So there I was, Minding my own Scotch… and I get a message from X.  In the most perfunctory way possible he made clear it was time for me to dig myself out from the secure comfort I’ve been enjoying and return to the fray.

Well… Fine!

Who am I to disagree?

I have to say right up front, it has been an exciting few months.  From the ANTIFA-Facists to the complete fabrication of accusations used to slime a man who is far better than I, the Theater of the Absurd never ends.

The timeliness of X’s prompt is exquisite.  It just so happened that I was struck by something so profoundly stupid that I was seriously considering putting my drink down.  So let’s go there first…

A Gentleman by the name of Ruchir Sharma said the following on what used to be a go to network for business news;

“We may or may not believe in [American exceptionalism], but the financial markets have never believed in it to such an extent,” added Sharma, head of emerging markets and chief global strategist at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.”

Please read that again real quick.

So…

I would ask Mr. Sharma what American Exceptionalism has to do with a booming economy?  If he is speaking to Property Rights and the influx of foreign investment which is recognizing the United States as a Safe Haven for their wealth, then okay… maybe… but I’m not sure he is.  I believe he is conflating the financial success of the current economic reforms, which are returning the United States to its position as the World Leading Economic Engine, with Freedom and Liberty of the Individual.  I would then remind Mr. Sharma that it is the latter which constitutes “American Exceptionalism”.

Why is this such a big deal?

It’s a big friggin’ deal because the Socialist Democrats have been diligently dumbing down our population for decades in the hopes ‘educated’ individuals like Mr. Sharma will intentionally or unintentionally continue to do their work for them.  Sadly, they have been very, very, successful.

However, in his defense let’s assume Mr. Sharma knows what American Exceptionalism is.  Now let’s take the beginning of his assertion… “We may or may not believe in [American Exceptionalism]…”.  I then have to ask who it is that does not believe in Freedom and Liberty of the Individual?  You speak as if you know or this opening qualification would not be necessary.

Yes, yes… I know these people are out there Hammering away at the Malleable Proletariat but I like to have them on the record so we all know who they are which is why I ask.  (One of the reasons I’ve been hiding out around the Barnes and Noble in Tyson’s Corner, aside from all the TOTALLY COMMON and super awesome Gang Rape Parties that EVERYONE has ALL THE TIME around the short hop to Bethesda, is watching how Trump’s mere existence is bringing these Socialist Democrat A-holes out into the open.)

So Who is it, Mr. Sharma, that does not believe in American Exceptionalism?  Who is it exactly that does not believe in the Freedom and Liberty of the Individual and the power inalienable rights has unleashed upon the World propelling the United States to the most powerful country on Earth in just a short few hundred years?  Who are these people who believe a person’s rights are bestowed upon them by Government made up of fallible, elitist, narcissistic beings and not God… or the Universe… or simply because they Exist?

Who?

Name names…

It’s okay, Mr. Sharma, I know you can’t do this for several of reasons.  1.)  You may be one of those people.  2.)  You like your paid gig and wish to keep it by specifically not offending those fallible, narcissistic elitists who employ you.  3.)  Both 1 and 2.

So allow me to say what I’m hoping you meant to say.

The Current Economic Boom occurring in The United States is substantially due to the removal of barriers upon the Engine of Capitalism which were erected by Socialist Scum as they believe it’s not ‘Fair’ that Free (er) Markets are so damned successful and restraining them is the only hope for their foolish Command and Control Economic Idiocy to catch up.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I’m sure that’s what you wanted to say…

The American Renovation

We are at a turning point.

We are being faced with the realty of our circumstance. We have found ourselves standing at The Edge of the Abyss… and staring down.  The United States has wandered far afield from our Foundation of Individual Liberty and Freedom. We, as a people, have abdicated our power to an ever-growing bureaucracy made up of fallible human beings who view themselves as better and wiser than those they are tasked with representing. Our understanding of government has been intentionally perverted by those who wish us to see them as Philosopher Kings and demand we look to them for care without question or debate.

If this Inauguration of a New President represents a change, we must hope it is a return to the Enlightenment Philosophy so long ago abandoned. While many correctly identify the long slow path that has brought us here, too few can point in the direction we must steer this country returning it to The Greatest Experiment in Self Rule the World has ever known. However, for those who are strong enough to look, the direction is plain to see.  We don’t need New Answers, we only need recognize the Correct Answers we already possess.

We should remember that it is not a man who the Founders wished us to follow… as Freedom and Liberty are not possessions any Man can Give.  They are possessions every Man must Take and Defend.  Our Country is an Idea, it is an Ideology. It is built upon the Self Reliance, Freedom and Liberty of the Individual. It is the home of Equality of Individual Opportunity, not Individual Outcome. It is Transitory Power and the Checks and Balances designed to Limit our Government’s ability to Oppress. It is Government from the People not Upon the People. It is enumerated defense of every Citizen intentionally Limiting those lent power.  All, when practiced together, creates a Shining City on A Hill the rest of the World’s souls can long for, emulate and demand.

As we watch the Fascist Faces of “Tolerance” Burn Flags and Break Windows we must wonder when will they fire the first shot? When will their innate Socialist/Statist drive to violently oppress, control and destroy Freedom and Liberty defeat all semblance of Reason?

If the words of one Donald Trump rise above rhetoric and result in action… if those words represent an awakening in the American mind resulting in movement… History will record…

So the head of the RNC was out ‘Rallying the Base’ by shouting how the Republicans will “Stop the Un-American Amnesty” planned by President Obama.

I have to ask…

What about the Un-American Socialization of Healthcare?

What about the Un-American use of the IRS to target Political Enemies?

What about the Un-American and unconstitutional invasion of Privacy actively being committed by the NSA when they archive every bit of information you receive and produce?

What about the Un-American embrace of myriad Socialist policies?

What about the Un-American education being forced upon our Children?

What about the Un-American support of voter fraud?

What about the Un-American attack on the Electoral College?

What about the Un-American neglect of honoring the Constitution?

What about the Un-American undermining of our Allies Abroad?

Nowhere but here?

An incredibly common mistake that Americans make is to believe everyone else around the world has tried our form of government and it has failed.

The closest thing the world has seen to our Republic was Rome, and they fell because of internal decay.

While the rest of the world might profess to have tried it, they have not. Not once… ever.  World history is, however, littered with failed Monarchies, Dictatorships, Oligarchies, Socialist Utopias and myriad other attempts at the Communist Paradise.

Currently these paradigms are at a state of implosion. So desperate are they to hold on to power they have taken to blaming “Capitalism”.  Like a teenager caught in a lie, the screaming gets louder and they to find ways to blame you… or worse, call what they are doing “Capitalism” in a desperate attempt to retain their power and avoid the blame themselves.

This makes sense because who else are they going to blame?

The rest of the world, and all of our own home grown Socialists, blame Free-Markets, Individual Liberty and Freedom for the woes they are responsible for creating…

Why do we seem so sure that “The American Way” will survive?

Why do we believe that we judge each other based on the content of our character?  Is that true?  Or, have we institutionalized racism… just like the rest of the world?

Why do we think that all reasonable people see the logic in Freedom and Liberty of the Individual through a Democratically elected, Constitutionally Limited, Government when our own leaders state outwardly that the “system is broken”?  And, why do these same politicians want to change it into something “new” and not restore it to its previous brilliance, the brilliance they supposedly wish still existed?

What makes us different from the rest of the world?

No platitudes!  What exactly?

Why do we think those we have put in office, those who overtly disregard, ignore, work around, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, would defend the Republic?

Do you believe it is because the office we installed them into requires they swear to uphold the it?

Have their actions demonstrated they take that oath seriously?  Or does it seem they only uphold the parts they like… and then, only when they like them?

I’m serious here… Why do we think that?

What happens to these people when they violate that oath?  What happens to these people when they break the law?  Anything?

What does illegal mean?  What does it mean for you compared to those we have given a modicum of power?

Is this the America you think you live in?

Does the reality meet the expectation?

Is Socialism the answer?  Are we all to be ruled?

Or, is Individual Liberty the answer?  Are we to rule ourselves?

Pour yourself an adult Beverage and ponder these questions.

Edward Who?

It struck me after only a few minutes of Watching Brian Williams in a Moscow meeting room that I just don’t care about Edward Snowden.

I really don’t.

I thought to myself “What if this guy were to come back to the U.S.?” and “What if this guy has spilled secrets to Russia?” and “What if a Giant Sexually Frustrated Purple Rhinoceros charged into the room and Raped this Guy?” with all the same answer of “So What?”

Even if the Rhino raped Snowden I don’t think I would have cared.

In the End,

It’s not about Snowden… it has always been about a Government that has become too powerful and unchecked.

It is about Privacy… Liberty… and Freedom of the Individual.

Your Freedom is directly correlated with your ability to remain anonymous.

Whoops.

So I have to believe this is all Political Theater!

Snowden did us all a service. But he is neither a Hero nor a Traitor. He’s just some dude who did what he thought was right.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if our Government was Full of people like that? People that did what they thought was right in terms of preserving our Freedoms and Liberties by making sure the very place they worked remained constrained and in check at all times?  Wouldn’t it be comforting if those in charge of keeping us safe spent more time protecting Us from our Government than protecting our Government from Us?

Hillary and I Agree on Something…

Or, In The Garden of Good and Evil.

Why do Progressives have such a difficult time with Good vs. Evil?

This came to mind after reading Hillary’s statement regarding Putin’s Actions resembling Hitler… A statement I happen to agree with on a number of levels, from the fostering of National Identity by positioning the World as an antagonist (Very Machiavellian) to Vlad’s demonstrated wish to Expand his countries borders under the guise of “protecting” Ethnic Russians.  I personally made such a statement several days ago.

But what I can’t quite reconcile is Why Now is a Prominent Democrat seeing it Clearly? Well, I can when it comes to Hillary 2016… But I still find it interesting as a larger question.  Hillary First…

So Why would Mrs. Clinton suddenly find Putin’s Socialist/Fascist Behavior to be Hitleresque?

There are exactly Two reasons.

A.  It’s election time and she knows the rest of us find Putin’s behavior repugnant. It’s always good to be on the same side of stuff as the people whom you want voting for you.

B.  It’s yet another attempt to separate the behavior of Fascists from the “wholesome, for your own good, because we care about you” Democrat Socialism.

But What about the Rank and File Socialists?  How do They deal with Putin’s actions?

For decades the Left in this country has faced difficult Positions to Champion.

They have made Excuses for what is demonstrably the Single most Destructive Ideology the planet has ever known in terms of Human Life or Pointed a finger at the only Economic Paradigm, Free Market Capitalism, which has lifted Billions out of Poverty, Saved Lives and Protected the Planet then Screamed “Exploitation”.

Every moment of every day Liberals must defend the very Ideology which has wrought Death and Destruction of all that is Good and then blame Sociaty’s Ill on Society itself.  This fact explains their difficulty with Good and Evil when they try to identify it.  It explains why they find themselves on “The Same Side of History” as Lenin, Mao, Stalin, Chavez, Castro, Guevara, Stalin, Ho Chi Min, Pol Pot, Mugabe, FDR, etc. etc. etc.  Their excuses have necessarily been born of Moral Relativity, Pragmatism and preservation of Power.

The Horror’s practiced by the above Leaders, and Millions of their Followers, must always be excused with the Good intentions which precipitated them or the Failure of the Individual.  The innate flaws of Man must be personalized and frozen… then isolated in order to not find Responsibility in the Ideology… in Themselves.

The Forced Failures of Socialist Planners is excused by blaming Individuals who are not smart enough to understand the benefits, Ephemeral acts of the Universe whose Consciousness fails to recognize the Brilliance of Those Who Proclaimed the Prescience of knowing the way forward for the Unwashed Masses, or Both.

As far as Hillary seeing Putin for what he is, She remains a Socialist.

Hillary longs to be the Leader of Those Who Make Excuses for Evil.  To Be a Liberal… She Must.

While It’s Interesting that One Who Champions Force recognizes It as Evil…

Unless a Change of Mind Occurs and That person decides to Champion the Individual, in other words What is Good,

It just isn’t Very Valuable.

Name a Victory for the Individual beyond what the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights attempts to guarantee.. I’ll wait.

Waiting for the next Progressive Scheme to be implemented so you can walk to a microphone a say “Darn it… We tried.” is unacceptable.

Since you seem to emulate the Democratic Socialists in almost every other arena you should have taken the single most important page out of their play book.

Yet those of you we have sent forward to Champion Liberty, Freedom and Free Markets have adopted the position of concession after concession resulting in decade after decade of Defeat.  You have now embraced the Socialist concept of Balkanization as the only viable way to get your guys elected.  In fact, the person mainly responsible for this fundamental shift from Communicating Freedom and Choice to leveraging groups against each other is your guy Karl Rove.  For his Two Skin-of-the-teeth Presidential wins you gave him the odd nickname of “The Architect”.  (At the time I suggested “Guy Who Barely Wins Elections” but apparently it just wasn’t catchy enough.  Maybe too long, maybe too Native American?)

In the end, the only thing you’ve made clear for us is You RINO’s would rather play golf than dismantle all that threatens the Liberty of the Individual.  Which, makes YOU a threat to the Liberty of the Individual.  Pretty simple.

So there’s your answer Gentlemen and Ladies.  YOU are Why the TEA Party exists.  Pat yourselves on the back.

But, of course, your denial will prevent you from seeing the truth.

Along the same lines, it’s interesting to watch you tell the World the TEA Party needs to come over to your house to play.  The idea of compromising one’s principles, whether inside or outside of your party, as an acceptable approach to defending the Constitution is appalling… but I understand your confusion considering it is now all you know.  (Right John?)

Here’s how it goes… send out members of both parties in addition to “respected” advisors to express in no uncertain terms that Edward Snowden is a Traitor. Sorry… IS A TRAITOR!

The practical effect of this is anyone who thinks he did the right thing, as I do, must also be a traitor. Dang… sorry again… A TRAITOR!

OK. Where do I start?

Let’s start with Snowden.

I’ve made it clear that I am ambivalent regarding Snowden save his doing what should have been done by hundreds of others associated with the process of Domestic Spying. I doubt very seriously should Snowden and I find ourselves sitting across from each other having tea that we would have much in common. I also suspect that our greatest commonality, should there be one, is how much we do not agree on.

Now let’s talk about the idea that having all of your e-mail read, phone calls listened to, purchases tracked and movements recorded is a “good thing”.

I don’t think so.

Call me old fashioned… but I’ve watched the Lifetime Channel and have learned that Stalking is Bad.

I don’t like knowing private companies do it to me.

I REALLY don’t like the idea that a Government has been doing it to me. It is why I have not, nor will ever, elect to move to China… or Russia… or any other Honestly Socialist Country.

I am truly blessed to have been born here.  I would like to be able to pass that blessing on to all who seek it… forever.

So the idea that we should accept this “balance” between our freedom and security, to me at least, is ridiculous. The very premise is inane… to me. (I keep having to reiterate “to me” because apparently it is a wonderful idea to those in charge of things, as well as a bevy of useful idiots. One can only guess why those in charge of things would be so excited to possess such a library of information with the protection of law to use it anyway they wish.  Hmmm…)

It is, and has always been, my assertion that your Freedom And Liberty is directly correlated to your ability to live your life anonymously.

And, the only way to assure you remain Free… is to make sure the only power we give those who we’ve given the ability to apply Force, the Government, never establish such a Library. (Let alone legitimize it’s use of such information in a way which targets innocent citizens of our once great country. I say “once great” because it is an indictment of where we are that we are even having this discussion.)

When everybody agrees on something… such as the Patriot Act… you should be very afraid.

They’re out agreeing now on Snowden.

I might recommend following a more appropriate course by staying quiet.

But clearly there are powers behind the scene who are very concerned by the direction the American Mind is headed in terms of not warming up to the concept that 18-year old’s at the IRS can know everything about you with a few key strokes. They are worried that we don’t quite like the idea that our spy’s are spending time spying on us… not just the bad guys.

According to the latest crop of “authorities” jumping in front of camera’s, we must get our minds right.

Unless we ARE the bad guys?

Well, this is what they are implying… and if they expect my support, ever again, they better cut this crap out.
