We’re Forced to Pay You to Show Up to Work…

An Open Letter to The United States Democrat Socialist Party:

Dear Freedom Opposition,
While I personally understand your desire to not come to work in the Senate. I must point out the American Public are Forced to pay you. I realize you’re seeing decades of Socialism being rolled back and do not want your fingerprints on it as it may alienate you from your useful Socialist/Communist/Fascist base, but showing up is half the job. The American people who are held hostage by Government in terms of having to provide you a ‘Living Wage’ will simply not understand why you continue to fail to appear and throw your temper tantrums, long-winded speeches resembling meaningless word salads, caterwauling from under a pink pussy hats and, of course, feigned tears as your Socialist Utopia is being dismantled.  WE PAY FOR THE SHOW.
Personally, I, as an American Citizen, would be willing to pay you through the end of your term if you would agree to simply stop showing up… Ever. But I suspect you would not be able to honor your part of the bargain.
If it comes to light that you have seen the error of your ways and are failing to appear at work because you’re attempting to control your Campus Brown Shirts, then I will gladly stand in your support. But I also expect you are not focusing your energy on protecting the First Amendment and preserving free speech.  (As a reminder that is speech you do not like.)  In fact, I suspect the exact opposite.
In the end, shooting yourself in the foot is something I will gladly allow you to do. However you might serve yourself well to do it at work lest your Socialist/Communist/Fascist base may begin to wonder why they too are forced to pay you.

PS.  Dear Senator Grassley, You mentioned this morning that your constituency asks you at every opportunity to “Get Along” with each other in Washington.  That alone makes me question the value of Public Education in the Great State of Iowa.  It is not the job of Patriotic Politicians to “Get Along” with Anti-Freedom Socialists in our Government.  It IS their job to Forward the American Dream of Individual Liberty and Freedom the Founders intended to foster when crafting this country.  It IS their job to create a Template for the rest of the World to Emulate… Duplicate… Copy, not the other way around.  The promotion of these Enlightened Ideas require Showing Up to Work (1/2 of the job), while understanding what the work is (the other 1/2 of the job).  This is why the Socialists no longer want to be there.  It would be worth your understanding this.

Praying for Pragmatism

In every post-election interview the Leftists have been groping for Pragmatism.
They are Praying that Donald Trump is not an Ideologue, like President Obama, and will compromise with them on all policy decisions… until they can regain some power in the house, senate or both, two years from now.

You can smell the fear.

The Fear is not that Trump is coming for your children, gay, straight, hispanic, latino, black, asian, Irish, even the French etc.

The Fear is that Trump might actually put in place solutions regarding Immigration.

That’s it.

Just Immigration.

The Socialists in our country are afraid that he will indeed build a wall, fence, moat… whatever… and then move to the really scary part. They Fear he will create a work visa program which makes it easy, and legal, for our neighbors to the North and South of us to come here and work if they choose to. The Democrats realize that once legitimized in such a fashion these workers would no longer be paying Social Security under stolen Social Security Numbers… they would no longer be in the shadows… and most importantly, They would no longer be able to offer up the ridiculous argument that They should have the right to vote. And, if they do desire to become a citizen of the United States the debate now moves on to our actual immigration policies… That We Already Have… and don’t enforce. No more “They’re going to deport my Grandma!” Hogwash.

Whoa!

Adding insult to injury it would now fall upon the left to remove this work privilege from our neighbors if they ever want to save the Socialist Voting base for generations to come.

I dream of a number of things, but foremost is I dream of a wonderful explosion in private charities making available such things as education to ‘ex-pat Canadians and Mexicans’ who reside here for work. (If Mark Zuckerburg wants to fill Facebook full of brilliant Mexicans and Canadians… awesome!)  I dream of an explosion of hard-working, genuinely terrific, people coming here from Mexico and Canada to make some money and help support their families abroad. I dream the United States will not only benefit from this new influx of workers, but those workers will benefit from enjoying the bounty provided by American Exceptionalism and begin wondering why their respective home countries don’t embrace Free Market Capitalism as Governing Theory.

However…

I predict that the Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, will become Mr. Filibuster in the Senate… because the Liberal Leftists cannot afford for any of this to happen.

I also predict the Democrat Party will be the party of “No!” to all things.

It is going to be an interesting 4-years… possibly 8.

The Minimum Wage Effects Everybody

Artificially setting wages causes everything, up and down the supply chain, to get more expensive.  Way more expensive…

It causes the Buying Power of those it’s intended to help to go down. The “New” money they have never keeps up with the rise in prices of what they need to survive.

It causes the Employment Options for those it’s intended to help to disappear. The lack of a job has never helped anyone to provide for their family.

Raising the Minimum Wage puts even More Money in the Pockets of Big Labor Unions… and by Extension Socialist Democrats, who then cry for yet More and Bigger Government.

There is nothing good that comes from manipulating markets, regardless of what your economically challenged Liberal Progressive friends tell you.

Raising, Having, even Suggesting Minimum Wage Controls creates distortions in markets and ultimately hurts those who most need help.

If you think you support the idea you should think a little more and a little harder.

Stop this War on Women, Children and the Poor!

Stop this War on the Entire Nation.

Raising the Minimum Wage doesn’t help anyone.

It affects us all.

The BATFE sending Weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels in an effort to create a Case for more Domestic Gun Control?

The Skyrocketing Debt and the Fiscal Malfeasance it Represents?

The fact that Keynesian Economics has Not Lead to the Economic Recovery the Leftists in our Government Promised it Would?

The Destruction of the Greatest Health Care System in the World because Progressives want Control over the 6th of the Economy the didn’t have before?

The Utter Betrayal by our Elected Representatives to Look Out for the People by taking the time to actually Read Legislation before voting for it?

The TSA wanting to Establish Itself as a Federally Sanctioned Domestic Police Force by Arming it’s Agents?

The Federal Government wanting to Secure the ability to decide Who is and Who isn’t a “Journalist” in order to control the only Private Entity with the Resources Capable of Maintaining a Cynical Eye on Their Behavior?

Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer is Honest if Nothing Else

While Senator McCain is, well, a Senator… I understand Schumer’s lament.  He already has McCain in the Senate, the only obstacles for Democrat Socialists appear to be in the McCainless House of Representatives.  If they could only have that cloning program up and running…
