California is making a Mad Dash to Insolvency… This new push to keep LA County closed for business is nothing short of the prelude to a Demanded Bailout from the Federal Government (Read YOU and ME).

Governor Newsome (CA-D) and Mayor Garcetti (CA-D) see COVID-19 as their opportunity to demand a bailout from the American Taxpayers for almost 100-years of failed Socialist policies and Profoundly Wasteful Spending by a Corrupted State.  California is Everything that is Wrong with Democratic Socialism.

This move to completely destroy LA County is not about safety, it’s about driving the plane into the ground as fast and as hard as possible.  This closure extension is nothing more than a cynically opportunistic political ploy designed to remove any obstruction to a Massive Federal Bailout of what can only be considered Criminally Fiscal Behavior, approved then ignored by an Elitist Voting Base.  The ‘I’m Smarter than you Kids’ have dug a hole they can’t get out of… as we have been warning them they were doing.

Folks… we are being played for chumps.

So here we are… are we going to allow that to happen?

The Homeless have been Found!

Get Ready Folks, I have it on good authority that after a roughly 8-year absence the homeless have finally been found!

Just in time for the Mid-Terms, and filling that need for an issue to balkanize the voter base, The Homeless have been located in Los Angeles.  Who Knew?  (well… everyone… for three decades… which is why it’s a tired, clichéd, leftist election cycle play employed whenever they are out of power… but whatever.)

I’ve been informed there will be a fresh set of lawsuits filed in California with the purpose of demanding state authority to Force homeless people into state-run facilities.  We used to call these sanitariums, but I’m confident there will be a new euphemism crafted…  maybe something Japanese like “Happy Lucky You Homes!”

I would like to think that California’s Leftists are genuinely concerned about the homeless epidemic and are seeking solutions, but I’m too old and too jaded to believe it to be true.  I suspect, based on well honed cynicism, the issue will simply be used to freshen the Homeless epidemic in California as ‘new’ and somehow the responsibility of the Republican led Federal Government… not California Leftists.  Additionally, I suspect that trying to make this a Federal Issue is about siphoning Federal Taxpayer Dollars into California’s coffers to prop up decades of terrible Socialist Policy initiatives.  (Always remember, Socialists are not about actually solving problems.  Within the Socialist Governing Paradigm problems are to be used to secure money from Taxpayers and keep The Useful angry.)

It’s going to be an interesting year.

School says it’s purely a financial decision – trial ain’t cheap

Scientific research at universities is supposed to involve inquiry into established theories and hypotheses.

That is, unless they question environmental regulations.

One UCLA science researcher, a 34-year veteran of the school, found himself out of a job in 2011 after examining the data underlying diesel regulations proposed by a California regulator and exposing the shoddy credentials of a lead author of that regulator’s report.

James Enstrom secured victory in a two-and-a-half year legal battle against UCLA last week when the school agreed to settle the case.

The school is paying the “diesel particulate matter” expert $140,000, reinstating his title as “Retired Researcher,” and restoring his access to UCLA resources, “effectively” rescinding his termination, according to the American Center for Law & Justice, which represented Enstrom.

Enstrom had challenged the validity of a California Air Resources Board study on diesel particulate matter and mortality in the state and the regulations that followed. He denounced the research as a faulty reading of data.

UCLA retaliated against Enstrom after he “became an aggressive and lone critic at UCLA of air pollution research,” escalating in 2008 after he testified in California Senate hearings, according to a lawsuit filed by the center in 2012.

It accused the school of initiating “a series of actions designed to silence and ultimately terminate Dr. Enstrom.”

Enstrom exposed fraudulent behavior in the studies on which the board relied, including that of the lead author of a 2008 report. Hien Tran “admitted he purchased” a magna cum laude Ph.D. for $1,000 from a “diploma mill associated with a fugitive pedophile,” according to CalWatchdog.

It’s “the standard MO” of the regulatory board to use “unverified studies to gin up regulations” in the state, according to Lois Henry, a Bakersfield Californian columnist who covers California politics, in a column last month.

After blowing the whistle, Enstrom found his position’s funding cut, as detailed in a 2010 letter from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education to then-Chancellor Gene Block.

“Every day that the case continues is a deeper violation of academic freedom and freedom of speech and a more thorough chilling of faculty speech at UCLA,” FIRE said. The availability of an appeals and grievance process “does not absolve you or UCLA of the moral and legal responsibility to immediately reverse the decision not to rehire Enstrom.”

An April 2011 letter from the Academic Freedom Committee of the Academic Senate also sided with Enstrom, calling the school’s failure to reappoint him “a violation of academic freedom.”

In an email to The College Fix, Enstrom pointed to the importance of the Secret Science Reform Act, currently under consideration in Congress, which would require public disclosure of “materials, data and associated protocols” as well as “computer codes and models,” so that results can be understood and research replicated.

Speaking about the settlement, UCLA told The Daily Bruin that it did not target Enstrom for his political beliefs.

It said that “Enstrom’s presence as a researcher for decades, despite his minority positions defending diesel emissions and tobacco, demonstrates” that UCLA promotes academic diversity.

A spokesman told The Fix that UCLA settled the case because it would cost “far less than the legal costs of a trial.” Enstrom’s settlement includes “some other incidental campus services, such as eligibility for parking and email, associated with his retiree status.”

International Redistribution

What’s the Question?

Socialists don’t just support, and force, redistribution from one individual to another… they support, and force, the redistribution of our income from our country to others.

It’s happening right in front of us.

The crisis on the border and the flood of illegal aliens into the United States unobstructed by our Federal Government is by design. If President Obama cannot directly send money (which we do not have) to the countries of his choice he will bring the citizens of those countries here to hook them up on our social welfare programs.

The new Democrat voting base and Union Dues which find their way into Voting Boothes and into Democrat Campaign Coffers are just added value.

This is not complicated.

While denying that this is the intent, the administration continues to do it right in front of us. The Obama Administration and the Democrat party has adopted the FU strategy when it comes to governing. In other words, ‘We’re not doing what you think we’re doing… and even if we are, FU!’  It is Machiavellian in the purest form.

The Progressives are destroying this country.

This is not hyperbole. Again… it’s happening right in front of you. The Socialist Left see that their time may be short and have accelerated their push to tear down as much of what’s left of this country as founded as they can. They know full well that the public is catching on to what they’ve been doing for the last 7 decades. Obama has simply moved faster with the ‘fundamental transformation of America’ than any President in recent memory thus mandating the need to ‘grab as much as you can’ before his party is kicked out of power.

If you’re reading this shaking your head and thinking I’m overstating the drive behind the current President and his Party…

Then ask yourself;

Do you really think they would be risking their own fortunes and lives by promoting, facilitating and embracing the Flood of Illegals into the US along with the diseases and crime commiserate to such unchecked migration?

Do you think the people who have anointed themselves smarter than you in every way have forgotten why Ellis Island existed in the first place?

Do you actually believe these geniuses view the creation a brand new entitlement class will improve the economic health of the United States?

But the question that encapsulates all of this is… Do you really think they would be doing any of this if it wasn’t Ideologically Driven?

No. Of course Not.

But that’s the evil that drives them. Their Socialist Ideology and their innate desire to turn the United States into a purely Socialist state, by whatever name they want to call it, is what’s in play.

Wake Up. Secure the Borders. If that means a fence to at least slow them down then so be it.

It’s time to Stand Up and Demand Action!

There are a couple of things we could make our politicians and representatives do in light of this.

1.  Declare Liberalism, and all of its faces and names, to be considered Criminal Insanity, then actively pursue the confiscation of anything which could be used as a weapon from those Progressives that own them.  The list should not be limited to Guns and Explosives… it should include knives, hammers, bats, sticks, machete’s, rocks, scissors, paperclips, garden tools, BMW’s, drawings of guns, pop tarts shaped to look like guns, the letters “G”, “U”, “N” and anything else they could harm themselves, or others, with.  Give the LAPD jurisdiction to confiscate these items statewide… or just shoot everyone they meet.

2.  Declare California a “No Travel” zone until California officials make substantive move to curb Liberal Violence.  The State Department could have this up and running right now if they took the threat seriously.  (There is doubt out here that they do, in fact, take the threat to our Children’s lives seriously.)

California Politicians

…Need to have a warning label placed on their Foreheads.

California Politicians have been on the Cutting Edge (Warning: Sharp instruments can be Hazardous to your Health.) of Protecting us from Ourselves by the Liberal Application of Warning Labels.  The Elitists recognize that if it wasn’t for them all the rest of us would have inadvertently killed ourselves long ago.

Their latest proposal is that all beverages containing levels of Sugar they don’t like have a Warning Label placed on the front of the drink declaring that Sugar is harmful and can lead to various maladies. The verbiage is as follows…  “STATE OF CALIFORNIA SAFETY WARNING:  Drinking Beverages with added sugar(s) contributes to obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay.”  (Bold and italics are mine.)

Okay, let’s take it at face value that the Politicians involved are genuinely concerned about the health of their constituency and not looking for larger donations from companies that produce beverages with “added sugar(s)” or own interest in a Warning Label company.

This deep feeling of responsibility for others being exhibited by California Politicians should then, logically, extend to a well-known and widely recognized Health Hazard.  California Politicians.

I, personally, am Deeply concerned.  Very deeply.  Something must be done.  We can’t just stand by and do nothing… There needs to be a Law.

I propose California Politicians, at every level, be required by Law to wear a plainly visible Unisex Headband, 24-hours a day, with the following warning…

“STATE OF CALIFORNIA SAFETY WARNING:  Interacting or Close Proximity to California Politicians contributes to bankruptcy, groping, and tooth decay.  If you can read this, you are too close.”

Problem solved.

And, That would be a Warning Label Law I could support spreading to every State in the Nation.

Actually… getting hammered might be the best way to deal with what you’re in for.

The Left has no victory… no achievement… no success they can point to as justification for you voting for them. And to keep up the façade of everything not just being “okay” but “Improving” they need more money. In fact, it seems that Major News Outlets are the only one’s climbing on the “everything is okay” bandwagon offered up by the Obama Administration.

With Detroit bankrupt and more to follow including the entire state of California, the majority of us Hating Socialized Medicine, Work Hours being Cut, Salaries dropping, Unemployment Rising and the Dollar being Devalued the Progressive Liberals will have to go after Someone.

Enter the Banks.

As if it hasn’t been bad enough for our lenders being forced by our elected officials (Hello Barney Frank and Chris Dodd) to give people money they could never pay back, they are about to get a hefty second dose of a pointed finger accompanied by a shrill scream of how Evil they are. This is the only page left in the “gin up the base” play book.

So batten the hatches and get ready for the storm. Get ready to hear about all the “favors” granted to the banks by a benevolent Government. Get ready to hear a constant whine of how unfair the banks have been to those segments of society who always seem to get treated unfairly. Get ready for the barrage of example where the banks have not yet paid their dues for the malfeasance during the housing bubble and subsequent collapse…

Even though it was Representative Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd who designed to scenario for it occur, then forced it to happen.

Why again are these two not in jail?

You’ve got PTSD.

The current discussions regarding the shooting death of SEAL Sniper Chris Kyle have not strayed from the subject of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD.

From some background, War has always been an extremely ugly, difficult and often horrendous experience for soldiers since the dawn of time. This experience has tended to change an individuals mindset which can present in many ways ranging from nightmares to overt paranoia. Many of the individuals having such problems have historically chosen to “self-medicate” though the use of whatever was available, often alcohol. After Vietnam we as a nation became determined to help these people with this problem.

But now there is a push to get as many Veterans as possible onto the roles of those suffering from PTSD. Part of this is good intentions and a genuine desire to help… part is that the programs are funded by the number of individuals utilizing the services… and part seems to be something else which is becoming evident during this latest Gun Control debate.

We are once again in the middle of a debate on gun control here in the United States. Why the debate exists is because we were founded with the intent the government was not to be trusted. That’s what the Second Amendment is about… not Skeet Shooting. But there are people out there who simply cannot imagine the government ever doing anything bad to its citizens. (I will allow the fact that the government has already spent us into oblivion to slip by…)
So this refreshed debate is now becoming a discussion regarding “Universal Background” checks. These background checks are offered as necessary because… well, I’m not sure why as they would not have kept the weapons out of the hands of the latest shooters. But an integral part of these “new and improved” background checks would be the addition of medical records of psychologically impaired individuals with the idea that they should not own guns.

It is no secret that veterans are included on the list of individuals DHS profiles as possible homegrown terrorists.
Stay with me…
So how better to disarm those who would be most effective in resisting tyrannical government than to start with preventing our veterans from arming themselves legally.  Once PTSD is included in the class of psychologically impaired and would throw a flag during a “Universal” Background check they will be made criminals if they choose to arm themselves.

It will not be difficult for the U.S. to enter these folks into the database as the services they take advantage of are administered by the Veterans Administration (VA).  They are already on a list.

Let’s understand something… there are millions of people out there with “PTSD”.  There always will be, as bad things happen to people… and always will.  But just because someone was raped, in a bad car crash, mugged, lost a child or was in battle should not prevent them from owning a firearm.  In several of the above examples owning a firearm might actually aid in recovery.  But the focus on PTSD, to the exclusion of other possible motives in the Chris Kyle shooting has me concerned.  But this is not a new concern… I have watched with interest the evolution of these renewed calls for citizen disarmament.  It seems to me that there is a strange urgency to make sure everyone is “on the record” as having some kind of disorder.

Could it be possible that the final motivation of increasing the roles of those diagnosed with PTSD is to ultimately limit the ability of our returning warriors to possess firearms?  And if they do, make sure there are accurate records as to their whereabouts and what weapons they have if any?  Could it be just another piece of the puzzle?  Little by little our rights are erased with what appears to be reasoned arguments made with the stated goal of “saving the life of a single child” when it is actually about dismantling those parts of the U.S. Constitution that limit Government and prevent those “with only the best of intentions” to do TO us what they feel “best”?

The power to resist is a mighty deterrent to those who know their ideas are unpopular.  History is replete with examples.

I have to confess… I don’t like any of this.

In the end, We lost good men in Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield.  We lose many good people every day.  We must make sure our sorrow does not prevent us from recognizing what preserves our Freedoms… and what does not, and will not.

The ones we haven’t lost are some of the finest citizens this country has.  Don’t allow our Veterans to be marginalized by those who never appreciated them in the first place.
