File Photo- Stephen King
Today I learned that Stephen King is still alive.
It was by accident as I happened to be reading a story regarding the Impeachment of Donald J. Trump and the very real possibility that some Democrats may not vote in favor of all or any of the charges/articles being presented to the Legislature for consideration.
Apparently Jared Golden (D-ME) has voiced the intent to vote for only one of the articles. Being that “ME” stands for Maine and that is where Mr. King is buried… sorry, not yet buried as of today… it hit close to home so to speak.
It turns out that President Trump’s use of power to dismantle 70 years of socialist utopian enterprise is offensive to Mr. King and as far as Mr. King is concerned represents an abuse of power. It also seems that Mr. King is in favor of U.S. Politicians forcing foreign companies to install their family members onto Boards of Directors which supply annual incomes in exchange for influence in U.S. policymaking. And because of this Mr. King recognized that President Trump’s request to investigate such behavior in the spirit of positive cooperation between the United States and Ukraine is clearly extortion on the part of President Trump.
All of that being said, Mr. King is adamant that Representative Golden (D-ME) vote for BOTH articles of impeachment because this Anti-Socialist Tyrant in the White House must be stopped. If Rep. Golden decides not to do so, Mr. King has promised to unleash the fury of the undead masses to defeat him during the next election cycle.
I feel sorry for Rep. Golden. It is an impossible task to suddenly have to fend off a preternatural enemy from the grave… no, sorry again… from some creepy isolated locale hidden in the snowy woods where even birds dare not fly…
I wish you luck, Jared.
If you suddenly see Kathy Bates, anywhere, contact the authorities.
As to Stephen King, I will add him back into the pool.

According to Nate Silver at 538 the Democrat Takeover of the House of Representatives is basically inevitable. If you ask Nate, the odds are 76% in favor of the Democrat Socialists.
If you’re not concerned…
Here was Nate Silver’s prediction for the 2016 Presidential Election:
HERE
Hmmm….
Are we being set up for “The Russians Meddled!” again? Or will it be “Trump colluded with the Chinese!”?

In every post-election interview the Leftists have been groping for Pragmatism.
They are Praying that Donald Trump is not an Ideologue, like President Obama, and will compromise with them on all policy decisions… until they can regain some power in the house, senate or both, two years from now.
You can smell the fear.
The Fear is not that Trump is coming for your children, gay, straight, hispanic, latino, black, asian, Irish, even the French etc.
The Fear is that Trump might actually put in place solutions regarding Immigration.
That’s it.
Just Immigration.
The Socialists in our country are afraid that he will indeed build a wall, fence, moat… whatever… and then move to the really scary part. They Fear he will create a work visa program which makes it easy, and legal, for our neighbors to the North and South of us to come here and work if they choose to. The Democrats realize that once legitimized in such a fashion these workers would no longer be paying Social Security under stolen Social Security Numbers… they would no longer be in the shadows… and most importantly, They would no longer be able to offer up the ridiculous argument that They should have the right to vote. And, if they do desire to become a citizen of the United States the debate now moves on to our actual immigration policies… That We Already Have… and don’t enforce. No more “They’re going to deport my Grandma!” Hogwash.
Whoa!
Adding insult to injury it would now fall upon the left to remove this work privilege from our neighbors if they ever want to save the Socialist Voting base for generations to come.
I dream of a number of things, but foremost is I dream of a wonderful explosion in private charities making available such things as education to ‘ex-pat Canadians and Mexicans’ who reside here for work. (If Mark Zuckerburg wants to fill Facebook full of brilliant Mexicans and Canadians… awesome!) I dream of an explosion of hard-working, genuinely terrific, people coming here from Mexico and Canada to make some money and help support their families abroad. I dream the United States will not only benefit from this new influx of workers, but those workers will benefit from enjoying the bounty provided by American Exceptionalism and begin wondering why their respective home countries don’t embrace Free Market Capitalism as Governing Theory.
However…
I predict that the Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, will become Mr. Filibuster in the Senate… because the Liberal Leftists cannot afford for any of this to happen.
I also predict the Democrat Party will be the party of “No!” to all things.
It is going to be an interesting 4-years… possibly 8.

Now that John Boehner has narrowly kept his Speakership, will he and his minions retaliate against those who were representing the people of their districts and voted against him?
Because that’s what he would be doing…
He would be retaliating against Us.
If this happens, does he think We will suddenly fall in behind him?
I would suggest that unlikely.
His best course of action may be to take this as a wake-up call and fly right. It’s well past time for more Constitutional Loyalty and less Bipartisanshitt.
But experience has shown us The Establishment Republicans will do the exact opposite of swinging back towards the Constitution…
We will see.
Update: No need to wait long. Boehner has now made it clear that he has no intention of listening to us.

In a Bipartisan Move the House of Representative should deliver on Barack Obama’s promise of the Most Transparent Administration in History.
It’s Time for the House of Representatives to Go to the People.
Whatever Bill they come up with on this eve of coming face to face with the debt limit they should post it online for all to see.
I believe I can speak for all of us when I say “We will Read It”.
Then, when the Senate begins slicing and dicing it, adding poison pills and changing the language, they House should modify the online post to reflect the change is (while leaving the previous language crossed out) and who is responsible for it… real-time.
Allow the American People to see what is going on.
And, prevent genuinely horrible Socialists like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid from charging up to the podium and declaring the bill dead on arrival because is terrible for the country and the people advocating it are terrorists… when none of us know what’s in the bill.
Not only would it allow us to judge for ourselves if what’s in the bill is truly “terrorism” as the Progressives like to describe anything which is anti-socialist, but it would allow for far more interesting questions posed to the likes of Pelosi, Reid and the President after they are finished with their inflammatory rhetoric.
By golly, if I’m the Boston Strangler I want at least to know why. Now THAT would be some faith and good credit.
Of course The House would have to step around Peter King and John McCain… because that’s just not how things are done in their preferred type of government.

Government is Not your Brother
Government is Not your Sister
And Government is Certainly Not your Parent.
Government is your Employee.
So, if you find out your Employee has committed you to Spending Obligations which have accumulated more Debt than you will ever be able to pay off what do you do?
Most Likely you would fire that Employee and Press Charges, priding yourself on your physical restrain. Of course those “Obligations” would not be realized…
Except… you can’t do any of those things.
And knowing this, the Employee then looks you right in the eye and says:
“I will not negotiate on anything when it comes to your full faith and credit!”
He then goes on to say:
“You need to pay out bills on time.”
Finally he concludes by demanding you extend his credit limit so he can buy more stuff since he has no money. Or else!
You already have less than nothing…
What do you do now?
Claim Bankruptcy?
Shoot Yourself?
Let Him have his way and wait for the inevitable Doom?
Let’s look at this another way…
Let’s say for the sake of the argument that Government is your Teenager. Your Teenager has maxed out all his credit cards, is driving a New Lamborghini and Lives in a Mansion. All of which he used Your credit to buy.
Preparing yourself for tears and excuses followed by apologies, you confront him.
He looks you straight in the eye and demands you buy him more stuff and then let’s you know about all the other stuff he has purchased which he expects you to pay for. Oh… and he tapped your phone, e-mail and bank accounts…
Here we are folks. This is not a party issue. There is plenty of blame to go around. But just because everybody shares some guilt here doesn’t entitle those now there to continue behaving in the fashion that got us here.
I know that would make them angry… I know it IS making them angry that we are even talking about it.
But it’s time for all of us out here to be Grown Up’s. Because there is nobody else who can stop them.

“I wish the House had more John McCain’s.”
While Senator McCain is, well, a Senator… I understand Schumer’s lament. He already has McCain in the Senate, the only obstacles for Democrat Socialists appear to be in the McCainless House of Representatives. If they could only have that cloning program up and running…
And, as far as Schumer is concerned;
With Enemies like McCain, who needs Friends?
I agree Chuck.

Since President Obama has positioned himself as the first everything but Black president (Obviously the first Black president was Bill Clinton), will he decide he hates women? And, most importantly, what will the girls on the view think?
The U.S. House of representatives is taking up “The Violence Against Women Act”. The President is threatening a Veto.
This is a game that is played often in Washington.
A legislator introduces a bill called something like… “The No Stomping on Puppies Act”. Then they include the most ridiculous increases in spending and pet projects for their friends and constituency… imagine tax money for shrimp on treadmills. In the case of VAWA the Senate threw in a bunch of stuff having nothing to do with women. Surprise!
So… when it is defeated in the House, or Senate, or Vetoed by the President the author of the bill and his party cry, yell and scream to the American people the opposing party are in favor of “stomping on puppies”. (Who isn’t? I mean puppies are so cute and innocent, who wouldn’t want to stomp on them?) It’s about dividing us, not employing reason. It’s so stupid it hurts your head to think about it, but this is what they do.
So inevitably the party opposing the bill then bemoans the fact that it is mis-named and not what the people think etc. etc.
They’re right of course, but paying attention requires making an effort and the American people have never been known to deliver that.
This is one of the reasons it has been so important for the Left to control the media, or at least the majority of it. As long as they have the megaphone they can determine who “Hates Women” or “Stomps on Puppies” and who does not. (This is also why the Left despises the relatively new anti-socialist or even socialist “skeptical” media.)
It will be my expectation that President Obama will Veto this bill but he will not “Hate Women”.
We’ll see.
