And Now a Word from our Drunken Editorialist…

Sometimes wisdom comes from the strangest people.

Chris Mathews, MSNBC’s Johnny Walker Black Swigging Bag Lady, said something in an interview that struck me as relevant. (For full disclosure I grew up watching Chris Mathews and even knew of him in his Tip O’Neill days. When I call the Irish Carnival Barker an Old Drunken Bag Lady resembling your mothers forgotten leather purse, I mean it in the nicest possible way. In deference to Kevin Bacon, there is a single degree of separation between us… But I digress.)

Here’s Matthews statement regarding the motive behind the Marathon Bombing:

MATTHEWS: Why is that important? Why is that important to — is that important to prosecuting? I mean, what difference does it make why they did it if they did it? I’m being tough here. But I don’t know whether, when you look at all this evidence —

While some may draw a connection between Hillary’s now famous dismay regarding anyone having an interest in why our Ambassador and his security team were assassinated in Benghazi, Matthews was not trying to deflect responsibility. He had nothing to do with the two Islamo-Fascist Terrorists who blew up the Boston Marathon.  (As far as we know…)

Instead Matthews is stepping directly into a debate he would rather avoid if he were ever sober enough to realize it.  No worries…

Matthews “…what difference does it make why they did it if they did it?” question is the basis for all “Hate Crimes” legislation found in the country.  Every bit of it.

I happen to agree with Chris… but I am also a drunk.  I just iron my clothes.

Chris, it makes NO difference in regard to the prosecution of this suspect.  (For those late to the game, there is a jurisdictional argument which an international connection would affect.  There is also the Obama Administration’s desire to perpetuate an idea that “International Terrorism” has not touched our shores since he has been President… which, of course, would require you to ignore Fort Hood, The Times Square Bombing attempt, The Boston Marathon Bombing and many more we don’t even know about.)

So yes Chris, your right!  Even a Broken Drunk tells the truth twice a day.

And, you would be right to say it doesn’t matter why one person kills another.  It doesn’t matter if they were killed because they were White, Black, Gay, Straight, Fat, Purple etc.

Yet… it does.

While Intellectual Consistency, otherwise known as “honesty”, would see Chris at the front of the parade to dismantle Hate Crimes Legislation, don’t hold your alcohol.

Intellectual Inconsistency is required to be a Liberal, Progressive, Socialist Democrat.  (This is a fact, not an insult.  Although…)

If it was not for “pragmatism”, as determined by any Liberal’s momentary definition of “fairness”, the entire Progressive Socialist Governing Theory would collapse.

In the end, understanding who these people are and how they think makes for entertaining, if not educational, news… that is, when you can keep from crying in your beer while watching it.

But They were Such Nice Boys!

According to the family members they were just such nice boys.

The family avers the boys did not bomb the Boston Marathon… they were set up.

Or, Even if they did Bomb the Marathon… it had nothing to do with Islam.

But I’m not so sure about that…

Note: Don’t act, think or feel as if this behavior is unique.  It takes little effort and a few minutes of watching the news to find American mothers, aunts and siblings who profess the same things when their little Johnny shoots the neighbor kid over drugs… money… clothes… a “mad-dog look” etc.  The only difference is an ideology propelling them do commit the act.  The feeling of entitlement to commit the act is the same.

Another Aside:  Wouldn’t it be interesting if law enforcement showed the same reaction to the gang violence plaguing our streets?  Exactly how much force must be shown in order to kill or capture what is currently believed to be two (now one) assailant?  At any moment I expect to see footage of a F-22 fly over… bizarre… (Don’t misunderstand, I’m well aware of the seriousness associated with a renegade bomber.  I’m just not sure why there are so many up-armored Humvee’s speeding every which way, and parked at every intersection.  It’s almost like they have them out because “by golly we got’em so we better use’m.”)  What exactly is the message to the terrorists?  If you blow anything up, by God we will bankrupt that surrounding area with unnecessary overtime… Does anyone in the media dare to bring this up?

Since we’re Jumping to Conclusons regarding the Boston Marathon…

I think I’ll join in…

Obesity Rights group bombs Boston Marathon.

The Obesity Rights Congress of America, a terrorist organization affiliated with Fatah Allah Tamil Tribes of Yemen, today claimed responsibility for the bombing of the Boston Marathon.

In an unsourced internet post an anonymous spokesperson said: “How many more Runners must die before the world realizes we should get special rights too?!  I’d say more but I have to go to lunch.”

Now back to Shepard Smith vamping out loud about every conceivable scenario imaginable…  where is Richard Jewel when we need someone to blame?  Oh, right… he’s dead.  What about timothy…. too skinny, and also dead.  I guess I have to leave the conjecture to Shep.
