In an interview today (Sunday) Attorney General Loretta Lynch refuses to allow Omar Mateen to proudly self-identify.
We have seen plenty of this kind of behavior as of late. The ugliness of those who wish to deny others the Freedom of being who they are is rampant. It is particularly disturbing when the Leader of the Free World and his Staff behave in the same way and feel entitled to do so. It’s enough to make one physically ill.
Who is Loretta Lynch to tell this man what He is any more than telling Bruce Jenner who He is, or Rachel Dolezal who She is, or Elizabeth Warren that She’s not Native American and imply she should have to give the scholarships back so those genuine minorities who really need that expensive education can get it? Who does She think She is? It doesn’t matter what the definition of ‘Is’ is. ‘Is’ is what He knows it to Be. The Administration is attempting to rob this man of his self-esteem, to rob him of his identity, to rob him of his very being, and they are doing it in the most insidious way… omission.
Witness Attorney General Lynch when she states that the 911 calls made by Omar Mateen will be heavily redacted to exclude his Proud Proclamations associated with his Religion:
“What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda,” Lynch said. “We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State].”
Combine this overt Bigotry with the Obama Administrations seemingly pointless, if not oddly gratuitous, bombing of Muslim Nations and the Strange Pride the President exhibits when a human life is suddenly snuffed out by his Drone Program… One must wonder what other kinds of Religious Bigotry is practiced behind the closed white doors of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Now the President of The United States refuses to allow this proud man to claim before the world his devotion to Islam.
If we don’t stand up for those who feel they have no voice, if we don’t teach ourselves tolerance of those who are unlike us, and demonstrate understanding that it is our differences which make us strong, if we don’t embrace the culture of others what will this world be like?
Every Human should be able to determine Who They Are without derision poured upon them through such intolerant behavior as is being shown by President Obama and his Attorney General. It is the worst kind of Bigotry. It is the soft censorship of an Individual’s Identity.
We Are Who We Are!
We cannot permit Government to try to steal our Humanity!

The Butcher and I have been exchanging some comments which led me to repost my letter to Jenny…
An Open Letter to Jenny McCarthy: 070914 11am
Dear Ms. McCarthy,
I have to confess that I’ve followed your work since the long ago days of burping on Live TV, Playboy and Fart Jokes. But I have paid particular attention to your efforts over the last decade to ‘protect’ children from inoculations which you have decided cause diseases such as, but not limited to, Autism, Asperger’s and Mental Retardation. The energy you have put into your efforts cannot be described as anything less than remarkable.
Because of your success in convincing so many American parents to ‘save’ their children from inoculations I feel compelled to point something out.
As I type this letter hundreds of thousands of children who have arrived in the United States illegally are being inserted into our public school system all over the Nation.
Allow me to restate what I just tapped out;
Hundreds of Thousands of medically unscreened children, some who have already exhibited ailments ranging from Head Lice and Scabies to Measles and TB, are being absorbed into groups of un-inoculated children of parents who believe the things you decided were true.
For that matter, Ms. McCarthy, there may even be some of those same parents… and Teachers… who abide by your understanding and interpretation of medical science.
With that in mind it then becomes relevant that the CDC (Center for Disease Control) has seen it necessary to quietly install, and bolster existing, emergency response centers across the nation because of the influx of the aforementioned illegal, unscreened, sick children.
I was hoping to appeal to your sense of caring for others by asking you to create a Mailing Address which the above parents, teachers and soon to be infected children can send their thanks. In addition I would hope you could find a vehicle, possibly those microphones and magazine pages you utilized to campaign for anti-inoculations, to let the public know where to send their letters of appreciation.
I have Complete Faith you will do the Right Thing.
Appropriate Regards, Mike

Hat Tip to Twitchy… Don’t try that line at your next audit.
From our latest IRS Commissioner who if it wasn’t for his Profoundly Smug Demeanor he would have No Redeeming Qualities comes this:
“Whenever we can, we follow the law.” – John Koskinen (The Progressive Elitist IRS Commissioner)
Well OK then!
I’ll be sure to keep a copy of that quote for my next inquiry from the Internal Revenue Service.
As someone pointed out in the twitchy article, We would like to know when can’t you follow the law… and for what reason?
Why do we tolerate these people?
Why do we kowtow before them?
We do we allow them to keep us in fear?
It’s time to put a bunch of these people in jail.
Do you think they would hesitate to do it to you if you ‘lost’ all of your e-mail and hard drives? Lied… repeatedly about who was involved in illegal activities? You posture in the most pompous and arrogant manner possible when expected to explain yourself?
Of course not.

The men are now asking for a new trial, blaming their lawyers for their convictions. In February, the DOJ disputed their attorney’s claim, saying there was a “mountain of evidence” that proves the Islamic charity was controlled by Hamas.)
“I was fairly specific to make sure that I got the documents that the Department of Justice handed over to people convicted of supporting terrorism. They’re terrorists. We’ve given them the documents,” Gohmert said. Gohmert said the committee sent the Justice Department repeated requests for the documents that had been used to prosecute them but were only provided a link to “nearly 500 publicly available exhibits that were admitted into evidence” and instructed “to check the public access to court electronic records.” Meanwhile, the requested documents were “put on discs and sent to Illinois,” so they are easily available – “just not to members of Congress,” Gohmert said.
“Attorney General, I’ve read in the 5th Circuit opinion, about 9600 summaries of transcripts of conversations that the Justice Department had that were made available to attorneys for the terrorists,” Gohmert said. “I still do not understand why your department can provide documents to terrorists’ lawyers, and many of them to four out of eight of the terrorists, and not provide them to members of Congress.” “Sir, I’ve read you what your department promised, and it is inadequate, and I realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight,” Gohmert said.
Holder: “You don’t want to go there, buddy. You don’t want to go there, okay?”
Gohmert: “I don’t want to go there?”
Holder: “No.” Gohmert: “About the contempt?”
Holder: “You should not assume that that is not a big deal to me. I think that it was inappropriate. I think it was unjust, but never think that that was not a big deal to me. Don’t ever think that.”
Gohmert: “Well I’m just looking for evidence, and normally we’re known by our fruits, and there have been no indications that it was a big deal, because your department has still not been forthcoming in producing the documents that were the subject of the contempt.”
Holder: “The documents that we were prepared to make available then, we’re prepared to make available now that would have obviated the whole need. This was all about the gun lobby and a desire to have a—
Gohmert: “Sir, we’ve been trying to get to the bottom of Fast and Furious where people died, where at least a couple hundred Mexicans died, and we can’t get the information to get to the bottom of that, so I don’t need lectures from you about contempt, because it is very difficult to deal with asking questions.”
Holder: “And I don’t need lectures from you either.”
Gohmert: “As a former judge, I’d never have asked questions of someone who’s been held in contempt. We waited ‘til the contempt was purged, and then we asked questions.”

So either AG Holder and Congressman Louie Gohmert are “Buddies” or Eric Holder is an Arrogant A-Hole. May be both.
Hmmm…
Considering We the People wish to see Lois Lerner of IRS Targeting Political Enemies Fame placed in Contempt… it’s worth wondering what power that charge actually has?
If you’re found guilty of Contempt of Congress such as Eric Holder has been, So What?
I’m pretty sure I would be put in Jail.
I guess if you’re associated with Government, you become Buddies. You also Demonstrate for all of us out here Who still Give a Crap that you’re Above the Law.
And when You’re the one in charge of Enforcing the Law where does that leave us?

What do you say about the self-proclaimed “Most Transparent Administration in History” when you find out they are spying on American Citizens who have done nothing other than go about their lives?
If you found a way to defend that…
Then what do you say when you find out that the few, pathetic, rules restricting the access and use of the private information collected by the NSA were removed in 2011 by that same “Most Transparent Administration in History”?
Well… they did. Full Story: Here
I must confess that I am not surprised…
The story held nothing that I haven’t already accepted to be true.
So why am I posting this?
It was a comment. A small comment. A comment that must be addressed.

Does the US Constitution mean anything anylonger? Seems like so many of our elected officials have taken a pair of scissors and cut out sections they don’t like of it leaving it in a cut up pile on the floor. Change has been brought to us, I am not sure many like it however.
The short answer to your question as to whether the US Constitution means anything any longer, JonQCit is «No». Then we could have a lengthy discussion about how long it’s been this way ; my suggestion would be at least since very soon after WW II, when the US government begain initiating and/or participating in foreign wars without the Congress, as is its duty under Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, declaring war (the last time the US Congress declared war was on 5 June 1942 on Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania ; how many years has the US been at peace since that time ?)…

job, it’s the people fault, we have become so ideology driven we can’t see what’s happening right in front of us. (emphasis mine)
just read some comments, we have a government that is spying on us, they have reversed restrictions secretly and people still defend them, that’s why we have these problems.
It’s not JonQCit’s rhetorical question or mhenriday’s assertion. It was the product of our government schools, maifgm, that made me feel sad.
I’m going to assume that maifgm meant “ideologically” when making his statement.
While I don’t disagree with the problems he identifies, it is not being driven by ideology which has brought us here unless he is speaking of Socialism.
In fact, it is the abandonment of Ideology and the rise of Compromise which have handed the Socialists their greatest victories. It is exactly the Spirit of Compromise which handed them
maifgm and probably the friend
maifgm drinks with. It is
Bipartisanship, the Why Can’t We All Get Along mentality, that is happening right in front of us.
Depending on maifgm’s age I might not dump ton’s of derision upon his head… I suspect everything he thinks sounds nice with a little ecstasy and a techno music bed, but it is an illustration of profoundly confused thought. It is the absence of critical thinking that must be corrected everywhere we look. First with ourselves, then with our friends… particularly those we drink with.
Ideology is the answer.
Free-Market Capitalism is the only Ideology which protects us from Tyranny.
It’s time we embrace it.
If you don’t think so, I suspect you too are a product of our Government Schools and the intentional confusion they were paid to administer upon you. But don’t feel bad because you’re not alone.
Because maifgm is right on one important point, “it is the people’s fault”.
However, it’s now up to you to correct it.

Both have taxpayer-funded Liberal officials trying to suppress the “Why” it happened.
It is a fact that the State Department is not interested in discussing the “Why” behind Benghazi. Hilary Clinton said as much and John Kerry has reiterated her sentiments. Witnesses have been hidden from the press, and Administration officials have derided the press for even asking. The position, as stated by Hilary Clinton, is… “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?” Yes… what does it matter if we have adopted a stance which leaves our Diplomatic personnel hanging out to dry?
But the efforts to suppress the “Why” behind the Newtown shooting has not received much coverage. According to the Washington Post, a bill being quietly pushed through the Connecticut Legislature would allow the victims to decide what information would be made public regarding the event. While this is being couched under the auspices of “Victims Rights”, and the public is being told it is primarily concerning the crime scene photo’s… it would include all aspects of the case. In other words, it would include any notes, ledgers, e-mail, websites, etc. It would basically prevent anyone from finding the “Why” an arguably disturbed but not unintelligent individual would plan, equip and execute such a horrible crime.
Allow me to be clear. I am not waiting with bated breath to see the crime scene photo’s from Newtown any more than I care to see the crime scene photo’s from Benghazi.
However, I do want to see the correspondence surrounding both events. I do want to see what websites and media young Lanza consumed regularly. I do want to understand who thought it would be a brilliant idea to dig up a stupid video to blame the Benghazi assassination on. I do want to see the scribbling’s of a young man who was seeking… something. I do want to hear from the other survivors of the “spontaneous” consulate attack.
There is truth to be found in both cases… and in both cases there are Liberals attempting to shield it from the light of day.
These types of things make me wonder… “Why”.

And, a myriad other questions along the same lines should have been asked today.
In fact, they should still be there asking them. I’m sure if someone had handed a page a pen you would have a weeks worth of questions for Ms. Lerner to take the Fifth on.
Darrell Issa, should be slapped. Repeatedly. And then again for good measure.
Someone should remind him the IRS has been targeting what this Administration believes is their political opposition. It might be news. However, if the Conservatives are anything like the Democrats, it would be months from now and only then they might see it on CNN.
Sorry for the slurred script… I starting drinking early.

State Dept. Spokeswoman Refuses to Criticize Iran for Excluding Women Candidates from Election
“We want this [election] to be free and fair. There’s a lot of ways to, of course, define that.”
2:01 PM, May 20, 2013 • By DANIEL HALPER
State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki refused to criticize Iran for excluding women candidates from the upcoming “election” there. The remarkable exchange, which concludes with Psaki saying this (“We want this [election] to be free and fair. There’s a lot of ways to, of course, define that.”) happened at Friday’s press briefing.
QUESTION: Jen, can I change the subject? It would seem that in Iran the Guardians Council, which is vetting the candidates for the upcoming elections next month, have decided and have ruled that women cannot contest, they cannot stand as candidates. I wondered what the United States reaction is to that, considering that 50 person of the population in Iran is women – are women.
MS. PSAKI: Well, we don’t take positions on any candidates, as you know, and we hope that the upcoming elections will be free, fair, and transparent and will represent the will of the Iranian people. So we wouldn’t weight into decisions made by the government. Of course, broadly, we hope that women around the world participate in politics and elected office, but beyond that I don’t think I have anything specific for you.
QUESTION: Taking the word “fair” – if you’re being fair, it would seem to exclude 50 percent of the population from an election, would already mean that it is not a fair election.
MS. PSAKI: Well, we don’t weigh in on to the candidates and the candidates that are chosen through the process in Iran. Of course, of course, broadly speaking we do want women to participate in elections around the world and rise up in elected office.
QUESTION: Just not in Iran?
MS. PSAKI: I’m not suggesting that, Arshad. I’m just suggesting that we leave it to the process that happens in Iran for them to pick their candidates.
QUESTION: But I mean why – it seems astounding that this Department – I mean, what if they decided to exclude, as this country once did, not merely women but black people? Would that be acceptable to you? That’s just their choice; they do it any way they want and you’re not going to stand up for democratic rights?
MS. PSAKI: I think we pretty broadly stand up for democratic rights from this building.
QUESTION: Just not for Iranian women, apparently.
MS. PSAKI: That’s not at all what I was conveying. I think there are two separate issues here. Of course, we want women to participate in processes around the world, whether that is participating in voting or being elected to office. Of course. More specifically, in terms of how candidates are selected, we don’t weigh in on specific candidates, of course, as the Government of Iran is picking them. But broadly, yes, we would like women to be participating at every level.
QUESTION: Including in Iran?
MS. PSAKI: Including around the world.
QUESTION: But – no but —
QUESTION: This is not a process. This is a clear case of gender discrimination, no? Isn’t that a difference between a vetting procedure and just saying, “All women no”? I mean, you’ve got to take a stand on something like that.
MS. PSAKI: Again, Brad, I think I made pretty clear – I don’t know that I have much more to add – that of course we have long supported women being elected to office in the United States and around the world and participating in the process. We want this to be free and fair. There’s a lot of ways to, of course, define that. But again, we don’t select or play a role in selecting who the candidates are. We can take a look through the process, and happy to comment once it’s completed.
Psaki is a veteran of the Obama campaign.
Full Weekly Standard Article Here.
Sounds pretty “progressive” doesn’t it?
What do you think we would be hearing from MSNBC, or say The Huffington Post should this have been 2005? Why does it seem impossible for this Administration to present morally clear positions on anything?
This simple answer… as it should always be… is “We Always support the FULL participation of every individual when it comes to their government. This includes being able to participate in the electoral process as well as seeking elected office. While one day we wish that for them, we are not Iran.”
It could have been that easy. At least it would have been for me. However, when everything is relative and truth depends on who you ask and their personal opinion, it is almost impossible. Which is exactly how Progressives want it. It makes being the Decider of what is “Free and Fair” an extremely powerful position to be in.

What are these guys NOT doing!?
ZING!
AP phone records obtained by Obama Administration…
It’s the Headline on Drudge, as it should be.
The Cheerleaders for this Administration have been betrayed!
POW!
Will they let this stand, or will the AP write a series of stories offering how obtaining media phone records is “no big deal”?
Will President Obama hold another press conference trying to re-write history like the one he held today on Benghazi and the IRS oppression while acting angry that he has to have it?
Will Attorney General Holder have to resign… or will he get a raise?
WHAMMO!
Will President Nixon return from the grave and voice his approval of the current Administrations conduct?
Will the Obama Administration just continue doing whatever they want until it just becomes funny and we all give up?
Stayed Tuned…
Same Bat time… Same Bat Channel!
(I know it’s tempting to sit back and laugh at the very people who believed this guy to be a Savior and his Ideology to be Enlightened… but this is beyond the pale and should be a very scary moment for all of us. Is this a genuine Meltdown? Is “Impeach” going to rise on the “most searched term” rankings? At some point the buck can’t stop at everyone else’s desk. You simply don’t bite the hand that feeds you… ZOWIE! )
