For those of you who have not been paying attention to this latest episode of No Boots on the Ground (Kinda) let me point something out.
In an unprecedented breach, multiple Generals have come forward to criticize the Obama Administration’s approach to ISISISILALQEADA in the Middle East.
This happened three days ago… just before the bombing started.
It takes weeks to create a plan to bomb Bad Guys. So these Men who came forward had knowledge of the Presidents Plan for Syria, and Iraq, yet came forward ANYWAY.
This can mean only one thing.
These Military Professionals do not believe the bombing of large sandy areas will do anything meaningful to our supposed enemies. These Men knew what was afoot, and know it is political posturing lacking substance. They know from experience that you cannot destroy an Idea from the air.
It will however make for fun video of bright rocket launches taken at night and large explosions.
And, this will provide ample opportunity for the White House to make frequent trips to the closest podium and hope the networks interrupt their current programming with their empty, undefined and intentionally difficult to understand statements.
All crafted as a cheap way to get the U.S. Masses to feel placated. If things go south… will we hear a demand to put journalists on the ground to ‘cover the human toll’ war ravaged countries endure? Flag draped coffins anyone? With a Progressive Liberal in Office? Of course not.
But then again, this is the Smartest Man to have ever been President. He must know what he’s doing… in all things.
So maybe, unlike Bill Clinton’s Tomahawk Diplomacy, this bombing will be a brilliant solution none of us ‘unwashed’ are intelligent enough to understand.
I’ve been wrong before.
But let me ask… Why did we Leave?

I’ve long held that the Iraq War was about three things.
2. Containing Iran
3. Saddam Hussein’s Declaration he had and was going to use Weapons of Mass Destruction
Right or Wrong, that’s how I saw it.
The U.S. public has been deluged by criticism from the Left, and their Media, regarding the Iraq War, claiming no Weapons of Mass Destruction were ever found. This relentless onslaught was never subdued by the fact that Saddam had used these Weapons in the War with Iran and on his on citizens. It was also never tempered by the fact that the Intelligence for Saddam’s intent was International. (Backed up by no less than 5 International Intelligence Services… and supported by every office holder in Congress except the only Honest Socialist Bernie Sanders.)
Now we are about to see what would have happened had the United States not gone into Iraq.
1. Energy Prices – will they Sky Rocket? (‘necessarily’ as our President has put it.)
2. Will Iran make a run westward? (Yesterday’s reports indicate they are on the move.)
3. Will a Caliphate be established that has Nuclear Capabilities and has shown its innate Hostility to the West compounded by its wish to use whatever means available to it to conduct overt War on The West… The Infidels?
Things are moving fast now.
Nature abhors a vacuum. And it tends to fill it quickly with whatever it can. The United States has created the fertile ground for Theocratic Statism. We have set the stage for Socialism with God at the Top instead of the State to rush in with all it’s Malevolence.
We will be witness to the Mass Oppression, Destruction and Death which always accompany such unchecked, Elitist Ideology.
And… it will be our fault, because we allowed those who hold similar ideas take the reins of power here in the United States.
The excuses from the ‘gentler’ Statists in control of the United States will be Loud and Repeated Often…
“Did you expect us to be there forever? We must respect their sovereignty, religious and social norms.” (We’re still in Germany… and Japan.)
“Our Presence serves only to inspire more Terrorists to become… well… Terrorists.”
“You cannot help those who are not willing to help themselves.”
On the Last one I agree. But forcing our help onto others was never included in my list of reasons to be there. I looked at it only as added value for them if they wanted it… it was not the mission.
Because any Mission of Forced ‘Charity’ will always fail as it has Always Failed… at home and abroad.
It appears we are Now simply making sure our investment in Blood and Treasure… Mothers and Fathers… Sons and Daughters… Disfigurement and Pain… is for Nothing.
All because we refused to be Honest about why we went to Iraq. All because we were afraid it would sound ‘mean spirited’ and ‘heartless’ to those on the Left.
All because of Politics.
We have now allowed our homegrown Socialists to Engineer and Oversee yet another Triumph Forsaken.
And we’ve allowed them to once again blame it on the rest of us.
Because it is our fault.
At what point do the rest of us stop caring about what those on the Progressive Socialist Left think?

This doesn’t deserve more than a few lines.
During this mornings “sudden” press conference President Obama said that individuals should be judged on their accomplishments not their sexual orientation.
Good so far.
President Obama then went on to say that Jason Collins was a “Hero” for openly declaring he is a homosexual.
This is where we part ways in regard to intellectual consistency.
Being Homosexual is not an achievement. It is no more a “goal reached” than being heterosexual. He did not “overcome” being a heterosexual… nor did he spend years training for this day. It’s no different from ones skin color, height, hair color or parents. You had nothing to do with it. It’s not an achievement, it simply is.
President Obama might have said Jason Collins was “brave” for coming out considering the apparent anti-gay sentiment which we are finding out permeates Professional Sports… (The only aspect of this story I find mildly interesting, as I was unaware of the level of disdain held by some.) but “Hero” is a bit much. Declaring oneself “gay” is nothing new. Frankly, it’s the “declaring” that is obnoxious. When a person comes “out of the closet” there should be no one in the room to see it… in other words, no one should care.
Assigning “Hero” status to an individual due to something he had nothing to do with is disgusting. There was no “choice” in the matter for Jason. If there was “choice” involved… and deciding to be homosexual was somehow an extremely difficult choice to make and by doing so elevated him to role model status then I will stand corrected. Do we assign “Hero” status because one is born a Man? Woman? Black? Chinese? In New York? In Wichita? On a Sunday? At noon standard time? These are all things you have no choice in.
I have mentioned before that intellectual consistency must be suspended in order to subscribe to Liberal agenda items. This is yet another example.
President Obama is losing his friends. He is losing his power. He is panicking as he watches the potency of his Presidency wane quickly into his second term. This pandering is just a symptom of the greater disease.
I’m sure Jason is a fine person. I will judge his ultimate status by his accomplishments on and off the court… not by who he chooses to sleep with.
Can we move on now?
We all have more important issues at hand.
The Left has a country to destroy…
The rest of us have a country to save.
Jason Collin’s sexuality has nothing to do with saving this country, any more than mine does.
So let’s talk about the same Press Conference where President Obama once again laments the existence of Guantanamo Prison. His prison. His prison he has not closed yet. His prison he promised to close his first day in office which supposedly led many people to vote for him. His prison he yet again “wishes” were closed but failed to do so immediately after this stupid press conference. He is the Commander-in-Chief who is in control of this prison he hates so much.
Or… let’s talk about the use fo chemical weapons in Syria… or the complete abandonment of our diplomats in Benghazi who were left to die… or the sky rocketing costs of Obama Care… or Radical Islamic Terror on our shores…
