Is Mexico Responsible for Anything?

I have a simple question.

Is Mexico responsible for anything?

Admittedly, it is difficult to lay complete blame for the drug violence on Mexico when we (the U.S. citizenry) are consuming the product of, and we (the U.S. government) are arming, the drug cartels. So let’s be generous and say “we” are responsible for 60% of the problem. Seem reasonable? So why do we only hear about our 60%? What about the other 40%?

Considering the lines outside emigration services yesterday it struck me that Mexico was doing nothing to help “legitimize” the status of the individuals in line. But to Mexico’s defense even if they had I’m not sure it would have been warmly received.  In fact, several of the “on scene” interviews sounded more like asylum cases in that the individual would run down a list of how inhospitable and outright dangerous Mexico is. The idea of going back, to them, would be cruel and unusual punishment for crime they did not commit.  While I personally enjoy Mexico and find it to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth… I do not necessarily disagree, but it lends to the larger issue.

Is Mexico responsible for anything?  If so, what?

Let’s say Canadians were flooding across the border for reasons of escape… (which in some medically related scenarios is not so far-fetched) would we be so tolerant of the Canadian government as to continuously find ways to blame ourselves? And since we’re on that topic… blame ourselves for what? Is it our fault that we cling to the final visage of Free-Market Capitalism in the world and the prosperity it promulgates, thus creating a more desirable alternative than the place these folks are escaping from?

So why are we quiet in regard to Mexico?

Why exactly is it not Mexico’s responsibility to create that same atmosphere for their citizens?  (The same applies to all Latin American countries given our current predicament.)

Why should Mexico be absolved of the international cry to improve their economy, create jobs and control crime repeatedly leveled at the U.S.?  It’s certainly not a lack of natural resources, ports, or favorable climate… It’s clearly not the lack of population or strong work ethic. So why?

Partly it is a U.S. media predisposed to self loathe U.S. success and prosperity. It simply is not in vogue to appreciate the Capitalist system our country was founded on, assuming they know what that is, or the riches realized from it. The flip side of that is a programmed desire not to criticize Socialist countries, not because it might make the country look bad but because they would have to look in the mirror and re-evaluate their personal beliefs.

The final aspect is Political Correctness and the fear of being labeled racist should anyone step up and offer the truth. They know the first Journalist to speak out loud that ‘Mexico shares the blame for our border problems and must own their economic woes will be labeled a bigot who hates… I don’t even know anymore… Mexicans? Hispanics? Latinos? Mayans? Aztecs? Spaniards? I mean seriously. The world is cosmopolitan. Having a Spanish surname means little here in the U.S. but the census still counts you as Hispanic… Why?  Because that’s how the money is handed out.  Rest assured, someone would be offended somewhere, so you’d be a bigot somehow.
All I’m asking for is reasoned, rational, discussion.

What I’m saying simply is there must be a focus on other countries responsibility when it comes to their citizenry and internal economic problems.

Unfortunately it seems all too easy to blame the U.S. for all the ills in the world, especially by our own journalists. When I say “easy”, I mean both comfortably and safely. They are comfortable because they believe it, and they are safe because they know as long as they blame the U.S. First… there will be no punishment directed at them from the industry of the offended.  The Antifa Fascists will be fine with it, so they know their houses will not be burnt down.

Think about the comments from the EU and how the problems they suffer are always the fault of United States.  The starvation and disease in Africa is our fault.  The illegal immigration problem right here in the U.S. is our fault… because, like every other country in the world including Mexico,  we don’t openly accept just anyone who crosses the border.  It’s stunning how the world expects us to bend in every way imaginable while they conduct themselves in a way of “business as usual”.

It’s also stunning that absolutely no attention is paid to how we became a country that could help those less fortunate on our borders… and around the world.  But here’s a hint… it wasn’t by giving all of our stuff away.

I am a Capitalist.  As such, this is not a cry to seal the borders and not let anyone in, or pull all of our Diplomats home.  On the contrary, I like tall fences and wide gates.  I expect to have access to the best products at the best prices for my self-determined needs.  Having emissaries abroad is important to communicate the benefits of freedom and liberty of the individual as well as aid those who wish to embrace it for themselves in their own countries.

But there needs to be rational and reasonable assessments when determining the foundation of problems lest no solutions can ever be arrived at.

Unless that’s the point.

Forrest Trump

Run Forrest, Run!

A few years back I tapped out an observation regarding a strategy used by President Obama and Nansy Pelosi I termed “Blitzkrieg“. The Democrats had decided it was time to push as much Socialist Poison upon the United States as possible… all at once.

It was horribly brilliant.

Well, here we are again.  Only this time it’s the Republicans, let me rephrase that, the Trump Administration.  The strategy is still brilliant… just not horrible or poisonous.

Where Pelosi’s Blitzkrieg was ignored by the media, Trump does not suffer from a lack of opposition.  The Leftists own the press.  Period.  This is not news to anyone paying attention.  So Pelosi got a pass because it was all for ‘the greater good’ according to Elitist Aristocrats in the Media longing for a return of a King.

Now we are watching Donald Trump do the very same thing.

And what do we get?  We are being dosed with “Too Much Too Soon”… “We need more digestible bites”… “This loss in the Courts over a Travel Ban is a Huge Blow”… “We need to slow down the process!”

Hogwash.

What’s going on, and sadly it’s coming not just from the Democrats but from the Leftist Republicans as well, is screaming for more time to fabricate resistance to Trumps momentum.  It’s just darn difficult to bus minimum wage ‘protesters’ all over God’s Green Earth when you don’t know where they are needed most.  It’s also Very Expensive.  What?!  Do you think the Supporters of the Soft Slavery of Socialism are made of Money?!  Well, they are!  But that’s not the point!

The cries we are hearing to “slow down”, or critiques of the new Administration being “amateurish” are nothing more than pleading for additional time to get organized opposition in place.

Well I say stuff it.  Literally.

Rommel got it right.  Push Hard, Push Fast and Do Not Stop.  The Friction of War will not subside, but one can secure the offensive by not allowing opposition to organize.  You will suffer an occasional setback, but Forward is the direction one must continue to travel.  Even Pelosi understood this.  It was hard to recognize it on her face, but trust me, she got it.  (Cut her a break, it’s hard to recognize anything on her face.)

As far as I’m concerned there must continue to be a flurry of decisions and orders every day, Large and Small.  I don’t care about the press’ desire to have “more digestible” bites so they can try to convince you what a bad idea anything Trump wants to do is.  Frankly, nothing I’ve seen being pushed by the Trump Administration has fallen outside of topics we’ve argued for the last 30-years.  We all know where the other side stands.  It’s decidin’ time.

As far as those in the media who supposedly support all the things they’ve been supposedly supporting for the last 30-years… you should try a steaming hot cup of STFU.  We don’t need your help.  We’ve had enough of your “It’s just words” approach to destroying this country marginally slower than the Democrat Socialists.  We all recognize that if it doesn’t get done right damn now it isn’t going to get done.  We have seen this play… we have memorized the script.

You can’t get from here to there if you don’t actually intend to get from here to there… while you can still get back to there from here.

Just as Winston Groom’s character, our new president may not appear to know what he’s doing… but it’s only because he doesn’t recognize the limitations society has decided are appropriate for all of us to respect.  He is not of the Political Klass.  He has lived his entire life solving problems, not nurturing them for political benefit.  He is the Antidote with which we can break down the Established Leftist Disease permeating the Greatest Experiment in Self Government the World has ever known.

Bare in mind there is nothing new about the opposition Trump is facing.  There has never been a President who supported the Constitution in it’s entirety the Left liked.  Not one.  Even their arguments have become cliche.  It’s the same old crap… Racist, Bigot, Homophobe.  They should consider getting some new material.  But here we are.

At this point the only thing we should be hearing from every Republican, particularly Scott Brown, John McCain, Lindsey Graham etc. is “Run Forest, Run!”

I don’t care if they like him… to oppose him when he’s done nothing but support issues they have used to get elected year after year only illustrates their true Ideology.

Here’s the thing about Trump, he doesn’t care.

So let’s review the latest episodes of P.T. Barnum’s run for the Presidency 2.0. shall we?

He said John McCain was not a Hero. (Yes, I know he quickly thereafter said McCain WAS a Hero… Four times… but he still said it.)

One might wonder why McCain isn’t picking up the ball on defending his status.

Well, McCain was the one who picked the fight with Trump. Bet you didn’t know that part.

Trump had a rally in Phoenix and around 15,000 people showed up.

McCain called those people “Crazies”.

Trump was asked how he felt about a War Hero calling His Supporters, and His Policy Proposals, “Crazy”.

Trump returned the personal insult.

Now, Tuesday July 21st 2015, Trump is being accused of calling Lyndsey Graham and “Idiot”.  (He did.)  He also gave out Graham’s personal cell phone number.

Well, Lyndsey picked a fight with P.T. when he called him a “Jackass”.  Bet you didn’t know that part.

And… Trump returned the insult.

(For full disclosure, I happen to think both McCain and Graham are Ass Clowns.  And both of them are posters boys for what’s wrong with this country.  One is just a bit more heroic than the other.  As to which, you decide.)

Look, as far as I’m concerned Trump is enjoying attention right now because the GOP Establishment has Flooded the Field with Mediocre Candidates in Order to dilute the available Oxygen in the room for Conservatarians like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz of whom they are very, very afraid. The Establishment knows full well that in the off-chance you might actually listen to either of these men first hand, and not what is fed to you by the Leftist and Establishment Media, you might agree with them.  But their tactic to distract you from serious candidates has opened up a Huge Hole with a Comb Over.  So here comes Trump saying what the people want to hear and simply doesn’t care how the media feels about it.

There are two interesting aspects to Barnum’s circus.

First, the Liberal Media believe they are harming the GOP by playing Trumps words in endless loops while pouring derision upon him.

(I think this is having the exact opposite effect.)

Second, the Liberal Republicans believe Trump is Harming them, Liberal Establishment RINO’s not the GOP, by saying what is on everyone’s mind but the PC bullies have successfully been able to silence.

(They are correct.)

In the end Trump will run his course. But before that happens he will have moved the window back to where reasoned minds can debate. That is if the Leftist Media keep pushing the microphone into his face and the Establishment keeps reacting in fear.

Let’s hope so.

In the end, is Trump an A-Hole?  Yep.

But he’s a useful A-Hole.

However, he is not a Presidential A-Hole.

I Demand to know How Much it Cost! (Updated)

I want… no, I Demand to know how much Rand Paul’s Campaign paid Lindsey Graham for the Mother of all Endorsements!

Yesterday, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the following;

“The best deal, I think, comes with a new president. Hillary Clinton would do better. I think everybody on our side, except maybe Rand Paul, could do better,” Graham said on CBS’ “Face The Nation.”

Considering Graham’s Status as a Bikini Model for the Establishment Republicans, there could be no better endorsement for Rand Paul.

Look, I’ve not thrown in yet with a Primary Republican Candidate… but the only thing remaining that could cement the deal for me is if John McCain took a Public Slap at Paul.  That would probably put me firmly in the Rand Camp.

But something smells fishy here.

Could it be that Lindsey is doing Rand a favor?

For such a gratuitous singling out, one might think so.

Frankly, whatever it is, there is no win here for Graham.  If he did it with ill intent… Rand Wins.  If he did it because someone in the Paul Campaign passed a white envelope stuffed full of unmarked twenties to a Graham staffer… Rand Wins.

If Lindsey really hates Rand, he might want to shut up.

I hope he doesn’t.

Maybe the Cruz folks could slide Lindsey some cash too?  McCain?  Boehner?

If ISIS comes across our Border with Mexico…

It will be no one’s fault but the Democrat Party.

Followed only by those Leftist Republicans whose deliberate inaction on the issue of securing the borders FIRST prior to any discussion of reform of immigration policy.

If, God forbid, those Terrorist A-Holes succeed in killing American’s here in the U.S. the blood will be on the hands of those elected officials who have placed politics above security, economic and otherwise, for over a decade now.

There is No Excuse for the situation we are in… and our open, unprotected borders have been by design. Whether it was to set the stage for the continued life of the Leftist Democrat Party of the Fascist Left of the Republican party catering to big business…

We have been talking about securing the borders since the beginning of the Bush Administration and we have done LESS THAN NOTHING. If anything, we have created a path of death and despair with the promise of free stuff and taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves from outside our country. It is as Sad as it is Sick that anyone supports such a Scheme foisted upon innocence.

But then there’s the not so innocent…

What’s left to add after those who came here illegally begin killing us?

Some offer they started a long time ago.

Wake Up. Secure the Borders. If that means a fence to at least slow them down then so be it.

Once we’re finished with that we can begin the conversation regarding easier access for those who wish to work here.

Ban Them!

After yet another Marathon Tragedy it has become clear we have an epidemic.

Between 1140 and 3420 lives are claimed each year just in the United States by Marathons alone. This does not account for those deaths, and myriad injuries, caused by lesser races and the training associated with them.

While we are paying attention to other things, a plague is stealing the lives of those we care for most.

WE NEED TO WAKE UP!

SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!

If you doubt me, try asking the mother of a lost child.  Look in the eyes of those brothers, sisters and friends of someone whose life was taken far too early.

It is within our power to stop this.

It goes without saying… no one should be running towards danger except first responders.  And, unless you’re guilty of something no one should be running away. (It’s also just not the way to handle your problems.)

I know what you’re saying… “If Running Shoes are illegal then only criminals will have Running Shoes.” This might be the case. But we must start somewhere and getting these things literally off of the street must be our primary concern.  Our lives depend on it.

Some of you might think you need a pair of running shoes for your health. I will point out countless studies show walking is just as effective if not more so than running.

You might even say that anyone can “run” in a pair of walking shoes.  Sure, it’s possible, but we’re talking about “Running” shoes.  These Shoes are designed to do nothing but being run in.  These are shoes that should only be on the feet of our military and police.  The public has no need for such a specialized, and deadly, shoe.

Some of you might offer that a good pair of running shoes cut down on carbon emissions.  It’s important to remember that runners consume more oxygen and exhale more often than normal people.  And, what do they exhale?  That’s right… CO2! This is just the tip of the environmental destruction caused by running.  Running paths destroy the natural beauty of our open spaces, the manufacture of these hideous instruments of death cause all kinds of environmental problems in the third world countries in which they are produced.  I could go on, but surely you get the point.

Many of you believe that a pair of running shoes can save you from assailants trying to do you harm.  This simply isn’t true.  It has been pointed out that you would be dead anyway.  And, the police are our first line of defense… that heavy burden must never fall on your shoulders.

A few of you “wacko-birds” might suggest you have a “right” to own a pair of running shoes. While you people are clearly insane and your misreading of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights has led you and your ilk to assume such a “right”, I will point out that nowhere is it written that you have a “right to run”… anywhere. Let alone own a pair of running shoes.

And, the most extreme of you will say something along the lines of “Running Shoes don’t kill people, people kill people.”  We all know that the mere presence of running shoes promotes RUNNING!  What else are they used for!?  You people are sick, and stupid.  Just look at the statistics!

All of YOU need to calm down!

We are not talking about banning ALL shoes. I come from a big family of Walkers… I enjoy Walking.  I respect your right to walk and would never infringe on that right… ever.  In fact, I’m a proud member of the National Walking Association.  I will stand up for your right to walk!

What we are talking about here is saving lives.  Reducing crime.  Saving the planet.

What we are talking about is the future we pass down to our children.

What we are talking about is a better, safer, world.

Today we will begin demanding our elected representatives address this problem.

We will expect them to introduce a Running Shoe Control Bill as soon as possible.

And within that bill must be a total ban on all recreational running… there is simply no place for such an activity in a civilized world.  The innocent lives saved by this simple provision will be incalculable.

We must also demand a mandatory health check-up and registry of those wishing to purchase a pair of running shoes.  If these things are going to be out there we must know where they are and be sure they’re only on the feet of those who are responsible enough to own them.

Lastly there should be some nod to child safety.

We cannot afford to expose the most fragile among us to such needless risk.

I Hate the Way Washington Works!

So we have to keep electing people who know how Washington Works and can Work that Way!

This is what is currently passing for logic.

Make no mistake, the Republican Establishment have a vested interest in convincing you that Non-Establishment Republicans are terrible, terrible human beings… and you MUST support Establishment Republicans because only They know how the System works in D.C.  Of course they will leave out the fact that they are Responsible for how the system works in D.C…

So the Current line, like the latest one offered by Time Magazine (I know, I know… yes, they are still around.), is trying to convince us that Republicans such as Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Scott Walker et al. will destroy the Republican Party.  Time is still pushing the idea that Ted Cruz’ filibuster trying to push a one-year delay of the employer mandate, which the administration did anyway, led to a government shut down (A shut down that nobody noticed, so the Obama Administration executed the ‘Monument Plan’ in which they roped off open air monuments trying to prevent access to the public… remember that?) which caused horrible things to happen to all of us.  By the way, nothing happened to any of us.

Anyway, In every Wild Accusation there is an element of truth…

Let me ask you, if you don’t like the way Washington Works then what about the Established Republican Party is Worth Saving? Why not destroy the parts we don’t like and build on the parts we Do?

Clearly the Establishment Wing, and Democrats who are used to getting them to do exactly what they want, are not interested in Destroying those parts of the Republican Party… because THEY ARE those parts of the Republican Party.

Folks, anytime a Liberal Media outlet, which is pretty much all of them, tells you that you should choose one person or another person lest you’re going to lose everything and the sky will fall, you should immediately suspect a ruse. The Leftist Media has no interest in Republicans being successful, ever.

And sadly, most of the Republicans have no interest in being successful either, at least not in any way We would define Success. Well over 80% of the Republican Party now in office is far from interested in Limited Government let alone Freedom and Liberty of the Individual. They just want to be the ones controlling the money so they can spiff their families, friends and donors.

For those of you thinking that is an endorsement of ANY Democrat, pull your head out. 100% of the Democrat party is interested in the very same thing, and they will do whatever it takes, including telling you which Republicans “stand the best chance” to win, to keep their power and continue to push their Socialist Utopian Dream thus leaving them in charge forever.

The only difference between Every Democrat and a Majority of Republicans is the ones with a “D” behind their name talk about their genuine Marxist beliefs behind closed doors… the Republicans are so stupid they fail to realize those are the same beliefs they are supporting.  I’m not sure what Establishment Republicans talk about behind closed doors, maybe that they were invited by a prominent Democrat to lunch?  Who knows?  Frankly I don’t care so long as we work to replace them with Non-Establishment Republicans.

So back to the point…

It’s exactly those Republicans who you are hearing the greatest number of “bad” things whom you should be most interested in. And the odds are you should also be voting for them and giving them money.

If they’re being made fun of, you should probably read for yourself what they are saying.  Odds are it’s not what being reported.

They, the Evil Non-Establishment Types who are “Peeing Inside the Tent”, are the ones who will stand any chance of changing things as they are.

The Republicans making enemies are the ones who need our support.

The Battle is within our own Party.

And those who like things as they are know it.

They’re Leaders are well dressed Individuals like John McCain, Harry Reid, Lindsey Graham, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.

They have forgone setting up a tent by the reflecting pond and opted for apartments in Georgetown, Arlington and Adams Morgan.

What they can’t get from the Starbucks they installed in the basement, They drink on F Street while leaving most of the Stealing, Misspelling and Molesting to their Interns.

The only Surprise is how long it took them to take over the Entire Hill.

And, that we have yet to see Video of Pelosi squatting over a Park Police Cruiser.

May be since They’re figuratively doing Exactly That to all of Us they don’t Feel the Need.

Some things are just too big to get on Film.

In the End, They are the Same Collective of “thinkers” we watched Pollute a Park in the Financial District.

Except the Damage isn’t limited to a single block.  It extends across the entire Nation.

Just Appear to Care

After Listening to Rep. Renee Ellmers’, a TEA Party candidate when she Won her Seat, go above and beyond to defend Amnesty for Illegal Aliens it caused me to think a little bit more about this issue and a much, much Larger One.

First, The push back Ellmers received should be a wake-up call for all those who courted, and received, TEA Party support when winning their seats.

Just because you ran and won as a TEA Party Candidate does Not Mean You Get a Pass when it comes to representing those who voted for you.  This is a NEW DAY in politics.  You should expect to be Held Accountable for your Actions once in office.  I realize this concept is completely foreign to the modern political class, but how did Nancy Pelosi put it?  Oh, right… “Embrace the Suck”.

It is long past due to put “Representative” back into Representative Republic.  And that Folks is Why the TEA Party is Hated by every Democrat and 80% of the Current Republican Party.

But there seems to be some Additional Confusion being suffered by those Republicans who are currently supporting Amnesty… or whatever name they are giving it so they can avoid calling it what it is.

It is no secret that the various Chambers of Commerce nationwide tend to represent Small and Medium Business’.  And, it should go without saying that they are logically “pro-business”.  At least one would Hope unless something has Changed.

So one might ask, Why when unemployment is Extremely High (gaming of the unemployment numbers can’t even provide a good rate at this point) would the various Chamber’s want to import 20 Million New Workers into the U.S and hand them Citizenship with all its commiserate rights?

Well here’s why…

These Business Owners live under the illusion that a large immigrant population here “legally” will be working for the low wages the illegal workers are working for now.

This leap of logic is beyond comprehension, but that’s what’s driving this push from the Chamber’s, and the Small and Medium Businesses, who support this push.

It’s Ignorance on a Profound level.

(Do you remember in grade school when you had mastered addition?  When 2+2=4 became easy?  When suddenly your teacher gave you problems that had more than one number in them… so 2+2+9=?… and you thought it was really hard?  Too many of us never quite got past that way of thinking and never learned to solve those problems. (It’s 12 by the way.  I got the problem from a Common Core math assignment.  But don’t worry, You get partial credit for just trying.)  Experience has taught me you don’t have to be smart to own a business… this may just be more proof.)

The only result of allowing a huge influx of what can only be considered citizens into the United States is an explosion of Union Members as well as new Leftist Voters.  That’s it.

Well, that’s not quite “it”.  There will also be an Explosion of new Welfare Recipients…

…which is why as a Libertarian Type I stray from the Doctrine and do Not support Open Borders.  The Poison Pill of Entitlement’s for those who do not work or Overburden Society by being rewarded for mortgaging other people’s productivity destroys the opportunity to throw the borders open to all who want to come and go at their leisure.  The fact our safety net has become a Day Care prevents us from exploring what would otherwise be a terrific chapter in our history.

Also take into account, We Already have illegals Voting in Elections across the U.S.  We already have illegals taking Welfare from this country.

Can we afford to elect More People who will simply accelerate this?  Can we afford to support legislation that promotes this because we were never good a math and it just sounds so nice?

Because that’s what we’re doing.

But all of this brings us to a much larger Issue.

If there is any doubt left in your mind that the Establishment Republicans and the Democrats are the same, makeaneffort at reason.

Amnesty:  Supported by Democrats.  Supported by Establishment Republicans.

IRS Targeting:  Supported by Democrats.  Becoming clear it is also Supported by Establishment Republicans.

NSA Domestic Spying:  Supported by Establishment Republicans.  Becoming clear it is also Supported by Democrats… so long as it doesn’t happen to them.  Right Diane Feinstein?

Obama Care:  Supported by Democrats.  Supported by Establishment Republicans.  (This Alone should serve as a warning.  Obama Care is the single most destructive Legislation we have seen in most of our lifetimes.  You can’t “Fix” Stupid.  It the ACA is Stupid.)

Spending us into Oblivion:  Supported by Democrats.  Supported by Establishment Republicans.

Militarizing DHS:  Supported by Establishment Republicans.  Supported by Democrats.

Government Enforced Wage Rates:  Supported by Democrats.  Becoming clear they are also Supported by Establishment Republicans.

What should you take away from this?

Both Political Parties have become so accustomed needing only the Appearance of Caring in order to get Elected that all connection to our Founding Ideology has been severed.  Now the only philosophy which remains is Socialism… on all sides… or rather, just one side.

It’s time for the Political Revolution we are witnessing right before our eyes.

The fact we take it seriously is reflected in our holding people like Ryan and Ellmers’ feet to the fire.

The Waiting is Over.

Libertarian Dissonance

Or, Who are We?

Over the last 72 hours I’ve heard a growing number of TEA Party Conservative Types trying to square their Libertarian views with what’s going on in Europe.

The dilemma seems to be the Libertarian Ideal of Non-intervention versus the United States’ promises which have been made through Treaties.

I confess… After, After, After being Anti-Socialist, I’m more Libertarian than anything else. Even so, I believe we must honor those commitments made through treaty. It’s True I’m not interested in being the world’s policeman, and I would work diligently to remove the United States from many of the commitments we have made decades past, but until that happens we must honor those we’ve made.

The reason I feel this way is we have nothing on the World stage if not our word.  And I guarantee there will be times we need those who have made agreements with us, the U.S., to honor Their promises.

So here we are… today… facing What it Is, not What we may Wish it to be.

The desire to not intervene is understandable…

Once upon a time, The United States stood for Liberty and Freedom of the Individual. It was a radical idea born out of the Enlightenment. This idea led to the formation of a Nation governed by Law instead of Men.  We used to want Other’s to have Individual Freedom and Liberty…

We used to have a Mission.  But we have wandered far from those ideals once at the forefront of our Foreign Policy and most importantly our Domestic Policy.

Because of that I can relate to those out there who believe we need to focus on our own home-grown problems at this point in time.

And,

Do I want to run around the world and commit Men and Material in defense of people I do not know, who apparently don’t like us?  No, I don’t.

I would prefer Countries in need of our help ask us directly… that would be the alternative to treaties as far as I’m concerned. You need us? Just Yell so Everyone can hear you.  If you decide to champion Freedom and Liberty of the Individual, we’ll help.  If not, you’re on your own.  Good Luck.

But those are not the circumstances at the moment.  We have Obligations, whether we like them or not.

But that really isn’t the issue in my opinion.

The Real Problem is what makes us any different from those we wish to oppose?

That should be the Primary Question facing all of us as we watch Russia “take back” what they believe to be theirs.

What do we stand for?

Why Should the Ukraine, or any other Nation for that matter, ask for our help?

What do we represent that is worth those in other Countries to risk dying for?

These are not rhetorical questions… I’m not sure I know anymore. And I don’t think they do either, which may be why they’re not asking for our help.

All of this aside, promoting a position of standing aside because of Libertarian principles, or because you might enjoy this current Administration looking like Fools (Which they most certainly do…) is to allow those who see the faults of Communism/Socialism to remain Slaves of it.

At the End of the Day I am Anti-Socialist first. All other things second. I am not interested in giving anything to Socialists, Ever. Ever.

I hope there will be more Thinking about where this is all headed and less Reveling in the Mess created by Progressive Buffoons.  Yes, they’re idiots who cause more problems than they solve… so vote accordingly.  Right now we have a problem and it has to do with the disappearance of American Exceptionalism.

(I will issue only one warning… there will be those Progressive-Liberal Republicans like McCain and Graham out on the networks hoping to win favor with people like me.   They will not. They are a distinction without a difference when it comes to Socialism. Their time, that should never have come, is past.)

The events we’ve seen unfolding over the last several years from Georgia to Syria to Cyprus to Ukraine… to Russian Destroyers in Cuba to North Korea getting the Nuke and the Means to send it, to China poking Japan and promising to “unify” Taiwan and on and on… all leads to it “not being okay”.

There is a War going on.

All is not Calm.

And if we don’t take a position the rest of the world hears and understands clearly, all will not be calm.

What Position will that be?

What will we Stand Tall for?

(As an Aside:  The Libertarians have a similar problem with Immigration.  Ideally we are Open Borders.  The Problem is the Poison Pill of the Entitlement State.  Too many of us fail to recognize a Trap even when it is made By Fools.  Which makes Us Fools.  That’s why we must Makeaneffort.)
