Death Rattle

Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are witnessing a historic moment on the History of the United States.
It has become clear the immensity of this episode is only going to become greater before it is over.
To understand what you’re seeing we must go back to 1960.
A large part of the 12-24 year old 1960 population figured out there was power in collective screaming. They learned to champion causes only some of which they understood.  They forged their identity in protest and labeled themselves the ‘counter-culture’. They cast away the societal norms the likes of Family, Religion and Americanism. They elevated themselves above all the “ignorant masses” who clung to those time-tested ideas and began a decades long mantra reminding themselves of their superiority. They sought positions where they could administer an intentionally subjective ‘fairness’ of their own varying definition.  They learned how to feel powerful.  When they looked in the mirror they saw the faces of the Deciders… the Administrators… the Philosopher Kings.
Now fast forward to 2016.
These same individuals are at least 67-years old, some are much, much, older.  (Yes… there are young ones, but they lack that romantic view of having ‘done something important’.  They lack a perceived legacy which is now under threat. They lack the same investment while sacrificing all of the other evolutionary rites and rituals society previously valued.)
These Aging Leftists are now finding themselves with no real Family, no real God and no real Understanding of the Greatest Experiment in Self Government the World has ever known.  Now they have watched the election of a person they believe is the antithesis of their Socialist Utopia…  and are powerless to stop him from tearing it down.  It’s all they had.

They are old…
They fully realize they may not make it 8 more years…
They have no identity other than those who dismantled the country as the Founders intended it to be…
They have no investment other than a war to create a Socialist Utopia, which they thought they had won long ago…
They see their lives as meaningless…  They are desperate…  They feel cornered…

We are witnessing the Death Rattle of a Mass Existential Crisis… a forced confrontation of what for most of them is the meaninglessness of their lives.

Be warned, these people are found on both sides of the aisle. Yes they associate more with one, but they know no party exclusively.  Do not underestimate them.  They must be approached with extreme caution…

I’m not kidding.

They are irrational… just as they have been all their lives. They are unreasonable… which is how they learned to secured something they call victory. They are unstable… because their fantasy is being threatened by reality.

It is time to walk softly, but carry a big stick.
It is time to take our country back, but keep one eye open.
It is time to show compassion, but remain firm while the damage we have suffered is repaired.

Tough Love.

In 20 years, the country will have other concerns.

Fixing Ferguson

If you give Fools a Stage they will Perform.

There is a very real issue in Ferguson. In fact, there are several.

First, there is the possibility that a young man was killed by a police officer without cause. There is also the possibility that the young man was killed with cause.

Second, A small group of criminals has decided to use this event to loot and burn businesses.

Third, a gathering of Anti-American activists from across the US have found their way to a part of St. Louis they never knew existed.

So what do we do?

We, as Americans, honor the right of those who question the Police… and for that matter the Government… regarding the death of this young man. Agree with those who believe the police killed him in cold blood or not, peaceful display of concern… anger… and pain remain part of our fabric. Remember, contrary to Mrs. Clinton, Dissent is not necessarily Patriotic. The Toleration of Dissent is Patriotic.

To the Second issue of criminal behavior, I would suggest ceasing the non-stop LIVE coverage of night-time protests. If you give Fools a Stage they will perform upon it.

Instead take that energy being expended by the News Media and focus it on those folks who are genuinely concerned about their community and their relationship with authorities… during the day. They merit the stage far more than the criminals.

Finally, there is never a reason to give Anti-American Activists a platform. THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE to FREEDOM AND LIBERTY OF THE INDIVIDUAL which is the opposite of what these Socialist organizers want to convey. If they were serious about their supposed concerns regarding Human Rights they would be busy is IRAQ, or myriad other places like China etc..  Instead they focus their efforts on the Freest country on Earth.  And the Safest for them to posture, and promote their Progressive Utopia.

The reason they are not confronting areas of real crimes against humanity is because they are far more concerned with promoting their Socialist agenda. They should be ignored.

These simple changes might not drive News ratings…

But they would put the focus back where it should be.

The voices that need to be heard would be heard.

Lives could be saved.

And the Federal Government could go back to DC where it belongs.

The New Enemies List.

It’s time to stop playing nice.
We, as a country, are being played for fools. We are being assaulted by one of the most corrupt governments since the Nixon Administration… and we seem not to care.
Where are the protests?  Where are the dirty hippies with misspelled signs demanding the ouster of hated Politicians?  Where is Occupy… oh wait, none of them pay taxes and would never belong to a group with the word patriot or constitution in it. Never mind.

Regardless… It’s time to take a lesson from the guy Hillary wrote her Thesis on.

Apparently FOX and CBS are naming names in regard to reporters that have had their e-mail and personal correspondence hacked… BY OUR GOVERNMENT.

But I want the names of the 100 AP reporters.  Each and every one.  I want to make this personal and relatable to every American no matter their politics.

Put faces on this Government Intimidation!

For once… there is a legitimate issue that deserves to be treated as “Us vs. Them”!

For the last year we have had to defend the Second Amendment while this Administration has blatantly trampled on the First one.  It is appalling, and frightening, and worthy of serious review combined with serious punishment.

This is Third World Socialist behavior.  The Obama Administration has made comments about Banana Republics several times over the last 5 years… I didn’t realize they were referring to themselves.

The Targets have chosen themselves; the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service.

Tyranny is frozen as the issue at hand.

It is personalized in every news reporters name and face, as well as every group targeted for fiscal destruction.

It is time to polarize the issue as the free people versus big government force and intimidation.

For all you old Abby Hoffman types out there, what’s the difference between what you are seeing now and Nixon’s Enemies List?  You’re all over thirty now… so I guess it doesn’t matter what you think because we can’t trust you anyway.

“Spontaneous” Anger

Yesterday our Ambassador to Libya and three embassy personnel were killed while trying to move to safer ground.

The 3 staffers were shot to death while the “protesters” got close enough to our Ambassador to suffocate him.  (I know our home-grown “Radical” Evangelical Christians do this kind of stuff everyday…but disregard that for the moment…)
Reading the stories this morning you might believe that spontaneous rioting occurred due to the purported filming of a movie not friendly to the Prophet Mohammed.  Not only that, but the fact that there is even a “reason” (read: excuse) offered by the press seems to warrant such an attack and execution of American citizens abroad.

The reality is these riots broke out yesterday… (Do I really have to remind anyone that yesterday was 9/11.) and large-scale riots across multiple countries such as Egypt and Libya take coordination.  The planning and preparation alone for these riots indicate the Arab spring may not have been such a brilliant endorsement by our diplomatic corp.

There is nothing “spontaneous” about it…
This comes on the heals of our President refusing to meet with the Prime Minister of Israel in just a couple of weeks and instead opting for an interview on The Late Show with David Letterman. I’ve personally seen Letterman twice and know how enjoyable Dave can be, but unless Quebec is melting down into an apocalyptic firestorm and only Paul Schaffer can stem the tide of total destruction, I would rethink my priorities.

But considering our President does not seem to prioritize like the rest of us it leads me to some questions;
Could it be that our current President has already decided he has lost the upcoming election? Could it be that he is tired of this job? Has he realized that his election almost 4-years ago was more style than substance and the voters did not endorse his vision of what the United States should look like? So, in the end… could he be asking himself “why should he care?”

(I started to think about this a couple of years ago when the number of trips, parties and golf outings increased exponentially while his attendance to cabinet meeting and briefings decreased at the same rate… it kind of felt like there was a concerted effort to get in as much “fun” as possible before they had to leave.)

So about those stupid Middle East Analysts…  and many Conservatives…
Yes, the crazies out there who warned that a Caliphate was on the immediate agenda of Islamic Radicals like the Muslim Brotherhood.  The same crazies who have been roundly chastised by our media may be correct after all… which leaves the question, will the media collectively apologize to these folks who saw it coming and sounded the warnings?  No, probably not.  But the press’ “go to” plan of action of ignoring the issue altogether when they get things profoundly wrong  will not work this time.
They will not be able to ignore what is happening in the Middle East… and we should not allow them to ignore how our President’s “best intentions” caused this the way they have been allowed to ignore how the “best intentions” of Clinton, Dodd and Frank destroyed the global economy setting the stage for this most recent out of control spiral in the Mediterranean.

There will be an attempted re-write of this chapter in history… we can’t accept that.  But make no mistake, the pencils are being sharpened as I type this.

So what is the truth?  Obama ran in front of this parade and took credit for it.  Ultimately you will find that your tax dollars subsidized a large part of it, and still does.  WE have allowed this to happen because WE refuse to recognize that politics is the most important thing in our lives immediately following taking care of ourselves.

Obama is a symptom of our complacency, and if you have ever uttered the words “all that political stuff doesn’t really effect me” you are watching first hand how it does, in fact, effect you.

If need be, set the beer down.  Then turn on a news cycle and make an effort to pay attention… for the rest of your life.  For the rest of us.
