You?
Apparently not. If you have been watching any part of the hysterics associated with the Fiscal Cliff and the subsequent “deal” struck, everyone owns you… particularly those in government. If you’ve been able to remain sober, read on… pardon me if I slur my typing.
Let’s begin with the basics.
There has been much confusion as of late in regard to what a “principle” is.
We supposedly seek “principled men” to occupy political offices, but then we chastise those who demonstrate those qualities.
We demonize those few who stand up for the principles we think we subscribe to… so let’s figure this out.
Let’s start with the definition of the word:
prin·ci·ple
[ prínssəp’l ]
- basic assumption: an important underlying law or assumption required in a system of thought
- ethical standard: a standard of moral or ethical decision-making
OK… so you should ask yourself why is it so important for President Obama to get the Republicans in Congress to concede on raising taxes even if it’s only for certain “other” people… (for the moment.)
The Principle in question; Do you own your money and by extension yourself?
Capitalism says; “Yes, you own your money and because of that you own yourself.”
Socialism says; “No, you do not own your money… and because of that everyone other than you owns you, if they believe it benefits them.” And who ever they are always think it benefits them.
Once you concede the principle that the Government owns the money, and you don’t, then everything is good for the continued march to Socialism. This is why tax increases are so important to the Left even though they are effectively meaningless in regard to reducing the deficit, let alone the debt. It reinforces the Primary Socialist Principle that Government owns the money and thus by extension owns you. When they say “Is it unreasonable to ask the rich to pay a little more?” what they are actually saying is “Is it unreasonable to force someone to pay more?” They are hoping you keep saying “No, not at all… seems fair.”
In other words, the Democrat/Socialists (and a number of Soft Socialist Republicans) need you to think it is OK to take more money from “other” people. They need you to believe that we should take more money from whomever they choose, right now “the wealthy”, in order to reduce the deficit… or whatever cause du jour. (Note… they will not mention “The Debt” which is truly what will destroy the U.S. soon and suddenly.) They need you to concede that they have the power not to cut out-of-control spending but rather to take your, their, somebody’s money… and then give it to whomever they see fit, because it “belongs to all of us”. (It’s worth noting they often see fit to give your money to donors running unmarketable products produced by solar energy companies which quickly go out business.)
This is a very simple Principle to understand.
Either the money you possess is yours or it is not. Either you allow government to use some of it, or they allow you to use some of it.
So which is it?
There has been some discussion regarding certain Republicans who voted for this “deal” avoiding the Fiscal Cliff. (I will remind everyone, since language seems to be so important, that this deal does nothing to avoid any fiscal cliff. The United States is still speeding unencumbered towards its fiscal demise.) I would offer that holding Republicans accountable during this charade is exactly what needs to be done. It’s time we start talking about our representatives by NAME. Far too many of us assume it’s someone else’s elected official who voted for this or that and never their own… it’s time to change that. It is also assumed that certain politicians who possess a brand image that suggests “Fiscal Conservancy” that they could not/or would not approve of such a ridiculous deal. These are particularly the representatives that need to be challenged as to what Principled Position they operate under. (Like the Hurricane Sandy bill offered 1/2/13 which was full of crappy earmarks and pet projects… we should be outing the authors of this wanton spending for some good old-fashioned hazing if not outright public condemnation.)
What happens to most of our politicians once they reach DC is they abandon all of their principled rhetoric in favor of pragmatism.
This is another reason the Democrat/Leftists in our government see it as crucial to get the Republicans to concede that government owns the money… not you. The Socialists that occupy our government are terrified of those certain individuals that will not opt to be “pragmatic” but instead stand on principle. The Leftists cannot allow anyone to fill a seat in the house, senate and certainly not the presidency who cannot be bought under the paradigm of pragmatism.
Those genuinely standing for the first, simplest and most fundamental principle of Individual Liberty and Freedom must be destroyed… not just destroyed politically but also in the minds of the common American voter… lest the Socialists lose their power.
Those who will fight to possible electoral defeat must be criticized, ridiculed and ostracized by not just the Leftists in the Democrat Party but also those Leftists in the Republican Party. The Media is always ready and willing to help in this effort… lest they lose their power.
You must understand this. If you are Free then you must constantly remind those occupying government that you are allowing them to use some of your money, not the other way around. Otherwise, they will be coming for your money… or in their mind… their money that they have lent you. And they will use Force to get it… that’s what taxation is. Which is why you go to jail if you don’t pay up.
You must also understand that we should never be excited for politicians to “get along” and “get something done”… There is a reason they call each other the “opposition” and it’s a GOOD reason. You should always be very afraid when they “come together” for your supposed benefit. Because it never is.
So don’t be afraid to put Boehner, Ryan and the rest of them on notice. And if they don’t listen start sending your campaign donations directly to primary candidates opposing them. The future of our country depends on it.
Cheers…

So we have to keep electing people who know how Washington Works and can Work that Way!
This is what is currently passing for logic.
Make no mistake, the Republican Establishment have a vested interest in convincing you that Non-Establishment Republicans are terrible, terrible human beings… and you MUST support Establishment Republicans because only They know how the System works in D.C. Of course they will leave out the fact that they are Responsible for how the system works in D.C…
So the Current line, like the latest one offered by Time Magazine (I know, I know… yes, they are still around.), is trying to convince us that Republicans such as Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Scott Walker et al. will destroy the Republican Party. Time is still pushing the idea that Ted Cruz’ filibuster trying to push a one-year delay of the employer mandate, which the administration did anyway, led to a government shut down (A shut down that nobody noticed, so the Obama Administration executed the ‘Monument Plan’ in which they roped off open air monuments trying to prevent access to the public… remember that?) which caused horrible things to happen to all of us. By the way, nothing happened to any of us.
Anyway, In every Wild Accusation there is an element of truth…
Let me ask you, if you don’t like the way Washington Works then what about the Established Republican Party is Worth Saving? Why not destroy the parts we don’t like and build on the parts we Do?
Clearly the Establishment Wing, and Democrats who are used to getting them to do exactly what they want, are not interested in Destroying those parts of the Republican Party… because THEY ARE those parts of the Republican Party.
Folks, anytime a Liberal Media outlet, which is pretty much all of them, tells you that you should choose one person or another person lest you’re going to lose everything and the sky will fall, you should immediately suspect a ruse. The Leftist Media has no interest in Republicans being successful, ever.
And sadly, most of the Republicans have no interest in being successful either, at least not in any way We would define Success. Well over 80% of the Republican Party now in office is far from interested in Limited Government let alone Freedom and Liberty of the Individual. They just want to be the ones controlling the money so they can spiff their families, friends and donors.
For those of you thinking that is an endorsement of ANY Democrat, pull your head out. 100% of the Democrat party is interested in the very same thing, and they will do whatever it takes, including telling you which Republicans “stand the best chance” to win, to keep their power and continue to push their Socialist Utopian Dream thus leaving them in charge forever.
The only difference between Every Democrat and a Majority of Republicans is the ones with a “D” behind their name talk about their genuine Marxist beliefs behind closed doors… the Republicans are so stupid they fail to realize those are the same beliefs they are supporting. I’m not sure what Establishment Republicans talk about behind closed doors, maybe that they were invited by a prominent Democrat to lunch? Who knows? Frankly I don’t care so long as we work to replace them with Non-Establishment Republicans.
So back to the point…
It’s exactly those Republicans who you are hearing the greatest number of “bad” things whom you should be most interested in. And the odds are you should also be voting for them and giving them money.
If they’re being made fun of, you should probably read for yourself what they are saying. Odds are it’s not what being reported.
They, the Evil Non-Establishment Types who are “Peeing Inside the Tent”, are the ones who will stand any chance of changing things as they are.
The Republicans making enemies are the ones who need our support.
The Battle is within our own Party.
And those who like things as they are know it.

“…And All of us Feel it.”
(I’m bringing this post back because we’re all about to submit our 2013 taxes. Most of us will see our taxes go up. While certain Establishment Republicans are actively trying to negate the Sequester cuts which were the only element of fiscal responsibility to have occurred in the past 10 years. I just want you all to think about the additional money you’ll be sending to Washington while Washington tries to protect Their ability to Waste it.)
This should be the only sentence spoken for the next week by Republicans. (It was not….)
No matter what defense is offered up by the Liberals, the above line should be repeated by every Conservative who jumps in front of a camera.
We should also demand that sequester happens. Simple.
For those of you who are afraid of the mandatory “cuts” because they may effect Defense… I will remind you that Money is Fungible.
FUNGIBLE
Definition
1. tradable under contract: describes commodities that can be traded or substituted for an equal amount of a like commodity, usually to satisfy a contract
1. something traded or substituted: a commodity that is fungible ( often used in the plural )
[ Late 17th century. < medieval Latin fungibilis < Latin fungi “perform” ]
fun·gi·bil·i·ty NOUN
What this means is that money can be moved around by the agencies from other programs deemed less important by Defense Administrators. Don’t be fooled… yes the cuts may be “across the board”, but they do not prevent those in charge from moving money around to Preserve/Save those programs and operations they believe to be integral to our security.
They will scream. They will Cry. They will Stomp their Feet.
They will tell you that the Sky will fall, the Terrorists will win and Global Warming will kill us all.
But you must understand… they will act as if the world is ending because their budgets WILL be cut. (Think about a child who has ten lollipops and you take one away… it will scream bloody murder and cry for days. Similarly, once the Government has your money it believes it’s theirs to be wasted as they see fit.)
Don’t fall for this Artificial Emergency.
Let me ask you, Isn’t a government that pays attention to how it wastes our money what we all want?
Well this is just a start. (Yes, I would have preferred to begin with out of control entitlements but this will have to do. I’m no fan of waste whether it’s entitlements or defense… or anywhere else.)
So let it go… don’t succumb to the hype… and remind everyone you see that they are paying more in taxes even though they thought their “friends” in Washington were only going to “hurt” the rich… Surprise! Then let them know their “friends” want to make it even worse. And remind them that all of this was Obama’s idea. Then, remind them that “Yes We Can, Cut our Way to Prosperity! Yes We Can!” Just like they do at home… and are having to do right now, now that their taxes are going up thanks to the people they voted for.
For once he should be a victim of his own bad ideas… even though it’s not the worst idea, and certainly not the one I would choose for him to be a victim of. I would probably start with a little redistribution sprinkled with Obama Care finished with a heavy dose of “Fairness” as defined by me. Anyway…
This is one of those times when the best thing to do is nothing.
Because… “The Democrats already got their tax increases.”

And Apparently it also passes for News.
The search for Flight MH370 continues….
Considering the Ocean is littered with debris from hundreds of years… possibly longer, why does the sighting of it occupy the attention of the News Channels, Programs and Networks?
Is it Easier than tackling tougher Issues like:
The Soviet Invasion of Eastern Europe?
The NSA’s Domestic Spying and Keith Alexander’s latest Interview where he States unequivocally that not a single person at the NSA has done Anything Wrong… Ever… Not Once… except for those who did, those one times…?
The IRS targeting Political Opponents of the President?
The BATFE sending Weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels in an effort to create a Case for more Domestic Gun Control?
The Skyrocketing Debt and the Fiscal Malfeasance it Represents?
The fact that Keynesian Economics has Not Lead to the Economic Recovery the Leftists in our Government Promised it Would?
The Destruction of the Greatest Health Care System in the World because Progressives want Control over the 6th of the Economy the didn’t have before?
The Utter Betrayal by our Elected Representatives to Look Out for the People by taking the time to actually Read Legislation before voting for it?
The TSA wanting to Establish Itself as a Federally Sanctioned Domestic Police Force by Arming it’s Agents?
The Federal Government wanting to Secure the ability to decide Who is and Who isn’t a “Journalist” in order to control the only Private Entity with the Resources Capable of Maintaining a Cynical Eye on Their Behavior?
The DOJ refusing to prosecute voting illegalities because they just don’t agree with the Law?
The DHS even Existing when We already have the FBI and the CIA which were designed to be separate for very, very, very good reasons?
The Executive Branch unilaterally creating Law extra-Constitutionally?
The Un-accountability associated with a Specific Past Senator and Specific Past Congressman when they sat atop the effort to Collapse the United States Financial System?
I could go on….
But these Mysteries don’t require cloudy satellite pictures of lightly colored blobs with which a Dedicated Journalist can Follow a “Breaking News” graphic.
So I’ll just stay drunk and stop asking questions. Flying Monkeys did it anyway…

In fact, The Establishment wing of the Republican Party has had 60 years of chances… and they are responsible for where we are as a Country.
I just listened to an analysis of what occurred over the Government Shutdown debate and the Debt Ceiling Debacle. The conclusion of the commentator was that “the old guard” of the Republican Party is putting down the rebellion of the youngsters newly elected to office. He went on to say that the “old guard” agrees with the newly elected representatives but they have worked hard to set up their seniority and simply don’t agree with the tactics the new guard is employing.
Well… The old guard’s tactics have landed us with a Bankrupted Entitlement system, an uncontrollable Spending Habit and a Government Bureaucracy which is unanswerable to the electorate.
There is NO objective assessment of the actions taken over the last 60 years by the Establishment Republicans that could lead one to believe they AGREE with the new guard in any way. In fact, the only conclusion a person could come to is that the Establishment AGREES with the Leftists in the opposition party… because they are rewarded by that party for doing so, and then by the folks at home because they are not paying attention.
We are here precisely because of the Old Guard of the Republican Party. Period.
Socialist ideas never win favor when understood. This is why the Old Guard of the Republican Party is so important to the Democrats. They need them in order to advance their agenda.
Folks, we are in deep. Very, very deep.
The Karl Rove’s, Dana Perino’s, John McCain’s, Mitch McConnell’s, Peter Kings and the rest of the Establishment Club are to blame.
And subsequently, WE are to blame for our inattentiveness. We are to blame for sending them back to office year after year. WE are to blame for not learning what Freedom and Liberty of the Individual means as intended by the Creators of this country. WE are to blame for not understanding Natural Law.
All of our ignorance has allowed the Establishment Republicans to come to power and aid the Liberal Progressives reshape this country into a demonstrably horrible European Social Democracy. Our ignorance has allowed our supposed representative to ignore the Constitution and the limits specifically written within it to protect us from them.
I’m finished pointing the finger at the Leftists. While needing to be defeated, they do not hide behind Enlightenment Ideology. They are perfectly happy to embrace governing theory born out of a decaying feudal system and frightened aristocracy. They will always embrace the Elitist worldview which relegates you to a permanent class of servile know nothings. In their minds you’re too stupid anyway so why waste time explaining themselves to you? You might learn something and become far less useful.
However the Establishment Republicans, the RINO’s or Republicans in Name Only, do hide behind a philosophy which most of us believe in and I live by.
Yet, We continue to stand by and do nothing.
I have two suggestions:
1. Start drinking.
2. Start paying attention and learning everything you can about everything I just typed then call these insidious clowns to the carpet.
If you think I’m wrong… prove it.
I’ll wait right here.

Frankly it’s the only tool we have to cast out the Demons of Socialist Thought from the Republican Party.
There can no longer be any denial… it’s not that some of the Republicans are “weak”, it’s that they agree with the Progressive Liberals. They only pretend to oppose the Left and then only when it’s politically harmless.
You must also understand that Leftists like Harry Reid, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and John McCain Mean It when they call you Terrorists. They mean it because anything that stands against Socialism stands against the America they envision as “better” and “fair”. They long for an America where they are called upon to remain in control… of everything and everybody… forever.
Why? Because you are too stupid to make decisions for yourself. You are too stupid to handle the Freedom and Liberty the Founding Fathers intended you to have. You are too stupid to make the decisions Harry, Barry, Nancy and John think you should be making.
You are… Just… Too… Stupid.
A Truly “Historic Compromise” has been made today. Our Leaders have decided to fully commit to our free fall into the Fiscal Abyss… because “it’s the right thing to do”.
Brilliant!
I would say I’m disappointed… but that simply doesn’t describe what I’m experiencing.
I would say I’m angry… but that doesn’t really describe what I’m feeling.
I suppose I would have to say I’m motivated… because the level of passion I have for the removal of individuals like Lindsey Graham from office is palpable.
Don’t fool yourself, this is a Huge Victory for the Left. And I don’t blame the Democrats… at least they’re somewhat honest about the Communal Paradise they wish to impose.
I Blame McCain, King, McConnell and the tribe that follows them. They are nothing more than Leftist Progressive Socialists who believe if they tell you they love the Country, Constitution and are genuine Republicans loud enough and long enough you will believe them. So far, they’ve been right. You have.
But unlike these people, I do not believe you are too stupid. I think you just don’t pay attention because you either have other things you believe are more important, or you don’t think it matters anyway. Well, we’re all about to pay for that inattentiveness. It’s headed for us like a freight train… and you will have nobody to point a finger at but yourself.
Now is the time to Makeaneffort and run people against these imposters. Nothing could be more important.
There is no better way to get a point across than to publicly force them to spend their money defending their Leftist activities while risking their elected office. And that’s what Primaries are all about.
Repeat after me…
“Primaries, primaries, primaries!”

The United States is Bankrupt.
The U.S. Government continues to deny the fact they caused the problem in the first place… supposedly with the best of intentions.
The Federal Reserve is reduced to printing as much money as possible because they believe it is the only tactic which THEY can “save” the entire system.
The public is starting to understand that every time the Federal Reserve prints more money it immediately devalues everything they have saved.
The public is realizing that QE or Quantitative Easing which is this act of printing money that should otherwise not exist is nothing more than taxing all those responsible enough to have put away for their retirement, own their home, own their business etc.
The public is seeing clearly that this tactic is not working. (In fact, it has never worked anywhere in the world.)
There is no growth.
Unemployment is flat… and it’s only that “good” because the numbers a being played with.
The stock market is going up, but only because the rest of the world is terrified at what is going on in their countries so they are putting their money in the U.S. This will stop very soon, once the majority of wealth has been relocated. Then what?
The EPA is taking control of every industry in the United States through existing, and many new, onerous regulations.
Our President Fiddles While The Middle East, Korean Peninsula and Rome Burns…
So… these are the issues we are being told by the press to pay attention to? RIGHT NOW!
Gay Marriage.
Illegal Immigration.
Racial Discrimination.
Fairness.
Let me ask, does addressing any side on any of these issues solve our current race to fiscal oblivion?
No.
All that should matter to us, at least any of us who love the country as it was founded with Individual Liberty being paramount, are the Four Horsemen of the Fiscal Apocalypse.
1. Social Security
2. Medicare
3. Medicaid
4. And Now… Universal Healthcare
Yet we sit on our hands arguing about Social Issues. Social Issues which will mean nothing when the economy collapses… we suffer food shortages… energy rationing… riots.
The insult we must all confront is an ever-present resistance to spending reductions of any kind. This latest resistance to a mere 5% cut IN THE GROWTH RATE of spending bringing it down to 5% should have brought us all out into the streets. That it did not frightens me the most. But it empowers those in charge.
We are in trouble and those who find it acceptable are desperate to distract all of us from what is important.
If we don’t deal with the Four Horsemen there will be no country left to deal with any imagined social issues.
First things first.
Unless the collapse of the country’s economic system is desirable we are headed the wrong direction… fast. Cloward and Piven will tell you it is and everything is going perfectly.
This is the moment.
It’s happening right in front of you.
It will not become any clearer.
You’re being played…
Just ask the common folks who considered themselves “enlightened democratic socialists” in Europe.
Better stock up on your Port, Chianti and Champagne while you can.

Dear Mr. President,
We’re ready to help you fix your Sequester Budget plan.
And, since you have already received your desired tax increases of which all Americans are experiencing right now we would be willing to aid you in figuring out how to reduce spending in a better, and more balanced, way than your current proposal dictates.
If you have any ideas we will gladly listen to them because we recognize how poorly thought out your Sequester plan was. We also recognize, as we are sure you do, that our country is being crushed by a rapidly growing 16-Trillion Dollar Debt created by out-of-control spending. We know that both parties have participated in this Debt which is why we agree with you that both parties must take part in reducing it quickly before it destroys our Country along with the American Dream.
Considering the Urgency of addressing this Unprecedented Emergency we understand the Necessity of not delaying immediate action. Because if not Now, When? If not Us, Who?
Trust us, we recognize how difficult it can be dealing with those in your own party. You point this out to us regularly. That’s why we wanted to send you this open letter to publicly show our unified support. We hope it helps you rally your party members to embrace solutions during your time of need. Please beg your fellow Democrats for Bipartisanship, if for no other reason than the future of women, our children and minorities.
We are with you Mr. President!
All of us have cell phones and promise to answer. So call us may be.
Sincerely,
The Congressional Republicans
PS. Happy Valentines Day XOXO

And since I already subscribe to judging others by the content of their character let’s move to something else.
As I drifted off to sleep last night I was thinking about President Obama’s press conference…
With not a dry eye in the press corpse, it went something like this;
Surrounded by children the President began reading their letters…
“It’s supposedly a free country but I recommend there needs to be a limit on spending… Please don’t let politicians waste our money or other people’s money like they do.” Jack L.
The next letter continued with the same tone…
“I am writing to ask you to STOP wasting our money… I am very sad about the children who lost their futures. So, I thought I would write to you to STOP spending their money before they’ve even earned it. And STOP borrowing money just to spend it on stupid stuff.” Lisa W.
After a brief pause the President commented somberly, “These are some pretty smart letters from some pretty smart young people, so what we should be thinking about, is our responsibility to care for them, and shield them from harm, and give them the tools they need to grow up, and do everything that they’re capable of doing. Not just pursue their own dreams, but to help build this country. This is our first task as a society, keeping our children safe. This is how we will be judged. And their voices should compel us to change.”
Finally the President concluded with a letter from Julio…
Julio had written that he had 15 brothers and sisters and “I know I would not be able to bear the thought of supporting any of them. I know spending laws have to be passed by Congress, the House and the Senate, but I beg you to try very hard to make sure they have a free market economy where they can support themselves. Not just for me, but for the whole United States.” Julio signed the letter “my love and regrets.”
President Obama responded. “Julio, I will try very hard.”
The children then began running around yelling “Liar, Liar…” and something about the Presidents pants being on fire…
Then I woke up.

I just heard with my own ears an attempt at moral relativism that should shock and disgust every individual in the Untied States.
Chuck Todd, while asking the President why he was not using the 14th Amendment to unilaterally raise the Debt Ceiling, attempted to equate the irresponsible spending with the Emancipation Proclamation… “it had to be done when congress would not act…”.
So spending money we do not have is morally equivalent to individual freedom?
Do these Leftists have no shame?
Therefore… being responsible with our money while admitting that we have spent ourselves into oblivion and we must CUT spending in order to remain solvent is equal to, what? Slavery? Indentured Servitude?
I would argue that continuing to spend money that we do not have is enslaving everyone and those not yet born to those who are loaning us 40% of every dollar being spent.
Meanwhile back at the press conference:
“You do not go to dinner and eat all you want then leave without paying the check…” – Barack Obama 1/14/13
Well Mr. President… this is exactly what we have done.
It’s done. It is too late.
Now is the time to STOP EATING… so that we have some possibility of “paying the check…” as you stated.
Sophisticated Sophistry seems to pass for intelligent discourse.
And again:
“We can’t manage our affairs in such a way that we pay our bills?” – Barack Obama 1/14/13
No Mr. President, we cannot. Clearly. And what you are proposing does nothing to alter that fact.
Pathetic… Mr. President, you ask why we are having this discussion every three months? It’s because we are AT THE LIMIT or CEILING of any reasonable (frankly unreasonable) level of debt that could be paid back.
I hear the violin in the background… quick grab some wood to throw on this beautiful fire. Rome has never looked better.
Finally:
“The public has agreed with me.” – Barack Obama 1/14/13
May be they have.
(An aside… it’s the Debt Dummy. The Deficit is irrelevant.)
