The Value of Outrage

Not the Value of Freedom.

It has become clear this morning our Public Schools have abandoned the mission of educating our youth in areas of study such as History, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Instead, the curriculum rests entirely within the Power and subsequent Value of Outrage.

Sadly, as is the new normal, the Media is providing fuel to this negligence.

I’m actively watching Florida Students being used as useful tools for a Socialist Left who would prefer the rights of American Citizens to defend themselves against their ideas be removed from our nation’s Bill of Rights.

I have yet to see a single student asked by our ‘interested’ press to explain the First and Second Amendments followed by the other Eight they shelter.

Frankly, I’ve yet to hear anything other than emotion nourished by ignorance.

No one likes it when our friends and family are murdered… regardless of how it happens.  This is not new to the Human experience.  And it will never go away.  Not ever.

But given this latest demonstration of a profound failure to understand what the idea of The United States means to the World I can only think it is no wonder that American Exceptionalism is now considered a Slur given we have made such a concerted effort to create so very many Unexceptional Americans.

If the Children are our Future, we should Care More.

I may be wrong…

I will wait.

However, I am accustomed to disappointment.  World History has provided that discomfort.

I am not drinking today… this is a sober moment.

Gun Control Now!

After decades I’ve had a change of mind….

I have suddenly found myself on the side of those crying for Gun Control.

It is clear we need it.

In fact, it is clear the world needs it.

I have a proposal that would have saved 100’s of millions of humans lives in the past and, without question, hundreds of millions in the future.

Since it is demonstrably clear that if Liberals ban guns only Liberals will have guns…
Ban all those individuals and groups whose ideology resides within the spectrum of Socialism/Liberalism/Mentally Insane.
That’s it.  I know, I know… seems too simple.  But most often the simplest answer is the “safest” answer.

So, the groups of persons forbidden to own firearms include but may not be limited to (as the Left often change their names due to the rest of us figuring out who they are…) Marxists, Fascists, Statists, Leftists, Socialists, Social Democrats, Democrat Socialists, Liberals (The U.S. definition), Neo-Nazi’s, Progressives, Democrats, Neo-Marxists, Anarchists, Monarchists, Theocrats, Eco-Terrorists, Oligarchs, Authoritarians, Totalitarians, Communists, Nihilists, National Socialists and of course National Democratic Socialists…. oh, and any Union Leaders or Community Organizers.

As far as determining who fits into these groups we can develop an easy to fill out psych profile administered by any gun dealer at their discretion.  If it comes back positive for the above mentioned groups ideology then the person should be refused a weapon of any kind.  In fact, the pen in their hand should be immediately removed from their possession as well as their belt and shoe laces.  Then their name should be passed around by the shop owner to every other gun shop within a 3500 mile radius.

While this would certainly not stop gun violence it would be a good start.  And, considering those committing the crimes, it would stem the tide of mass shootings while preserving our ability to protect ourselves from tyrannical government these people directly and indirectly promote should the need ever arise.  Perfect… Crazies don’t get guns and the Second Amendment remains intact for the brave who might actually defend the land of the free…

Then we can all drink a little easier.

Just another Act of Socialist Terrorism

This morning Rep. Steve Scalise was shot along with an aide and several others attempting to defend them.

The Shooter is one Jim Hodgkinson… a proud Socialist.

I am indeed supporting the idea that “crazy people” who shoot others are Liberal/Progressive/Socialists.

There are so few exceptions to the above that it fails to be worth mentioning, ever. Yet we never want to state the obvious because we are conditioned to believe ‘it could be one of “us”, a Free-Market, Individual Liberty Loving Capitalists’… well it can’t be. Because to be a Patriot you would necessarily not commit such an atrocity against another individual as a political act.

But we live in world where the Liberal Press salivates at the possibility of such Terrorist A-Holes being ‘Tea Party’ members or ‘Government Hating Conservatives’.  It is no wonder we feel conditioned to remain quiet when these things happen.

Enough.

It’s time to admit the obvious and be loud about it.  The ‘Crazy’ shooters reside squarely on The Left.

These shooters are always Socialist Terrorists, not Freedom Loving Americans who love and understand how and why this country was founded. World History, as well as our own, is replete with such individuals from The Black Hand to James Earl Ray, Squeeky Fromme, John Hinckley Jr. etc… etc… etc…

The only defense Leftists can mount for their deadly adherents is to point at Fascists… yes Fascists, a flavor of, wait for it, Socialism. For those of you who don’t know, or haven’t made an effort to understand, Fascists rest soundly on the “Right” side of The Socialist Ideological Spectrum.  When that rings hollow in the face of the facts, they scream CRAZY.  Both specious claims attempting to deflect responsibility for the oppression, death and destruction of humanity that is inherently tied to every flavor Socialism.

At the end of the day, we must all recognize that in The United States an individual cannot be a Patriot and a Socialist. To claim to be so is either ignorance or insanity… both of which are clearly dangerous.

So once again I will come out for Gun Control… to be determined on Ideological grounds.

Liberals, of any flavor, must not be allowed weapons of any kind.

It always ends badly.  Always.

(Think the above claim that Liberals commit the vast, vast, vast, majority of Gun Crimes is complete BS?  Let’s take a simple, and easy to execute, survey of those individuals who used guns to commit acts of violence and see where they place themselves on the ideological spectrum.  We have plenty of them in jail right now… I would guess they don’t have anything to lose or anything better to do than answer a few questions.  We just need a consensus for it to be “science”, right?)

This event, compiled with the Tragedy in Santa Barbara where a Young Liberal Criminal, Elliot Rodgers, killed 2 Women and 4 Men just a little over a week ago should be enough!

It’s time to Stand Up and Demand Action!

There are a couple of things we could make our politicians and representatives do in light of this.

1.  Declare Liberalism, and all of its faces and names, to be considered Criminal Insanity, then actively pursue the confiscation of anything which could be used as a weapon from those Progressives that own them.  The list should not be limited to Guns and Explosives… it should include knives, hammers, bats, sticks, machete’s, rocks, scissors, paperclips, garden tools, BMW’s, drawings of guns, pop tarts shaped to look like guns, the letters “G”, “U”, “N” and anything else they could harm themselves, or others, with.  Give the LAPD jurisdiction to confiscate these items statewide… or just shoot everyone they meet.

2.  Declare California a “No Travel” zone until California officials make substantive move to curb Liberal Violence.  The State Department could have this up and running right now if they took the threat seriously.  (There is doubt out here that they do, in fact, take the threat to our Children’s lives seriously.)

If you’re in California reading this, Move Now!  Get Out while you can!  Leave before it’s too late!

(Update: I’m Wrong!  Apparently the shooter (Ivan Lopez) was Mentally Insane….  That would have been my second guess…  But that certainly doesn’t rule out Terrorism just yet.  I also wonder what his favorite websites are?  Will we be lucky enough to get a Manifesto?  His Politics?  Stay tuned.)

Apparently the latest shooting Colorado is another young uninformed leftist with a gun.

At what point will we prohibit Socialists from possessing firearms?

It’s time to put a stop to Liberal gun ownership.  Private gun shops must start administering psych profiles with the intent to limit Liberals from owning and having access to weapons.

You’ve got PTSD.

The current discussions regarding the shooting death of SEAL Sniper Chris Kyle have not strayed from the subject of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD.

From some background, War has always been an extremely ugly, difficult and often horrendous experience for soldiers since the dawn of time. This experience has tended to change an individuals mindset which can present in many ways ranging from nightmares to overt paranoia. Many of the individuals having such problems have historically chosen to “self-medicate” though the use of whatever was available, often alcohol. After Vietnam we as a nation became determined to help these people with this problem.

But now there is a push to get as many Veterans as possible onto the roles of those suffering from PTSD. Part of this is good intentions and a genuine desire to help… part is that the programs are funded by the number of individuals utilizing the services… and part seems to be something else which is becoming evident during this latest Gun Control debate.

We are once again in the middle of a debate on gun control here in the United States. Why the debate exists is because we were founded with the intent the government was not to be trusted. That’s what the Second Amendment is about… not Skeet Shooting. But there are people out there who simply cannot imagine the government ever doing anything bad to its citizens. (I will allow the fact that the government has already spent us into oblivion to slip by…)
So this refreshed debate is now becoming a discussion regarding “Universal Background” checks. These background checks are offered as necessary because… well, I’m not sure why as they would not have kept the weapons out of the hands of the latest shooters. But an integral part of these “new and improved” background checks would be the addition of medical records of psychologically impaired individuals with the idea that they should not own guns.

It is no secret that veterans are included on the list of individuals DHS profiles as possible homegrown terrorists.

So how better to disarm those who would be most effective in resisting tyrannical government than to start with preventing our veterans from arming themselves legally.  Once PTSD is included in the class of psychologically impaired and would throw a flag during a “Universal” Background check they will be made criminals if they choose to arm themselves.

It will not be difficult for the U.S. to enter these folks into the database as the services they take advantage of are administered by the Veterans Administration (VA).  They are already on a list.

Let’s understand something… there are millions of people out there with “PTSD”.  There always will be, as bad things happen to people… and always will.  But just because someone was raped, in a bad car crash, mugged, lost a child or was in battle should not prevent them from owning a firearm.  In several of the above examples owning a firearm might actually aid in recovery.  But the focus on PTSD, to the exclusion of other possible motives in the Chris Kyle shooting has me concerned.  But this is not a new concern… I have watched with interest the evolution of these renewed calls for citizen disarmament.  It seems to me that there is a strange urgency to make sure everyone is “on the record” as having some kind of disorder.

Could it be possible that the final motivation of increasing the roles of those diagnosed with PTSD is to ultimately limit the ability of our returning warriors to possess firearms?  And if they do, make sure there are accurate records as to their whereabouts and what weapons they have if any?  Could it be just another piece of the puzzle?  Little by little our rights are erased with what appears to be reasoned arguments made with the stated goal of “saving the life of a single child” when it is actually about dismantling those parts of the U.S. Constitution that limit Government and prevent those “with only the best of intentions” to do TO us what they feel “best”?

The power to resist is a mighty deterrent to those who know their ideas are unpopular.  History is replete with examples.

I have to confess… I don’t like any of this.

In the end, We lost good men in Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield.  We lose many good people every day.  We must make sure our sorrow does not prevent us from recognizing what preserves our Freedoms… and what does not, and will not.

The ones we haven’t lost are some of the finest citizens this country has.  Don’t allow our Veterans to be marginalized by those who never appreciated them in the first place.

Want to Save Lives? Sell Machine Guns.

If you really want to save lives, you should support the open sale of machine guns without any caveats.

If you have ever learned to fire one of these you quickly find out that in the hands of the inspired but uninstructed they are one of the most useless weapons ever created.

And the benefit is… This type of weapon would most often attract those who are specifically NOT instructed.

The inability of the typical user to support, operate, let alone maintain, such a firearm with any effectiveness would most definitely save lives.

Essentially we would be “de-lethalizing” those who might most concern us.

(I look forward to your “rebuttal’s”, but you should be ready to defend them with substance.  For those of you who are familiar with the history behind the Machine Gun Act will be best equipped… but I’m ready for you too.  Should be fun.)

End The Lunacy!

Ban Lunatics!

Clearly we have an insanity problem here in the United States. Insane people are committing horrible acts of violence from drowning their children to shooting up schools. This madness must be stopped!

Are we going to simply accept this type of crazy violence as the norm?

Are we going to sit idly by and allow these people to continue victimizing the innocents when we have the power to stop them?

I propose we outlaw insanity and get these insane people off of the streets. Even if a very small number of these people commit such horrid acts removing all of them from society can only be considered beneficial.

If you have a Lunatic in your home, it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Some folks leave theirs loaded and lying around.  Seems like a waste of alcohol…

I’ve even heard of people keeping Lunatics under their bed within easy reach of the children… unbelievable.

All of that “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” crap is so outdated, it’s over 200 years old for God’s sake.  The founders lived in a world that could never have foreseen the level of insanity we have today.  We need to change the founding documents or… get rid of them altogether.  It’s about time.

What civilized purpose do crazy people serve? Sure, you can go visit that lunatic family member once a year or so but what “real” need do we have for them? You can’t protect your self with one… you can’t count on them assisting you in finding food if needed… they’re not even good for sport or entertainment. Well, other people’s crazy family can supply some level of entertainment, but would that really be missed and outweigh the general well-being of the world population?

So… Ban Lunatics!  If not for everyone’s safety, do it for our children!
