President Feckless

There has been much talk lately about our President being Feckless.

I cannot stand idly by and allow such charges to go unchallenged!

Our President deserves the respect he has earned and I’m here to offer a defense in his absence.

President Obama is quite an accomplished Fecker.

He has employed his talent to Feck up:

The Middle East – on Fecking fire.

The Economy – Completely Fecked.

Our Health Care – Fecked and getting even more Fecked.

The Free Market – Fecked-Up Beyond All Recognition.

He continues to Feck with our personal liberty, our freedom and our property rights.

Frankly, he came into office promising to Feck-up everything in his “Blue print for America” and he has accomplished many of his Fecking goals.

So anyone accusing him of being Feckless is simply wrong, he has Fecked-up almost everything.

I think he has done a fantastic job Fecking everyone.

And, I don’t know about you but I feel like I’ve been Fecked enough by the President.

But I guess there are still folks out there who need some more Fecking…  (They’ll be voting for Bill’s wife.)

(It’s been a while since this post, but apparently someone broke out their thesaurus again…  so I couldn’t resist… again… and again.)

It’s Everything, Stupid!

James Carville famously stated “It’s the Economy, Stupid!”

He was Hailed at the time by the Press for his Simple Brilliance.  Simple Indeed… like his much ignored by the Anti-War on Women Soldiers “That’s what you get if you drag a $100 bill through a Trailer Park!”

Anyway… that was Clinton and this is Now.  (Well… Clinton is still dragging $100 bills through trailer parks… but I digress.)

Now is the Age of Obama and the Liberal Progressive Renaissance.

With the Awakening of the Socialist Left, it has ceased to be just about the Economy…

It’s now About:

Ebola Killing

NSA Spying

IRS Targeting

DHS Militarizing

EPA Regulating

NEA Dumbing

CDC Stumping

TSA Groping

FBI Sleeping

VA Wait Listing

Lobbyist Working

Bank Bailing

I Hate the Way Washington Works!

So we have to keep electing people who know how Washington Works and can Work that Way!

This is what is currently passing for logic.

Make no mistake, the Republican Establishment have a vested interest in convincing you that Non-Establishment Republicans are terrible, terrible human beings… and you MUST support Establishment Republicans because only They know how the System works in D.C.  Of course they will leave out the fact that they are Responsible for how the system works in D.C…

So the Current line, like the latest one offered by Time Magazine (I know, I know… yes, they are still around.), is trying to convince us that Republicans such as Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Scott Walker et al. will destroy the Republican Party.  Time is still pushing the idea that Ted Cruz’ filibuster trying to push a one-year delay of the employer mandate, which the administration did anyway, led to a government shut down (A shut down that nobody noticed, so the Obama Administration executed the ‘Monument Plan’ in which they roped off open air monuments trying to prevent access to the public… remember that?) which caused horrible things to happen to all of us.  By the way, nothing happened to any of us.

Anyway, In every Wild Accusation there is an element of truth…

Let me ask you, if you don’t like the way Washington Works then what about the Established Republican Party is Worth Saving? Why not destroy the parts we don’t like and build on the parts we Do?

Clearly the Establishment Wing, and Democrats who are used to getting them to do exactly what they want, are not interested in Destroying those parts of the Republican Party… because THEY ARE those parts of the Republican Party.

Folks, anytime a Liberal Media outlet, which is pretty much all of them, tells you that you should choose one person or another person lest you’re going to lose everything and the sky will fall, you should immediately suspect a ruse. The Leftist Media has no interest in Republicans being successful, ever.

And sadly, most of the Republicans have no interest in being successful either, at least not in any way We would define Success. Well over 80% of the Republican Party now in office is far from interested in Limited Government let alone Freedom and Liberty of the Individual. They just want to be the ones controlling the money so they can spiff their families, friends and donors.

For those of you thinking that is an endorsement of ANY Democrat, pull your head out. 100% of the Democrat party is interested in the very same thing, and they will do whatever it takes, including telling you which Republicans “stand the best chance” to win, to keep their power and continue to push their Socialist Utopian Dream thus leaving them in charge forever.

The only difference between Every Democrat and a Majority of Republicans is the ones with a “D” behind their name talk about their genuine Marxist beliefs behind closed doors… the Republicans are so stupid they fail to realize those are the same beliefs they are supporting.  I’m not sure what Establishment Republicans talk about behind closed doors, maybe that they were invited by a prominent Democrat to lunch?  Who knows?  Frankly I don’t care so long as we work to replace them with Non-Establishment Republicans.

So back to the point…

It’s exactly those Republicans who you are hearing the greatest number of “bad” things whom you should be most interested in. And the odds are you should also be voting for them and giving them money.

If they’re being made fun of, you should probably read for yourself what they are saying.  Odds are it’s not what being reported.

They, the Evil Non-Establishment Types who are “Peeing Inside the Tent”, are the ones who will stand any chance of changing things as they are.

The Republicans making enemies are the ones who need our support.

The Battle is within our own Party.

And those who like things as they are know it.

The Minimum Wage Effects Everybody

Artificially setting wages causes everything, up and down the supply chain, to get more expensive.  Way more expensive…

It causes the Buying Power of those it’s intended to help to go down. The “New” money they have never keeps up with the rise in prices of what they need to survive.

It causes the Employment Options for those it’s intended to help to disappear. The lack of a job has never helped anyone to provide for their family.

Raising the Minimum Wage puts even More Money in the Pockets of Big Labor Unions… and by Extension Socialist Democrats, who then cry for yet More and Bigger Government.

There is nothing good that comes from manipulating markets, regardless of what your economically challenged Liberal Progressive friends tell you.

Raising, Having, even Suggesting Minimum Wage Controls creates distortions in markets and ultimately hurts those who most need help.

If you think you support the idea you should think a little more and a little harder.

Stop this War on Women, Children and the Poor!

Stop this War on the Entire Nation.

Raising the Minimum Wage doesn’t help anyone.

It affects us all.

Got Mad Skillz?

And you ain’t got no J.O.B.?

Or

Taxpayer Financed Workforce Training is Stupid….

Or

Outsourcing totally makes sense…

Or

Let’s get back to the Fundamentals…

Anything other than a business directly training its staff is ridiculous, and a colossal waste of taxpayer money.

Only the Business, Corporation, LLC etc. knows what specific skills are needed at any specific moment. And only they have the ability to “re-tool” quickly enough to meet market demand and best practices. Thus, they are the only ones equipped to train personnel in a competitive environment because of their flexibility due to their market participation and the knowledge derived from it.  This was called “On The Job Training”.

Then why doesn’t this happen?

So why is “On The Job Training” a phrase of the past. In other words, what happened to the days when “unskilled” workers would be hired and trained to fill the desired positions within a company?

The Minimum Wage happened.

The Minimum Wage is why you have to go to school and GUESS what skills will be necessary to secure a job of your liking.

Decades have passed since “getting into”, “starting in the mailroom” or “getting in on the ground floor” of the profession of your choice was an option. Now those industries must hire “trained” or “skilled” employees because they cannot afford to spend any time paying you to learn on the job. It is simply too expensive… because there is an artificial Minimum of which they must pay.

This is why “unskilled” labor in other countries such as China CAN be employed to make things like Apple iPad’s because the wages are far lower and make it possible to build the time spent training the workforce into a product cost consumers are willing to pay.

This is why companies, who want to stay in business, outsource jobs…

If they could not outsource jobs… you would not have an iPad to play with in addition to many other things you take for granted.

Are you with me so far?

Outsourcing, because labor is too expensive in the U.S., enables YOU to have cool stuff you would otherwise NOT HAVE.

But instead of illustrating this simple truth for all to understand, we embrace ideas like “The Living Wage”. (As an aside… considering the “Living Wage” kills jobs as illustrated above resulting in “No Wage”, I’m not sure why anyone supports it. But too few out there seem to think past the warm, pleasant, feeling of the inane goo being poured into their ears. I digress.)

Another problem that should be understood is Big Labor’s relationship to the Minimum Wage/Living Wage. If you’ve ever been confronted by someone with a clipboard asking you to sign a petition to “raise the minimum wage” it is always a Union Member or someone being paid by a Union. Weird… right?  We all know Unions don’t get paid minimum wages!

Well, the Unions base their “scale” or pay rate upon whatever the minimum wage is.  So… by raising the Minimum Wage (A Wage hardly anyone other than first time, entry-level, workers earn) you are handing the Unions an exponentially larger raise. For example, a 25-cent increase in the minimum wage can hand the Unions a $1.25 raise in their base scale. Play around with that math for a second… we have lately seen the minimum wage raised from $5.25 to $7.50+ in some areas with Union base wages already at $35. So using this example, a $2.25 raise to a “Living Wage” gives the Unions a… wait for it… $11.25 raise! That’s a 30% increase in pay per hour to $46.25. That’s just for one hours worth of the same work they were doing prior to the law being changed.  That takes a Union member making $72,800 a year to $96,200 plus benefits!  Are we still talking about the “minimum wage” here?  No… no we are not.

What also happens is the artificially higher wages prevents companies from being able to afford to hire unskilled labor and train them to fulfill the need of the company.  And, in the dim thinking of the Unions, assures their employment at their already exorbitant hourly wage rates… right up until the company lays them off, or goes out of business completely.  Hostess Twinkie anyone?  Seems self-explanatory… but apparently it’s just complicated enough for the Union membership not to understand, so the Union dues keep pouring in.  Then pouring out to the Union Bosses and Leftist Politicians for their election campaigns.

So is it any wonder that jobs move overseas?

If you’re still not convinced… let’s take your $750 iPad and multiply the cost of the labor alone ($250) by 30% with a required 33% profit margin on each unit… now you would have to pay $1100… which you would most likely not do, thus too few people would be interested in buying it over a lap-top… so nobody would have one because there would be no profit available incenting Apple to make it.  If you doubt this and think Steve Jobs would have made it anyway just because he was a “caring”, “altruistic” humanitarian… read his book.

Can you imagine the cool stuff we would have if the government, and those people with the very best of intentions, would just keep their fingers, and noses, out of the Free-Market.

There’s no telling how great our lives might be…

We’ll never know, because this issue is too easy for the Demagogues to make anyone speaking the truth about a Government Mandated Minimum Wage out to be evil.  Which, frankly, illustrates the ignorance of the masses who allow themselves to be manipulated by the Unions and Politicians.  Too bad… it’s a huge loss for all of us, including them.

This is a very important concept to understand as it’s a building block in the foundation of basic economics.  Once you can wrap your mind around what is being explained here you are half way to fully understanding how the world works.

So if you got Mad Skillz and ain’t got no J.O.B. it’s your fault if you support a minimum wage

…Biaaoootch!

(Originally posted 111112.  But some things need repeating.)

Raise the Minimum Wage!

Cause Prices to Increase exponentially Up and Down the supply Chain!

Make Everything a Minimum Wage Employee Needs to Live like Housing, Food and Gas More Expensive!

Cause Large Employers paying Minimum Wage to Not Hire New Workers!

Cause Small Employers paying Minimum Wage to Go Out of Business!

Increase Overall Unemployment!

Increase the Welfare Rolls paid for with Money None of Us Have!

Initiate Cries from Economically Challenged Liberals for a New Even Larger Minimum Wage Increase!

Re-Elect the Above Liberals.

Repeat… Repeat… Repeat…

It’s only Fair.  A person just can’t support Themselves, Their Kids, Their Grand Kids and Their Great Grand Kids on Minimum Wage.

That is True.

So Reason must be Abandoned and the Principle of Substitution must be Ignored.

For the Two of You who Will be Watching the State of the Union Speech Tonight…

Here are the most Important Points you will not hear:

1. We made a Mistake attempting to Socialize the Finest Medical System in the World.  We must repeal it before it get’s any worse!
2. It’s Our Fault your Insurance Plan has been eliminated and to replace it with anything close will cost you 3-5 times more money.  Sorry about that.
3. Because of our Monetary Policy, and Soviet Style EPA regulations, Beef, Chicken, Pork, Eggs, Cheese and Milk prices have inflated to astronomical levels, but that’s OK because most of the Occupy Movement still have their parents buying their groceries. Oh, and hey, Rice is still pretty cheap… because we haven’t got that far yet.
4. The dollar you were barely able to save this year is now worth $.25 because we can never, never, never consider spending less so we just keep printing more money.
5. You’re Right.  We allowed that Diplomat and four special operators to die in Benghazi. But, At this point what difference does it make?  (This line should be delivered in a high-pitched screechy voice.)

6.  We do, in fact, conduct IRS audits on those of you who disagree with our Ideology.  So what?  You gonna to do somthin’ bout it?  That’s what I thought.

7.  The NSA will continue to collect as much data as possible on you even though you’ve never done anything wrong… because you just might.  Or we may want to go out with you.  Or refer to #6.

8.  Yes, it’s true, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, with a little help from Bill Clinton, attempted to collapse our economy by forcing banks to lend money to people who could never pay it back.  It was so remarkably ignorant that we decided to allow Barney and Chris to write the bill to make things even worse.  Because that’s what we do up here.  Oh yeah, and my friend Barney just got a job as a contributor on CNBC!  I know!  It blew me away too!

9.  The DHS is exactly the Federally Controlled Domestic Armed Forces we were never supposed to have.  Ever.

10.  We have never read a single Bill… never.  In addition, we have no intention of doing so.  Frankly most elected officials couldn’t point out what a bill looks like let alone tell you what’s in one.  So stop being ridiculous.

11.  When I tell you “I had No Idea that something was going on.”, I mean it.  I Really have No Idea about what goes on up here.  Seriously.  I Learn everything I know from CNN.  If it wasn’t for those guys and Anthony Bourdain I wouldn’t know where half of the 57 States were even located.  That Bourdain Guy is Cool isn’t he?  And Orca’s are in trouble!  Who knew?

12.  Finally, before we say goodnight I want to share with you, the American People, something we talk about often up here on the Hill.  You have suspected it for decades and it’s time to reveal it to you tonight for the first time!  We, the elected officials and particularly every unelected Bureaucrat in Washington, do indeed believe you folks are too stupid to make decisions for yourself… but we know you’re not watching anyway.  So, Good Night and God Bless.

Oh wait, wait, wait… hold on…  Raise the Minimum WageWar on WomenImmigration! Anyone who opposes me Hates Minorities… and Homosexuals!  And don’t forget, most of you are Racists.

Sorry, Now you can switch back to Big Bang Theory.  Good Night.

(This would be the first time I would win my SOTU Drinking Game with the words I, Me and MY.)

A Million Millionaires

(And the effort begins… “Obama’s Stocks“?  A Bloomberg “business” story with no mention of Inflation due to the Quadrupling of the Money supply.  Drudge led with this today… And I’m following up with a purposeful repost from 011513)

What you are about to see…

In a couple of years or less there will be news stories touting the flood of new Millionaires.  It will be attributed to the Brilliance of the President’s Socialist economic policies which are Keynesian in nature.

This will happen.

But what will be left out is that a Million dollars will buy you a loaf of bread.

While that will hopefully be an exaggeration, the cost of basic necessities has almost doubled since the President took office and there appears to be no end in sight.

The general public has… I would say “no understanding” but that might be generous… a negative, or less than any, understand of the relationship between a dollar and a dollars buying power.
One must first understand that the only reason a “Million Dollars” means anything is because of what it can buy… not because it’s a big number. I possess a Zimbabwe 1-Trillion Dollar note. This does not make me rich. It has no buying power, so aside from its representation of what we as a country are headed for, it has no value. It’s worthless. And… it’s WAY more than a Million Dollars.
We need to be ready for all the stories about recovery using inflated dollars to substantiate them. I hear the presses being inked as I tap this out.

Considering the Left is willing to equate anyone trying to stop irresponsible spending and the subsequent destruction of the greatest nation on the planet to slavery… you know the stories are being written right now.

Because no one wants to read about economic collapse…

Get your wheel barrows ready… you might have to go to the store for bread.

But we’ll be Millionaires!

And the Left will take credit… unless we see it for what it is, then they’ll blame everyone else.

It’s a trap!

Why is it so important to raise taxes on the rich?

Because you will all be “rich” soon…

While economists love to agree to disagree, there is not a single one that will tell you that there is no inflation ahead.  While they might argue about the severity, they are strangely unified in this one area.  It’s kind of scary once you understand what this means.  And we can tell them, from the street, that we are already seeing it in food and energy (electricity, gasoline etc.).

So what does this mean?

It means that your dollar is buying less.  Stay with me here, it’s not as complicated as many want you to think.  If you could buy a pound of ground beef for $3 a couple of years ago and now $3 buys you half a pound (because ground beef is $6) then your dollar is buying half as much… or… 50% less.  With me? Simple.

That’s inflation.  Once you get your mind around this then you understand that beef isn’t “going up”… it’s the same beef… the value of your dollar is going down!

This is further exacerbated by the Fed printing more and more dollars as well as the ignorant among us supporting hikes to the minimum wage.  Every time they are successful, they make your dollar worth less.  When there is more of it, it’s worth less… until worthless…  When it costs more to produce… it costs more…

And you are left thinking you got a raise but can’t afford anything with your ‘worth less’ money.

So, the urgency to raise taxes on “the rich” is a trap.  When the “real” inflation hits (I mean big, serious, ugly inflation) wages will go “up” in terms of dollar amounts.  You might think you are getting paid MORE (a raise!) because instead of $30K, your making $50K.  The problem is $50K only buys you what $30K did a few years ago… still with me?  The price of the stuff you want goes up way faster than the supposed increase in what you’re getting paid.

The administration will be telling us it’s a “recovery” because it might look like it if you’re not paying attention to how much everything costs…  (the stock market will “soar”.  You will be “making more”.  Not because you got a raise, or the companies you invest in are doing better, but because the dollar has become worth a quarter of what it was a couple of years ago.  It’s smoke and mirrors.)

Again… back to the point.  The administration wants to raise taxes on the evil “rich” because these rates are set to dollar amounts.  In other words; they will define rich as households that make over say… $100,000 a year.  Stop here and re-read the previous paragraph.

When you were making a household income of $60K because you and your spouse worked, you were not paying high tax rates… and you might have supported “taxing the rich” because in your opinion, those bastards make WAY too much money. Jerks…

Well, now that your making $100K a year (but it’s actually worth less than when you were making $60K a year… ) Congratulations, you’re RICH!  And those tax increases you thought were such a great idea because it’s “more fair” are now applying to you!  Surprise!  You have graduated into the higher tax rate even though you are scraping by because everything around you has become far more expensive.

The politicians know that if they don’t raise taxes NOW they will not be able too when the inevitable inflation sets in and all of us realize our dollar doesn’t buy much.

Stop!  Don’t allow yourself to fall into this trap.

Anytime you here the four letter “f” word (fair) a red flag should go up immediately.  Since there is no such thing as “fair”, they want something… what they want is more control over your money/production because they know they are smarter than you and will spend it the “right way”.  By the way… after 75 years, how’s that going?

We must all resist… vote the proponents of raising taxes out, regardless of party.  Replace these people with those who recognize government spends money in areas it has no business being involved in and sees cuts as the onlyy way to reduce the debt.  In this case, less is truly more.

We have seen this exact scenario occur in the 70’s, 80’s and now with the AMT.  This is not “crazy” talk… The politicians have continued to go back to the well because inflation is just complicated enough for the average persons eyes to glaze over.  (Primarily due to your public education.  Ever wonder why Leftists do everything they can to send their kids to private school?)  This has to stop.

So if we’re going to pay for something, I recommend paying attention not more taxes.

Be prepared for the response you will receive.

The Leftists/Statists will howl… they think every dollar government spends is sacred… so just like a teenager you catch doing something wrong, they’re going to scream, cry and cast blame on the accuser.  It will be shrill… It will be difficult to endure, but’s it’s OK.  We must stay firm, continue to explain and enforce the boundaries and lead by example.

Eventually they will grow up and be productive adults…

(There is an even more sinister aspect to this…  let’s say that I’m full of it and all of the economists are wrong.  The economy sees a full recovery and we begin to clear off the debt we’ve accumulated in order to survive…  you will still “graduate” into the new higher tax brackets.  It’s a win-win for those who want to control you and your money.)
