Something Funny Happened on the Way to Nowhere

The United Kingdom Ended Up Somewhere.

In what can only be considered the biggest Political Blunder of the European Liberal Elitist Ruling Class, they held a Vote… A Referendum… on their policies of the last 40 years. It was a simple vote and the turn out reflected that. It was easy to understand. It was Up or Down.

The Vote was Down.

I have to assume that it was their innate Smug Arrogance which allowed the Referendum to get all the way to the Polls.  They must have honestly thought they were going to walk away with it…

Well, An anticipated Victory to Go Nowhere the Fabian Socialist LSE Grads knew they were going to toast, turned out to be Shock and Awe with an order to leave the circle of communal fantasy.

Whoops.

What will happen now is the fallback position of every Big Government Statist.

There will be the intentionally blind declarations of this vote being evidence ‘that Government has not done Enough’ for Britains.

Once no traction is felt with such foolishness then will come ‘they have no idea what they have done’.  In other words the British commoners are too stupid to know what’s best for them.  They were Drunk…. Stupid… Ignorant.  And the Elite will once again comfort themselves by repeating to one other “When faced with a decision the only thing you can count on the masses to do is make the wrong one.”

But herein lies the insidious nature of all Socialist politics.

The Elite will quickly set out upon a course of administering pain upon the British People and all those who side with this Declaration of Independence.

You see, you cannot be allowed to succeed without the guiding hand of Government.  And once you agreed some 40 years ago to what was considered the first step towards a Global Utopia of Collective States… backing out was never an option which would be tolerated by ‘serious’ Socialist ‘thinkers’.

This has always been my problem with equating ‘Western Democracy’ with Capitalism and Enlightenment Governing Theory.  It is not.  It’s Communism Light.  It’s the Turtle holding up a Fire Hot World being Hammered into a Utopia by frustrated Monarchists whose ideological leanings would have been better left on the ash heap of Europe’s Feudal History.

Make no mistake, there are those among us who like their power just the way it is… Theirs and Theirs Alone.  They believe themselves entitled to it… in the most literal sense.  Many of them believe themselves to be Plato’s Philosopher Kings… they believe themselves to be anointed by God… Superior Humans.  Pick your poison.

They have no plans of going away… or giving up.

And,

They will not leave this overt disapproval by the ignorant unwashed to go unpunished.

Will Boehner Retaliate?

Now that John Boehner has narrowly kept his Speakership, will he and his minions retaliate against those who were representing the people of their districts and voted against him?

Because that’s what he would be doing…

He would be retaliating against Us.

If this happens, does he think We will suddenly fall in behind him?

I would suggest that unlikely.

His best course of action may be to take this as a wake-up call and fly right. It’s well past time for more Constitutional Loyalty and less Bipartisanshitt.

But experience has shown us The Establishment Republicans will do the exact opposite of swinging back towards the Constitution…

We will see.

Update:  No need to wait long.  Boehner has now made it clear that he has no intention of listening to us.

Abdicating our Moral Authority

It has long been the Leftist goal to remove Moral Authority from the United States.

And, it seems they have.

To tap out the rest of this post demands a discussion on American Exceptionalism.  So here goes.

Liberals would have you believe American Exceptionalism is the feeling American’s have where they see themselves as Superior Individuals compared to all the rest of the Worlds inhabitants.  It’s imperative for the Progressive Left to keep this definition alive in the minds of their followers because a genuine understanding of American Exceptionalism would lead their minions away from the Socialist Agenda for America.

In truth, American Exceptionalism in not about you, me, or any individual.  It’s about the way this country was founded.  When the term American Exceptionalism is employed it refers to the Freedom and Liberty of the Individual this Country was designed to protect.  It refers to our Natural Right’s which we possess not by the grace of government but by the fact we Exist as Individual Human Beings.  It refers to a structure unique in the World.  An Experiment which has demonstrated Self Governance and the profound acceleration of achievement such Liberty and Freedom fosters.  We were designed to Govern from the Bottom Up… not from the Top Down.  We were established where Government worked for us and was intentionally kept small so not to interfere with our lives.  This Design separates us from every other country in the World, or at least it once did.  And the reason this has changed is not because other Nations have adopted our Revolutionary Idea of Government.  Quite the opposite.

But back to the point, the Left cannot have an honest conversation regarding American Exceptionalism because it supports removal of the power of State over Citizen.  It questions the application of Force the Social Democrat requires in order to guarantee you’re making the ‘choices’ they demand you make.  And that kind of questioning cannot be allowed.

So here we are…

What frayed remnants of the United States’ original form we see today is very close to being beyond mending.

The Socialist Left has been able, through a determined war of attrition, to dismantle the protections once held so closely by every American Citizen.  They have overtly disregarded the Constitution by placing Liberal Judges in appointed positions to ‘interpret’ law in whatever way favors their agenda, convinced the public to elect politicians who refuse to be honest about their designs for the country until they wrest enough influence that they cannot be stopped, and most insidiously created Addicts of the Citizenry by handing them other people’s money and making them dependents upon the Statist system… thus cementing their hold on power.

After decades of the above,

We can no longer claim to be the Champions of Freedom and Liberty.

We can no longer claim to stand for Individual Rights and Self Governance.

There was a time our adventures around the Globe were cloaked in the mantle of Moral Superiority.

Rightly so.

And that Superiority was recognized by the World.

No other Country on Earth had the long waiting lists of those who wished to enjoy the Freedoms The United States offered to every Individual.

There can be no greater endorsement of this Great Experiment.

But in a relative short period of time, the Left has succeeded in creating an America that is similar if not identical to every Socialist Democracy World over.  They achieved this by abandoning the Individual for the State.  Their Victory is the Moral high ground once possessed by the united States has been lost.

Like a self-fulfilling prophecy, The Progressives have long told us we are oppressors, and have subsequently made us so through their actions.

The United States is not Special.  Or certainly not as special as it once was.

We have stood (and some might offer standing) idly by and watched the death of the Individual, and all the creativity, energy and drive that free human beings bring to the World.

There is no longer such a thing as American Exceptionalism.

The Left has finally created the World they accused us of having all along.

And, as it is with all things Marxist… nothing can be unique.

Through the designs of the Liberal Left, We have abdicated our moral authority… and become everyone else.

Now that we Ceded our Moral Authority, we must question everything our Country does.  We must question every decision our Representatives make.  We must join the World in mistrust of American Actions…

…just not for the same reasons.

Can we return to being the Shining City on the Hill?

Or, Will we stand by while our light is extinguished and allow ourselves to be forever hidden from a World longing for Freedom?

To the last question… Apparently, yes.

You’re Stupid.

And, because You’re Stupid, the Smart People don’t owe you the Truth.

Why?

Because They Know You’re Stupid and You will not Understand the Brilliance of Their Ideas.

They also Know due to Your Stupidity you may not agree with what They want to do, and that would necessitate further explanation and possibly debate. Both of which could lead to not getting done what They want to do.

Finally, They consider Themselves ‘Elite’ which means Superior… to Stupid people like You. They might have been told this throughout their lives by family and friends, or they may just believe it because of a mental disorder. But none the less, They feel Themselves to be Smarter than You. This is what justifies, in Their minds, Their Lying to You because you’re too Stupid to understand anyway.

But Wouldn’t They be afraid We would figure it out?

No. Remember, You’re Stupid.

So Who are these People?

They are composed of Socialists and Fascists (a subgroup of Socialism).  They reside in the Totality of the Democrat Party, but there exist many Republicans and Independents who subscribe to the same Ideology.  There are even some very confused Libertarians out there as well.  Almost always they can be spotted by how they espouse a belief that they are superior to others… who are not around to hear them.  So listen carefully.

And, Why are they Lying exactly?

The Elitists will Lie to you because They believe there should be no debate about Their ideas. They also believe You must be saved from yourself… by Them. Neither of which seems to be warmly received by those They label Stupid (You).

When did this Start!?

It’s a behavior as old as time itself. The idea of Slavery under a ruling Class of Elites has been the basis for every Government on the Planet from Monarchy to Dictatorship.  It is alive and well in China, Russia, Mexico, Canada, Europe and the rest of the World.  It just so happens that the last couple of hundred years it’s found a home in the ideology of Socialism, and it’s variants, here in the U.S.  They arrived at this power by telling you, your parents, and your parent’s parents, that they will ‘fight for you’ and ‘champion equal rights for everyone’.  When in truth, the only thing they give you is that which doesn’t directly effect Them negatively and/or threaten Their Power.

A single Glaring Example; They have taken over the Public Education system in order to keep all of us as ‘Stupid’ as possible.  Without much energy you can see Their Elitist condescension through the fact that They refuse to send Their kids to the schools They run.  I have stated many times, if we want to clean up our public school system Force EVERYONE to use it… or restore the right for EVERYONE not to use it.

How do We Stop Them?

Very Good Question.

First, Make an Effort to really understand what’s going on around you.

Second, Stop listening to the Old Media which was taken over by Liberal Leftists 70 years ago.

Third, take the time to understand the ‘Why’ behind the U.S. Constitution.  This alone will lead you to an understanding of Individual Freedom, Liberty, Right to Property and Limited Government… all four of which are anathema to Elitists.  (Warning: While Socialists may say they are for these things, it is only for Them… not for You.  Why?  Because You’re Stupid, remember?  Of course they will never champion Limited Government as They need Government Force to make you do what They expect you to.)

Such a course of action will also lead you to understand Free Market Capitalism and the Invisible Hand… both of which the Elites despise as neither requires Their supposed brilliance.  And, both leave you in charge of making decisions for yourself… which cannot be tolerated, because… wait for it…  You’re Stupid.

In the End, Stupid is as Stupid does.

So Stop listening to, and worse, electing, those who Believe you are Stupid.

Because that’s Stupid.

Fighting to be Your Voice

An exchange I had with a friend brought something to mind.

We were discussing Organized Religion’s drive to be the Voice of The People.

Our conversation reinforced my belief that Organized Religion has a tendency, a desire, to be Government.

What I mean by this is The Church is not Fighting For your Voice… They are Fighting to BE your Voice.

This is synonymous with Statist governing Theory and it’s Demand to BE your voice.

Statists expect to be your Agent… in other words, they require the power to make decisions on your behalf, without your knowledge, that you will be liable for.

But it seems what We really want are spokespeople, or rather representatives, who speak Our Mind and execute Our Desires.  These two concepts are not the same.  While having the ability to override our demands… our Representatives would only do so in the very rarest of moments.  And when, if ever, this happens we demand an Explanation as they Work for us and have put us in a position we did not ask to be in.  In turn, They will stand tall to be judged while delivering that which we demand.

Clearly. This is not what we experience now.

I’ve long-held that Marx found compatriots within Europe exactly because his ideas would save the rapidly disenfranchised Aristocracy and Landed Gentry from complete irrelevance.  It’s Telling that Engels, Marx’ Patron, was born of wealth.  It’s also illustrative that many of the wealthy throughout Europe flocked to his ideas… as do much of America’s wealthy do today.

What becomes evident is it’s never been about Social Justice or whatever undefinable platitude you choose.  It’s always been about the Rich retaining their position within Society.  It’s always been about Class Permanence.  And in this regard everywhere Democratic Socialism has been tried it has indeed worked.

I marvel at the Machiavellian Brilliance found in Marx’ ideas in terms of having the Masses support the same Class Stasis they were trying to dismantle.

And without fail… the Masses have succeeded, enthusiastically.  And the Irony is they still don’t understand what’s happened.

But back to the point,

This is the difference between Protecting, and Fighting for, the Individual above all else vs. Protecting, and Fighting for, The Group.

When you ‘fight for the group’ you open yourself up to manipulation by Rich Socialists who have become Professional Manipulators.  This is what the term Useful Idiot means.  When you listen to Rich Liberals tell you how you must change your life and also vote for them again and again, right now, to save the planet, your neighborhood, your family, your vagina, whatever it is you value most… except, of course, your Freedom from Government… and you agree with him without ever asking why he refuses to give up his, you become Useful in the worst way.  It is when you Give Them your Voice that you become a Slave.  And that’s what they want.

It’s easy to comprehend.

Those seeking to protect the Group wish to secure their power as The Voice and remain in that office Forever while providing Their Family, and Their Friends, with the influence and largess the office affords. (Their Friends and Family would expect it… less they would accuse that powerful person of not caring about them.  And of course we want to be liked, loved and grow the power and influence we already have.  All of us want ‘the best’ for those closest to us.  How could you possibly deny Your Child access to medical care that has been structurally denied everyone else if you had the power to do so?  Or, how could you not make sure your Son or Daughter gets that job, even though there are better applicants, when you have the power to ‘make it happen’?  You know this to be true, and it will always be the fatal flaw in every incarnation of Socialism.  Self-Interest from within… and without.  So why do we continue to entertain repeating Marx’ horrid experiment?  But I digress…)

However,

Those seeking to protect the Individual seek nothing else. They do not seek to secure their position to ‘spread the wealth around’ so long as it’s other people’s wealth. They do not seek to expand their power over others ‘to get things done’. They do not seek the office of Representative in order to direct favors to their family and friends.

The latter terrify those now in power exactly because they threaten the legalized theft from the  Masses, as well as jeopardizing the very Scheme embraced by Marx’ patrons 100 yeas ago. The Established System which keeps them in control would be at risk.

Those who seek to protect the Individual understand that the power of Government must be returned to what the Founders intended, which necessitates a Massive reduction.  This reduction would cut the leg’s out from underneath those Liberals, Republican and Democrat, that built their entire Empires on such Power.

Once you recognize this it becomes easier to understand what’s going on in our Country today.

I Hate the Way Washington Works!

So we have to keep electing people who know how Washington Works and can Work that Way!

This is what is currently passing for logic.

Make no mistake, the Republican Establishment have a vested interest in convincing you that Non-Establishment Republicans are terrible, terrible human beings… and you MUST support Establishment Republicans because only They know how the System works in D.C.  Of course they will leave out the fact that they are Responsible for how the system works in D.C…

So the Current line, like the latest one offered by Time Magazine (I know, I know… yes, they are still around.), is trying to convince us that Republicans such as Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Scott Walker et al. will destroy the Republican Party.  Time is still pushing the idea that Ted Cruz’ filibuster trying to push a one-year delay of the employer mandate, which the administration did anyway, led to a government shut down (A shut down that nobody noticed, so the Obama Administration executed the ‘Monument Plan’ in which they roped off open air monuments trying to prevent access to the public… remember that?) which caused horrible things to happen to all of us.  By the way, nothing happened to any of us.

Anyway, In every Wild Accusation there is an element of truth…

Let me ask you, if you don’t like the way Washington Works then what about the Established Republican Party is Worth Saving? Why not destroy the parts we don’t like and build on the parts we Do?

Clearly the Establishment Wing, and Democrats who are used to getting them to do exactly what they want, are not interested in Destroying those parts of the Republican Party… because THEY ARE those parts of the Republican Party.

Folks, anytime a Liberal Media outlet, which is pretty much all of them, tells you that you should choose one person or another person lest you’re going to lose everything and the sky will fall, you should immediately suspect a ruse. The Leftist Media has no interest in Republicans being successful, ever.

And sadly, most of the Republicans have no interest in being successful either, at least not in any way We would define Success. Well over 80% of the Republican Party now in office is far from interested in Limited Government let alone Freedom and Liberty of the Individual. They just want to be the ones controlling the money so they can spiff their families, friends and donors.

For those of you thinking that is an endorsement of ANY Democrat, pull your head out. 100% of the Democrat party is interested in the very same thing, and they will do whatever it takes, including telling you which Republicans “stand the best chance” to win, to keep their power and continue to push their Socialist Utopian Dream thus leaving them in charge forever.

The only difference between Every Democrat and a Majority of Republicans is the ones with a “D” behind their name talk about their genuine Marxist beliefs behind closed doors… the Republicans are so stupid they fail to realize those are the same beliefs they are supporting.  I’m not sure what Establishment Republicans talk about behind closed doors, maybe that they were invited by a prominent Democrat to lunch?  Who knows?  Frankly I don’t care so long as we work to replace them with Non-Establishment Republicans.

So back to the point…

It’s exactly those Republicans who you are hearing the greatest number of “bad” things whom you should be most interested in. And the odds are you should also be voting for them and giving them money.

If they’re being made fun of, you should probably read for yourself what they are saying.  Odds are it’s not what being reported.

They, the Evil Non-Establishment Types who are “Peeing Inside the Tent”, are the ones who will stand any chance of changing things as they are.

The Republicans making enemies are the ones who need our support.

The Battle is within our own Party.

And those who like things as they are know it.

Karl Rove is Not an Answer.

Karl Rove won two Presidential Elections for Republican George Bush.

Barely.

It wasn’t the messaging… it wasn’t a “Big Idea”… and It certainly was not Free-Market Capitalism.

It was gaming the numbers.

He has promoted, and continues to promote, the exact same tactics.

Is it any wonder that the general public has no idea what the difference is between the two parties… because what difference does it make?  And, the similarities confuse the best of us.  If both parties are indeed on the Same Ship and all Mr. Rove was able to do is move the cargo around to get the ship to list slightly to the right then what are we talking about here?

Mr. Rove is a smart man. This can be said of many political strategists.

But Mr. Rove has built his reputation on gaming the system… not leading with universal principles unifying the population.

It is time we move on from this type of politics, and this type of strategy.

Mr. Rove would have you believe that no election could ever be won trying to explain why Freedom and Liberty of the Individual combined with Free-Market Capitalism is the exact Ideology the Nation Must Embrace. So don’t bother trying. Just keep paying him and his protégés to play the numbers.

I’m not ignorant… I understand that value of such an approach. But these people must fill a secondary role, not the primary one. In fact, they should be asked to return to the dark back room from whence they came.

With the advent of a 24-hour news cycle and the constant search for educated voices to comment on current political trends people like Karl Rove have become the “rock stars” of Politics. This must change.

It is time to return to explaining clearly the differences between the governing philosophies. If this Great Experiment in Self Governing is to be saved then we must promote those voices who can Simply, Powerfully and Directly explain to the public what the country was founded on. We must explain, explain, explain what Capitalism actually is… not what Leftists want you to think it is. We must repeat, repeat, repeat what it means to be Free and why that necessitates a profoundly smaller and far more limited Government. It is exactly that redundancy, redundancy, redundancy which will save this country.

Karl Rove is welcome to join the above effort… I would have Cigars and Bourbon waiting for him in the little room at the back of the office.

Meanwhile the only folks I would have in front of the camera’s are those whose foundation is firmly planted in Fiscally Conservative, Constitutionally Originalist and Libertarian Principles.

Being “Taxed Enough Already” was, and still is, a very easy concept to understand.  It unifies us… even those who don’t pay taxes.

It’s time to Think about what we Think…  not just how we can manipulate the numbers in order to win.

Mr. Rove and his consultant class have had their day.  Cheers to them.

Now we need to raise a Pint to Enlightenment.
