Need a Little Help Here… Are the Russians Coming?

While it’s true, I’ve been laying low watching the fire overhead, I am struck by this latest explosion of stupidity.

So, I’m going to untie my fingers.

First I will say, I hate me some Russians. Actually I hate me some Socialists which continues to include Russians.  This is for reasons nobody cares about but I’ve made clear over the years.

That being said, WTF?
Trump goes over to pay a visit to Vlad and our local socialists, our Socialist press and the Never Trump useful idiots go ape sh*t.

The Dems have no option but to continue their attempt to connect Trump with Russian meddling. Why, because they have nothing but good news to get mad about.  AND… they are being forced to be honest about who they are.  Both of the above are not good for their future.  (Did the Russians meddle in the election process? Of course they did. And they will again… just as the Chinese do, the North Koreans do, the Iranians wish they could… etc. etc. Hey dummy, here’s another tidbit, we do it too. And we will continue to do it. What do you think all that money for “Clandestine” services is used for? For you current college students, see if you can find a dictionary and look up ‘clandestine’. ) It is enjoyable however to watch Democrats hate on some Russians.  It’s like a Domestic Abuse episode of Jerry Springer where the wife is beating the crap out of the husband for everyone to see.  It’s funny because it’s purely theater and they don’t really mean it… but they think it makes for good ratings.  (And in the end the wife goes back to the husband.)

The Press is hell-bent on anyone other than Trump heavily flavored by their bizarre love affair of all things Socialist. So they are working diligently to keep the words “Trump” and “Russia” appearing together in every sentence they utter. It’s become boring.  (Has anyone heard anything about Venuzuela lately?  With any frequency?)

The Never Trumpers are desperate to get their power back and reclaim their rightful place in history as the Slave Party to the Democratic Socialists.  Can I get you a Starbucks?

Even the Criticism I’m hearing from those I listen to attentively is odd.

So?

Folks, since when does the President of the United States suffer an obligation to stand behind everything his intelligence services say? Yes… I get it. Better to say nothing at all, but that was not allowed to happen by the Leftist Press… and it never will be allowed to happen when it comes to any Political Leader standing in the way of the the the Press’ Socialist Utopia.  Can you blame them?  What could be better than standing in line for toilet paper… oh right, the Systematic Starvation.  My bad.

Just a note — does anyone here remember when George W. Bush believed his intelligence folks and went after WMDs in Iraq? Seems to my foggy alcohol addled memory that the Leftist a-holes jumped all over him for only finding Chemical Weapons (which actually are WMDs).  Anyone?  Bueller?

The only interesting aspect of this latest Media Destabilization Effort coming from the Trump Administration is who on the Republican side of the aisle is drawing the long knives?

I would watch these people carefully… we have officially entered the Presidential Election Cycle.

I’m crawling back into my hole now.  I have castles on clouds to build.

The Stories They don’t want you to Care About…

Or, Why I Love the Holidays.

I enjoy the Holidays not just for the Overeating and Drinking too much, but for the News. I know… weird, right?

Well, actually the Holidays offer up the News no one wants you to know. If ‘They’ can’t dump the stories on Weekends when you are not paying attention then ‘They’ shoot for the closest Holiday. And no season offers the length and breadth of your ‘not paying attention’ than Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Years. Yeah, the other Holidays are good… but the reigning King remains that time when the old year meets the beginning of the new one.

So if you really like to see what nobody is interested in you seeing, but ‘They’ want to be able to say “We ran That Story!”, scan the news feeds over the last 4-weeks.

You may be amazed.

And you might just join me in my hatred of ‘They’.

Semantics versus Assimilation

I have a tactic I employ when I know that the person I’m speaking with has greater motivation to make me look like an Idiot than they do to Verify their side of an Argument.

I Overstate my side of the Argument.

In other words, If they believe the correct answer is ‘1’ and I know the correct answer is ‘4’, I will state the correct answer is ’10’.

Had I stated it was ‘4’ to begin with the opportunity to make me look stupid just isn’t big enough.  And the person who erroneously believes the answer to be ‘1’ stick with ‘their version of the facts’ with no incentive to verify them.  They simply dismiss me as the ignorant jerk they ‘know’ me to be.

However, when I state the correct answer as ’10’… Whoa!  Now there’s motivation!  They think to themselves, self, can you imagine just how stupid Mike is going to feel when I show him how Wrong his is!?  It’ll be Awesome!

And, when they independently venture out on their quest to Make Mike feel like an Idiot they find out the actual answer is ‘4’… not ‘1’.

What’s interesting about this is initially the person will bring it to my attention because I was STILL WRONG!

After a few times of this however, they stop bringing it to my attention.

Whether they figure out I do it on purpose, or that my Ego is not damaged catastrophically by my being wrong, it doesn’t matter.  They learned something on their own and start doing a bit more investigation before wedding themselves to ‘facts’ provided to them from whatever comedy show they prefer to get their ‘facts’ from.

The above brings us to Ha! Ha! Fox News is Stupid!

As a point of clarification, Fox News IS Stupid.  And so are all the other News Networks.  Some intentionally like NBC when they altered the George Zimmerman 911 call and some unintentionally like MSNBC all the time.

So here’s the the point; Fox News had a contributor on air who stated that France has what are called ‘No Go Zones” where non-muslims are unwelcome and the police do not want to go.  The Fox News Haters picked this up for several reasons.

1.  They think they have caught Fox News in a Lie they convince themselves Fox News exists to tell.  (Keep in mind how I started this post.)

2.  France has No Officially Sanctioned ‘No Go Zones’.  (True.  Nor does any other country to my knowledge.  But that’s not what was said.)

3.  Fox News folks went as far as pointing on maps where these supposed ‘No Go Zones’ are in France.  (They were wrong for the most part.)

The interwebs liberal faction turned this into “Fox said there are No Go Zones where no non-muslims live and the police ‘will NOT go’.”

Now the Gotcha Crowd smells blood and has demanded, and received, apologies from Fox News regarding the ‘misrepresentations’.

But hold on a second!  Here’s the part which should be interesting to watch.

‘No Go Zones’ in fact do exist in France.  (They also exist in other countries…)

The French call them ZUS or “Sensitive Urban Zones” (Zones Urbaines Sensible)  They were established in 1996.  And this concern over areas throughout Europe which have reduced police presence and ‘alternative’ law has been a discussion for at least that long.

These are areas that have a high percentage of individuals with values that are ‘slightly different’ from the general population of France.

And they’re Real.

And they have a propensity to be very dangerous.

And the French Police have different criteria for which to determine intervention.

And depending on the day… you may not feel welcome.  (For those of you semantically challenged that means “unwelcome”.)

And it may not just be a day, it could be a season… like “Strike Season” which occurs in the fall and had become the traditional period in which everyone who thinks they have something to gain goes on strike.  Even the Homeless… I kid you not.

So keep an eye out for this story not to go away.

The Faux News hunters see too much to gain.  I hope they keep up the hunt.

No Go Zones may have been overstated, intentionally or not, but the story is true and now has the very people who would not want to discuss it doing the chasing.

The moral of the ZUS areas is one of Assimilation, Something the French, Liberal Leftists and Minority Groups have been telling us is Discrimination.

Now the French are reaping rewards for their Progressive Policies of not expecting immigrants to assimilate.

Brilliant.

I particularly enjoy the http://www.snopes.com post regarding the No Go Zones.  Snopes declares the No Go Zone rumor to be FALSE.  But it gets fun if you read through the entire explanation.  After you move through the FOX News is Stupid paragraphs you find that it is really… kinda… true… Dang it!  But they cover for that with some more FOX News is Stupid paragraphs.  I suggest checking it out:  Here.

 

Are you Doing Better than you were 6-years Ago?

Well… are you?

President Obama say’s you are… that is If he can have the opportunity to explain to you why.

In his latest interview the President was asked if he believed the Democrat Party would retain the Senate Democrat Control. He said, equivocally, “Yes”.

Then he was asked if he really believed the American People were doing better than they were and… basically… if he would like to revisit his last response.

Our President said he did believe the American People were doing better since he’s been President and they would say so if he could just explain to them why.

This is interesting on two points… both not surprising.

1. You’re too ignorant to know how you’re doing.

2. You must be told how to feel about how you’re doing and then what to say when asked.

This is Progressive Dogma laid out for all to see.  Both of these points are what allow Liberal Leftists to say such things with a straight face.  They KNOW this to be true.

Allow me to translate Mr. Obama’s words; The American People will believe they are doing better than they were 6-years ago if we tell them they’re doing better than they were doing 6-years ago.  Kroft… you idiot.

Whether the interviewer recognized it or not this is also an indictment on the Media and the responsibility Leftists expect the Media to shoulder in being a Cheerleader for, and Propaganda Arm of, the Democrat Party. In essence President Obama is blaming the Media for not Telling All of Us how Great things are and it is being reflected in the Polls, possibly in the elections.

It is interesting how the Progressive Mind works.

This entire approach of Socialists, to all things, goes back to Animal Spirits.

Realty is how you perceive it. And you act accordingly.

Thus, if your perception if ‘modified’, Reality can be changed.

Think about that… Reality can be Changed, by Them.

What does all this mean?

It means if the Democrats Lose the Senate it’s the Media’s Fault, and then it’s Your Fault… in that order.

It struck me after only a few minutes of Watching Brian Williams in a Moscow meeting room that I just don’t care about Edward Snowden.

I really don’t.

I thought to myself “What if this guy were to come back to the U.S.?” and “What if this guy has spilled secrets to Russia?” and “What if a Giant Sexually Frustrated Purple Rhinoceros charged into the room and Raped this Guy?” with all the same answer of “So What?”

Even if the Rhino raped Snowden I don’t think I would have cared.

In the End,

It’s not about Snowden… it has always been about a Government that has become too powerful and unchecked.

It is about Privacy… Liberty… and Freedom of the Individual.

Your Freedom is directly correlated with your ability to remain anonymous.

Whoops.

So I have to believe this is all Political Theater!

Snowden did us all a service. But he is neither a Hero nor a Traitor. He’s just some dude who did what he thought was right.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if our Government was Full of people like that? People that did what they thought was right in terms of preserving our Freedoms and Liberties by making sure the very place they worked remained constrained and in check at all times?  Wouldn’t it be comforting if those in charge of keeping us safe spent more time protecting Us from our Government than protecting our Government from Us?

I know… I’m Drunk. The stupid Rhinoceros keeps making do shots… for some reason… It feels like he’s sitting too close…

Obesity Rights group bombs Boston Marathon.

The Obesity Rights Congress of America, a terrorist organization affiliated with Fatah Allah Tamil Tribes of Yemen, today claimed responsibility for the bombing of the Boston Marathon.

In an unsourced internet post an anonymous spokesperson said: “How many more Runners must die before the world realizes we should get special rights too?!  I’d say more but I have to go to lunch.”

Now back to Shepard Smith vamping out loud about every conceivable scenario imaginable…  where is Richard Jewel when we need someone to blame?  Oh, right… he’s dead.  What about timothy…. too skinny, and also dead.  I guess I have to leave the conjecture to Shep.
