In case you missed last night’s official kick off of the Political Primary Season in New Hampshire, Hillary took home a YUUUUGE victory.
Mrs. Clinton won her demographic soundly! Bernie has to be reeling today.

Within voters 65-years old and Older, who make over $200,000.00 a year or More…
Hillary won BIG, BIG, BIG!

So let me be the first, here at Makeaneffort, to congratulate the spry, non-establishment, candidate Mrs. Clinton on walking away with the muscular affirmation from her Peers.

Way to Go Mrs. Clinton! Keep up the good work!

The Enemy Within

For the handful of you that haven’t already realized the Republican Party has been compromised by the Liberal Left and their Fascist Ideology…

As a Parting Gift, John Boehner has just handed the Progressives unlimited spending.

This is on the heels of a mock election for the Speaker of the House which Boehner immediately canceled when it became clear the Leftist Establishment was not going to get the outcome they wanted.

Now the Banana Republicans have achieved their goal by anointing Paul Ryan as the Next Speaker for the House of Representatives.

If it isn’t clear by now…

You’ve been used.  You’re still being used.

From the faux opposition to Obama Care, a poorly disguised pathway to Single Payer Socialized Medicine, which allows for total control over everything you do. and will do, to takeover of the banks by the very Leftists who caused them to fail in the first place… from where, and when, you’ll be allowed to travel, to what kind of wage you’ll be allowed to earn… from what you eat and read, to what activities you’ll be permitted to participate in.  All of these things will be decided for you by Socialists with ‘the best of intentions’. In fact, it’s already started in school lunch programs and mandatory insurance policies.

The Democrats and their RINO counterparts will tell you “It’s about your happiness, health and well-being after all.”  No allowing of your Individual Freedom.  Certainly no allowing your right to choose.

The fact all the above serves to solidify the permanent power of those Leftists on both sides of the aisle, and their progeny, is to be ignored by you.

When the message is,

‘Do not understand ‘why’ America is exceptional.  Do not demand Political Ideology and Governing Theory be clearly espoused, and more importantly demonstrated, by ‘your guy’.  Do not Require your Government return to the Constitution’s Original Intent and Expressed Limitations.’

When you’re being told,

‘It’s too Late.  Nothing Can be done about it.  Government will always be corrupt so you might as well get yours.’

It has begun.

What should you be feeling?

Bitter… Betrayed… Angry… Scared… Frustrated… Motivated…

Make no mistake, there is a war going on right in front of you.

The Enemy is Within.

It’s time to pick a side within the Republican Party.  It’s time to Defeat the Cancer that has led this country into Fiscal Insolvency and Democratic Socialism.   It’s time to Think… forcefully.

You will have no friends.

Does The Private E-mail Server Now Make Sense?

We now know that The Clinton Foundation was accepting Hundreds of Millions in Donations from Foreign Powers while Hillary was Secretary of State.

Does it now make sense that Hillary would want the ability to communicate with said Foreign Powers without the fear of her communications becoming public… or for that matter, even becoming available to the U.S. State Department?

The latest defense being offered by the Hillary Camp is;

“There is no evidence any of this was tied to the Secretary of State.”

“…no evidence…”

Not “Hillary was not involved.”

Rather; “…no evidence…”

Well… She Wiped the Server…

Short of a Foreign Contributor coming forward with a complaint that their money didn’t buy them the influence they were promised…

And as long as She’s running… what Contributor would walk away from their investment?

The possibility remains she could be elected President.

But…

If she drops out… or loses… I predict there will be plenty of evidence.

However, there will be no one in the Media who will care.

Young People Don’t Trust the Government!

Well it’s about D*mn Time..

Considering the Generations before them Trusted the Government and thus created the Rancid Pile of Poo Weasels along with the Statist Structure they Inhabit, I’m pleased to hear someone is coming to their senses.  I supposed the young folks might be taking a look at their inheritance and wondering what the rest of us were thinking.

This Government was not founded on the idea that all good things come from it.  In fact, this country was founded on the idea that limited Government is what would allow the individual to excel, and keeping the Government out-of-the-way, if not out-of-the-way at least close to home, was the key to a successful nation.

We are Never supposed to Trust Government.

We are supposed to recognize that the functions of Government are conducted by exactly the types of people the We Are.  Narcissistic, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered and Deeply Flawed.  The truth is Government actually ATTRACTS those types of people.  So what we try to deny to ourselves is Government over delivers when it comes to those you wish were not running things.  The Founders recognized, based on history, that the only way to address this problem was to Drastically Limit what it was The Government would be allowed to Run… by means of a Constitution.

The product of their deep mistrust of those elected to represent others was Checks and Balances.

So sure were the Founders that the biggest Thug in the Room would quickly take over through ‘legal’ means, they created a check on each of the three separate branches.

This was to Slow Things Down… if not stop things from happening altogether. 

Some of you Statists have intentionally changed the terminology to “Not Get Things Done…”, which if you mean not Race Forward to the Full Socialization of the United States then I’m good with that definition too.  The wisdom was that it is better the Government Do Nothing than Do Something Bad in terms of infringing on our Liberty.  I continue to Strongly Agree.

In the End,  we are NEVER to Trust Government.  Never, Never, Never!  We were Never, Never, Never, supposed to!

We are to hold all of those we elect to represent us with suspicion… particularly the ones we voted for.  American Exceptionalism Demands it.

We’re not exceptional because of what we do… we’re exceptional because of how we were founded and what that Protection of Freedom and Liberty of the Individual allows us to do.

That’s why we still have the longest waiting lines to come here legally.

However, we’re a mess, and…

Trust in Government is what landed us here.

It’s time for all of us to grow up and return to shouldering the responsibility our Founding Fathers expected us to carry.

If you want to Trust Government for some reason then Trust that They will do what benefits their power and wealth… Or at the very least suspect it.

Sound Cynical?  Well it is… look up the Cynics and understand what that means.  Cynicism is the Watchdog of Freedom.

It is our job to keep a close eye on these flawed humans, because no one else will and they have demonstrated for decades what they do when you aren’t looking.

May be the Children are our future after all.  Let’s hope they Nurture that Mistrust.

And, let’s hope the rest of us learn to recognize mistrust is… Good.

You Don’t Like What’s Going on? Blame Bush!

It’s George Bush’s fault that our Government is Spying on us.

However, What I think the Useful Idiots fail to understand… We don’t Care Who is at fault.

If you want to Blame George Bush, then go ahead.

If you understand what is going on… then you know the seeds for this were planted under the First Bush, Blossomed under Clinton, made “Legitimate” under George Bush then has Produced the fruit of Tyranny under President Obama.

So sure… Blame Bush.

… and the other Bush, and Clinton and… as much indigestion as it may cause you… Obama.

The One… the smartest man to ever occupy the White House. The Champion of Individual Liberty and Freedom… the Paragon of Virtue, of Equality and Social Justice.

The Contradictions, The Hypocrisy, The Truth… must be painful.

Confronting the reality of being so wrong, for so long, must taste bitter indeed.

If you look at politics like you root for your favorite football team… if you think none of this stuff affects you… if you have fooled yourself for years thinking your vote doesn’t count… if you’re in the camp of “it doesn’t matter anyway”…

Then…

Blame the Mirror!

(The problem is we are well past “I told you so.”, now you have to do something about it.  Put the booze down, or at least get a flask.)

I Would Like to be Suspended with Pay.

While I have seen it done, as demonstrated by Lois Lerner over at the IRS…
I can’t figure out how to have it done to me.

It seems like the best of all worlds. If you don’t think so, let’s go over it.

1. Be asked by my Employer to Stop working.
2. Get paid.

If any of you have some suggestions I will gladly accept them.

(I will beat a couple of you to the punch. Unemployment, while technically fitting the above requirements, does not count.  That would require my employer to FIRE me.)

“I Don’t Think Targeting is Wrong”

Acting IRS Commissioner Mr. Stephen Miller (Could actually be Eugene Levy,  Geoffrey Rush or their offspring, I’m awaiting verification on this.) , during this mornings hearing regarding the IRS targeting Conservative Groups stated unequivocally that he did not believe targeting was wrong.
Much is being made that this man was a Bush appointee.
Folks… this man is exhibiting the Cultural Mindset which resides within the Government as we know it. It doesn’t matter who appointed him. I don’t care if George Washington himself personally indorsed Mr. Miller. He is an example, just an example, of what is wrong with the IRS.  I’ll leave alone the fact the George Bush, pick one, was not a rock ribbed Constitutional Conservative.
Bear in mind, Mr. Miller is just one of the players in this scandal and he wasn’t in charge during the peak of these targeted investigations of groups based on politics as determined by those in the IRS.
There are many more people involved here. Many, many more.

It is also amazing, and worth paying attention to, how much the IRS and apparently this White House depends on the news media for being alerted to issues which they are a part of. Frankly, it should cause every American to shake their head and wonder if anyone works in Washington D.C., and if so do any of them possess cell phones. The lack of communication and reliance on outside third parties to inform them what is happening within their own departments is astounding.

Please… please pay attention to this. This is Bloated, Over-reaching, Unaccountable and Oppressive Bureaucracy on display.

This attitude permeates all agencies within our Government.

This is not just about the IRS.
