?

Boehner has decided to call off the election for the Speakership.

Why?

Because he can’t control the outcome.

So he is electing to stick around for a while until he and his cronies can get the result they want.

I think there are some of the Establishment RINO types that truly don’t understand why we despise them.

The only thing They should be wondering about is why wouldn’t we?

It’s Time to Get Tough with Putin!

The United States can no longer sit back and Tolerate the Blatant Disregard of the Rules the World has set Forth.

We know that Civilized Countries recognize War, and Brute Force, to be Outdated Methods of Communication.

We, as Citizens of The World, decided that Compromise and Common Purpose is what guides us in all our Endeavors. Of Course we understand that occasionally any one of us may become Confused or Feel Misunderstood.  Which brings us to today.

That circumstance has presented itself with Vladimir Putin.

It feels like Some Men just Can’t be Reached…

But President Putin is simply Misunderstood, he is lashing out because of his frustration. We need to reach out to him and bring him back into the Common Fold of Communal Understanding. We need to be ready with Open Arms upon his Return to the International Brotherhood of Man.

But until that time it’s clear that Mr. Putin requires some Tough Love.

So the following is my plan that the Obama Administration may employ.  It reflects the Hardline tactics the Current Administration has employed in the past when dealing with those who stray too far from the Common Goal.

The 10 actions for Immediate Implementation:

1.  The United States must triple the number of Rubles in the Russian Monetary Supply so the common people can realize the benefit of a burgeoning Economy which always results.

2.  The United States must create and administer a Public Service Campaign using Icons such a Man in Pajamas and Kittens to establish a relationship with the Common Russian Citizen and demonstrate doing what we want them to… is nice.  And We’re Serious.

3.  The United States should let the Russian People know that we will stop recording all of their phone calls… but not their e-mail, text messages and internet surfing habits.  We can give Mr. Putin credit so he can build up his reputation with his people.

4.  We should ask Mr. Putin who his political enemies are and once identified send our Professional IRS agents over to consult on how to effectively target them.

5.  If Mr. Putin insists on annexing just a few more countries we should send over our best BATFE agents to help coordinate the sale and transfer of firearms in order to create a reasonable case for incursion by the Russian Military.  We could even offer to up-arm the Bratva if Mr. Putin thinks it’s to his benefit.  That organization alone could provide a substantial number of votes not to mention voter loyalty inside and outside Russia’s borders.  They might even be persuaded to conduct voter registration as organizations like them have done here in the US for decades.

6.  We must set up a Twitter account for Mr. Putin so Citizens of the World can hear him.  Communication is the Cornerstone of Understanding.  And Concise Communication is always preferred when outlining Complex Ideas.  #Onebadasssoviet

7.  We can send over our other Best Practices such as wantonly Spending Taxpayer Dollars on Green Energy Companies doomed to Fail but Owned by Major Political Contributors, and Government Imposed Education which requires More and More of the Citizens money every year while providing Lower and Lower test Scores… but keeps Union Money heading his direction with no Accountability!

8.  In exchange we can ask Mr. Putin for advice in dealing with our Second Amendment Problem and how He might remove Guns from Citizens without Amending a Constitution.

9.  We can further support Mr. Putin’s Economy and the Choices His Citizens have. We would do this by Taking Over Russia’s Health Care System.  We can show them how to set up a semi-functional website to Facilitate the Process.  I understand there’s a number of Eastern European programmers who would be willing to build it pro-bono.  They were apparently involved in the construction of ours…

10.  And Finally Our Leaders can meet for a sit-down Dinner somewhere in Europe  where They could present Him with the other Bust of Winston Churchill with a collection of Cassette Tapes encompassing all of President Obama’s Speeches and Audio Books from 3rd Grade on.  Having a full belly, and some gifts, always lends to a Happier and more Congenial Environment in which to talk out our Problems.  If all this Fails to create a break-through… start with the Keg Stands.

As a note to the Obama Administration, please feel free to use any, or all, of these suggestions without hesitation.  I require no acknowledgement of any kind…

Just Appear to Care

After Listening to Rep. Renee Ellmers’, a TEA Party candidate when she Won her Seat, go above and beyond to defend Amnesty for Illegal Aliens it caused me to think a little bit more about this issue and a much, much Larger One.

First, The push back Ellmers received should be a wake-up call for all those who courted, and received, TEA Party support when winning their seats.

Just because you ran and won as a TEA Party Candidate does Not Mean You Get a Pass when it comes to representing those who voted for you.  This is a NEW DAY in politics.  You should expect to be Held Accountable for your Actions once in office.  I realize this concept is completely foreign to the modern political class, but how did Nancy Pelosi put it?  Oh, right… “Embrace the Suck”.

It is long past due to put “Representative” back into Representative Republic.  And that Folks is Why the TEA Party is Hated by every Democrat and 80% of the Current Republican Party.

Second, I have tapped about this in the past.  Le Gran Mentira goes a long way to explain our Relationship with Mexico as well as Is Mexico Responsible for Anything?.

So I’ll leave that alone and you can read those by clicking on the links… if you care.

But there seems to be some Additional Confusion being suffered by those Republicans who are currently supporting Amnesty… or whatever name they are giving it so they can avoid calling it what it is.

It is no secret that the various Chambers of Commerce nationwide tend to represent Small and Medium Business’.  And, it should go without saying that they are logically “pro-business”.  At least one would Hope unless something has Changed.

So one might ask, Why when unemployment is Extremely High (gaming of the unemployment numbers can’t even provide a good rate at this point) would the various Chamber’s want to import 20 Million New Workers into the U.S and hand them Citizenship with all its commiserate rights?

Well here’s why…

These Business Owners live under the illusion that a large immigrant population here “legally” will be working for the low wages the illegal workers are working for now.

This leap of logic is beyond comprehension, but that’s what’s driving this push from the Chamber’s, and the Small and Medium Businesses, who support this push.

It’s Ignorance on a Profound level.

(Do you remember in grade school when you had mastered addition?  When 2+2=4 became easy?  When suddenly your teacher gave you problems that had more than one number in them… so 2+2+9=?… and you thought it was really hard?  Too many of us never quite got past that way of thinking and never learned to solve those problems. (It’s 12 by the way.  I got the problem from a Common Core math assignment.  But don’t worry, You get partial credit for just trying.)  Experience has taught me you don’t have to be smart to own a business… this may just be more proof.)

The only result of allowing a huge influx of what can only be considered citizens into the United States is an explosion of Union Members as well as new Leftist Voters.  That’s it.

Well, that’s not quite “it”.  There will also be an Explosion of new Welfare Recipients…

…which is why as a Libertarian Type I stray from the Doctrine and do Not support Open Borders.  The Poison Pill of Entitlement’s for those who do not work or Overburden Society by being rewarded for mortgaging other people’s productivity destroys the opportunity to throw the borders open to all who want to come and go at their leisure.  The fact our safety net has become a Day Care prevents us from exploring what would otherwise be a terrific chapter in our history.

Also take into account, We Already have illegals Voting in Elections across the U.S.  We already have illegals taking Welfare from this country.

Can we afford to elect More People who will simply accelerate this?  Can we afford to support legislation that promotes this because we were never good a math and it just sounds so nice?

Because that’s what we’re doing.

But all of this brings us to a much larger Issue.

If there is any doubt left in your mind that the Establishment Republicans and the Democrats are the same, makeaneffort at reason.

Amnesty:  Supported by Democrats.  Supported by Establishment Republicans.

IRS Targeting:  Supported by Democrats.  Becoming clear it is also Supported by Establishment Republicans.

NSA Domestic Spying:  Supported by Establishment Republicans.  Becoming clear it is also Supported by Democrats… so long as it doesn’t happen to them.  Right Diane Feinstein?

Obama Care:  Supported by Democrats.  Supported by Establishment Republicans.  (This Alone should serve as a warning.  Obama Care is the single most destructive Legislation we have seen in most of our lifetimes.  You can’t “Fix” Stupid.  It the ACA is Stupid.)

Spending us into Oblivion:  Supported by Democrats.  Supported by Establishment Republicans.

Militarizing DHS:  Supported by Establishment Republicans.  Supported by Democrats.

Government Enforced Wage Rates:  Supported by Democrats.  Becoming clear they are also Supported by Establishment Republicans.

What should you take away from this?

Both Political Parties have become so accustomed needing only the Appearance of Caring in order to get Elected that all connection to our Founding Ideology has been severed.  Now the only philosophy which remains is Socialism… on all sides… or rather, just one side.

It’s time for the Political Revolution we are witnessing right before our eyes.

The fact we take it seriously is reflected in our holding people like Ryan and Ellmers’ feet to the fire.

The Waiting is Over.

Is America Profiling Middle Eastern Men

What was once considered anathema to a civilized society by the Left is now the new standard upon which we can start killing people.

Why is President Obama profiling Bashar Al-Assad?  Where is the ACLU when you need them?  If Bashar was trying to get on an airplane would the criteria be the same?

Well darn it… if we’re pretty confident that it’s most likely, then let’s start dropping bombs on them.

The current Administration’s approach to Syria continues to defy reason.

But when you’re a Liberal, who needs reason?

Yes, no debate there.  (Ignore the paradox of our actions in the Middle East and the loss of children’s lives.)

A quick review of hot spots around the world presents over 150 active areas of conflict where men, women and CHILDREN are being killed.  Right now.

If this is now the threshold we are using to get involved in violent conflicts world over it is going to be a busy few years.  It will also be expensive in terms of man and material… not to mention money, all of which we are short of.  But that aside, it would be a genuinely historic launch of the very “American Imperialism” the Left has accused their opposition of for decades.  This is the work of policeman… unless there is a national interest I am unaware of.  Bueller?   Bueller?  Anyone?

Progressives have gotten away with saying whatever you want to hear for 100 years.  The problem they now face is our memories have been enhanced by the ability to store and retrieve information.  (LexisNexis)  Don’t think that this is a lesson lost on them, or only known to the NSA.  They are feeling the pain of their previously successful manipulation of the American public.  It’s tough for a John Kerry to state in his monotone drone that he didn’t say something he knows he indeed said when 30 seconds later some jackass like me finds it and posts it for all to see.  If there were ever a revolution that could be pointed to in 100 years from now it is that.  (The Media has lost editorial control over what information you see… and they HATE it.)

What you are watching is a direct result of Elitists in control.

The mindset is that you are too stupid to understand so those who deem themselves superior to you don’t owe you the truth.  They honestly believe that even if you were told the truth you wouldn’t get it anyway.  So sit down, shut up and vote the way they tell you to.  Otherwise they’ll have their comedians on the late night shows make fun of you, and their friends in the media take every opportunity to make you look foolish.  Get it!  Good.

Well here we are.

Another military adventure in the Middle East… and this one isn’t even for Oil.

Has anyone asked the question “Why are we not targeting Bashar directly, or at a minimum his command and control staff?”

(And frankly, what better way to get some quick defections and degrade Syria’s war fighting capability.)

If “A lesson” needs to be taught, to Whom are you teaching it?  The Chemical Weapons didn’t launch themselves.  The WMDS didn’t decide of their own volition to kill 1200 people.  There are plenty of these weapons being made as I tap this out.  They’re not going away anytime soon… so what is really going on?

If the evidence is unequivocal… sorry… if we’re pretty confident… then why not just come out and present it to the public?  What possible security concern could exist?  Why the need to keep all of the briefings behind closed doors?  I understand the protection of assets… but this was done right out in the open.  I’m “pretty confident” that this is a straight forward use of banned weapons.  Or it’s at least “likely”.  Or is it as clear as that?

Let’s see what kind of Constitution they decide to put in place.

Sadly they have learned the lesson that Democracy is not the Answer first hand.

Let’s see if they opt for a Constitutionally Limited Democratic Republic.

Black and Gray

The Colors of Soft Revolution.

I have often written regarding Capitalism being the Default State of Economics.

Capitalism is a response to Statist Governing Theories which finds “communal” rights to all wealth and the labor that creates it.

Are we seeing the emergence of Black and Gray in the United States?  Or, at least, are we seeing it at a level that will attract government attention?

If the United States were indeed a “Capitalist” Economy, how could we be seeing an “increase” in Capitalism?  The Foubdersdesigned the country to embrace Free-Market Trade as our economic model because it preserves Individual Freedom and our Natural Right to Personal Property.  So what happened?  I will leave you with that question… since everything I have posted over the last year relates to the answer one way or another.  My mission today is to communicate an observation.

We have witnessed the rise of this phenomena for a several years now… as have others… and others.  But the tipping point will be when Underground Markets receive vocal attention from those occupying office, be it our representatives or bureaucrats in the IRS.  It will be couched in “fairness” and called “tax evasion“.  If you use cash, you will be colored a criminal.  Accept it, or spend it… it will not matter.

The War on Black and Gray markets goes back as far as governments have taxed through force…  Those who believe all things good are bestowed upon the citizens from those in government have long fought with the general population attempting to destroy any free-trade residing in the shadows which protects it from taxation.  It has even been proposed ridding society of physical “money” that has historically served to replace direct trade of commodities and serves to make wealth more “elastic”.  Please refer again to the Classic, and Mandatory, Read for any intellectually curious person; Economics in One Lesson.

So why is this important?

The importance lies in the fact that increase in such activity is nothing less than a Soft Revolution.  And, this Soft Revolution appears to be on the rise in the U.S.

What is interesting is that even those who profess to support the idea that all things good come from government also are participating in this activity… which illustrates to me their state of denial and dissonance in which they stumble through their lives.

But that aside, the rise of Black and Gray Markets, or “Underground Economies” is the first step.  It’s the first step in a direction of turmoil.  It’s the first step, when formally recognized by “those in charge” and who have deemed themselves the “right” to your productivity leads to ever-increasing oppression using the tools of government… otherwise known as force.  Watch for a “War” being declared on such activity by the government.  It will be impossible to ignore.

I am not passing judgement on those who do, or do not, use cash to pay for things.  I’m simply observing and in turn publicizing a moment in time which has been repeated throughout history.  A phase that many of us don’t recognize because we lack that historical frame of reference.

The legal avoidance of taxes, even the illegal evasion of them, by an ever-growing percentage of the population does not portend well for what is in store.  It’s not just “the rich”… it’s everybody.

It starts Soft… and gets Harder.

In the end, we all stand to get screwed.

“Dictatorship” is such a divisive word.

I won your hearts by over a third.

So I’m not one of those as you suppose… you voted for me, democratically.

Of course with that small formality out fo the way,

Now you just have to do what I say.

Else…

I might “detain” you, and do things to you where nobody can see. I might “disappear” you late one night, or “deport” you while keeping your family filled with fright.

Or, I might let you off in a more “Western” style with the use of forms and file, and just take all of your property by means of tax and levy… but you should know whatever I may choose, the West will smile at my enlightened approach to handling you.

I am not a Theocrat either, so don’t say such things. I support tolerance for all the forms of Islamic Practicing. I have learned this is best from your Secularists who cheer my approach of handling Allah’s followers without so much as a coach.

I am not afraid, there is no man from which I cower. I support the right of my opposition to protest my declared power. I have given them this right and all that comes with it, as long as they’re smart and don’t step in it… I’ll allow them this luxury with never a limit. This is a lesson the West is learning from me… and they smile with glee at my enlightened approach to handling those who believe… they are free.
