Just Say No…

…To Socialism.

If you’ve been with me for longer than 10 minutes, then you already realize I’m what you would call an Anti-Socialist.

While I have vast and varied views, first and foremost I stand in opposition to all forms of Socialist thought. You can call it whatever you want; Socialism, Liberalism, Leftist, Progressive, Fascist, Communist, Democrat, No Labels, Crony Capitalist, RINO, John McCain… or whatever new names they come up with to keep you confused.

Why do I oppose Socialism?  Why do I oppose a political theory that promotes Elitists exercising force over all those they deem inferior?  Why do I oppose an Ideology that has resulted in the greatest destruction to the common good, and ultimately the loss of life, in the history of the world?

I am a Free-Market Capitalist.

But what apparently sets me apart is I know what that means, which is more than I can said for the majority of our elected officials… and certainly more than our electorate.

I will share with you, the people being demonized by the press are the people you must listen to carefully. (Actually listen to them… not whatever sound bite John Stewart or Bill Mahr decide to let you hear, followed by a studio audience of the above mentioned know nothings yucking it up and a laugh track from the fifties.)

The folks you will be told are Mean, Evil, Stupid and In the Way of your Happiness are the very individuals who, most likely, have the best interest of our amazing country at heart. And, they are the few deserving an honest, unedited, un-editorialized hearing of why they stand in opposition of more Socialism.

But let me get you started:

Socialism gets you Detroit.

Socialism gets you Mexico.

Socialism gets you Domestic Spying.

Socialism gets you incredibly horrible public schools.

Socialism gets you Unions who make promises to their members they know they can’t honor.

Socialism put’s your medical records out there for all to see.

Socialism gets you expensive, crappy health care.

Socialism gets you high taxes.

Socialism gets you high unemployment.

Socialism gets you Crony business deals.

Socialism gets a quadrupling of the money supply devaluing everything you’ve worked so hard to save.

Socialism spends your money with no consideration of reason or result, because it believes it owns the money… not you.

Socialism gets you National Debt so large you cannot possibly conceive it.  You literally can’t count that high… before you die of old age.

Socialism gets you racial hatred because without it, it dies.

Socialism gets you a bigger and bigger gap between the rich and poor, because it relies on that too.

Socialism puts self-anointed Elitist A-holes in power and keeps them there… forever.

Socialism is Force.

So the very least MY representatives can do IS NOT GET ALONG WITH SOCIALISTS.  AT ALL… EVER.

The very least MY representatives can do is say NO in the face of bigger government and more spending… or should I SAY WASTING MY MONEY.

The VERY LEAST my representatives can do IS STAND IN OPPOSITION to everything… every single thing… the Socialists want to do.

And, if they DO NOTHING ELSE… I will consider them to be doing a great job.

If they really want to impress me, then start taking apart 100 years of Socialist schemes which have not only stood in the way of this country being greater than it is, but has set it back on every level.  Doubt me?  Do you think the founding fathers would have asked the public to tolerate Domestic Spying after fighting a War in order to establish a new type of Government designed to protect the Individual, Their Freedom, Liberty and Property?  (There were plenty of “Terrorists” back then too.)

So I expect that 20% of the Republican Party who are about to be positioned as the worst people in the world… will do the right thing.

I expect them to be the Party of No!

NO!  NO!  NO!

It is the least they can do.  When I say “the least”, I mean the LEAST.

I Too do not like New York Values…

I understand defending New York, but seriously?

Socialism is rampant in New York City. Even those few New Yorker’s calling themselves “Republicans” are Liberal Leftists.

In regard to the Towers, They are My Liberal Leftists and killing them will always be met with the most Extreme, Angry, Flag Waving, Gun Clinging, Military Dispatching, Terrorist Killing, that I and every other Individual Freedom and Liberty Loving Citizen of this Country can muster.  So get over yourself.  You don’t own the outrage.

In other words, Mr. Trump, I understand you defending New York. But the fact that you could only toss out William F. Buckley followed by a very, very, weak ‘among others’ is illustrative.

You know Ted is right… even Buckley, if he were here to say it, would announce how correct Ted is. Ayn would do the same. So would Milton Freidman and Murray Rothbard, “among others”.  (All of whom I’ve been holding out hope you’ve read…)  When your prominent Anti-Socialist, Conservative and Individualist Leaders in Thought refer to the place they reside as “The Belly of The Beast” it is not meant as a compliment.  They were on the ground, so to speak, and recognized the poison that is collectivism and the danger it poses all Americans first hand… in their own city.

So, to be able to pull out not even a handful of Anti-Socialists from over 8.5 Million people… which swells to over 13 Million Monday-Friday… makes Ted’s point.

It’s tantamount to stating Austin, Texas or Boulder, Colorado are bastions of American Capitalism and Rugged Individualism.

Frankly, Ted knows he has so few friends in New York City as it not to matter if he is insulting.

So the Only take away I get from your exchange with him is you are yet another Elitist who see’s the United States as New York and Los Angeles… with a bunch of sh*t in between you have to fly over.

Something’s happening here…

When I’m feeling particularly self-loathing, in need of punishment for my sins and about 4 beers into a six-pack I visit some of my “favorite” Leftist bloggers.  There are a select few I can stand that have a certain clarity in writing style while remaining profoundly misguided.  These latest forays have caused me to notice a trend.

There is something happening that they don’t like.  There is an overt lament regarding the desire of regular people (you/sheep) to learn about Capitalism.  In fact, it borders on fear.  You can always detect a Statists concern by what and who they choose to ridicule.  Capitalism and those who promote it are their current targets.  I love it.

What this means to me is that Leftists are coming to see that their effort to ignore Capitalism in the hopes that you will too is failing.  The see clearly that you are going out and consuming all of the education that was denied to you throughout your years of public school.  You know who Adam Smith is… you understand what the Austrian School of Economics was and who Hayak and Von Mises are.  And… most importantly, if you don’t you’re trying to find out.

The movement to educate yourselves is a huge victory to free markets and the individual freedom and liberty they maintain.  Apparently you recognize how the future of our country depends on it.

What is particularly interesting is that judging by many of the comments on these Leftist sites, you guys are also reading Marx and Engels… even a little Mao… and you see who the current Leftist leaders are.  Your efforts are creating very difficult situations for our homegrown Socialists.  Their replies to your challenges are typically weak at best and their frustration is palpable.  They often resort, more or less, to calling you stupid… when it is clear you are not.

It seems to me that there is an anti-socialist movement afoot.  More folks know who Milton Friedman is than Antonio Gramsci.  More people are reading Locke than Plato.  You know Burke, Sowell, Rand and Rothbard.  You listen to conservative icons regularly.  You understand what the Enlightenment was.  You read the U.S. Constitution!  It’s beautiful… and appropriate since this country is the worlds only experiment in bottom up government.

So, to all of you… keep up the good work!  Go out and continue to educate yourself knowing that at the very least you will annoy a Liberal.  Keep questioning ridiculous statements by simply asking the closest leftist to explain themselves.  Then follow-up when what they say doesn’t make sense and watch them sputter in anger at the challenge.

The screaming will get louder with every book you read and every challenge you make.  You are going to be called the most foul and evil things imaginable.  You will be a racist, a homophobe, a misogynist, a murderer of the poor…  it has already started.  This is how you know they have nothing else.  Their regurgitated Socialist policies and their blatant attempt to destroy the U.S. Constitution demonstrate their failures… that’s without looking at  world history for myriad additional examples of the oppression, destruction and death these Elitists leave in their wake.

You are listening to their words… and watching their actions.

Make no mistake… they know this.  They see this.  And they are scared they will lose 75 years of “progress” because of it.

The battle lines have been drawn… and it’s your efforts as individuals that frighten them the most.  Bravo!

The Inexplicably Absent…

Tonight President Obama will hold his optional State of the Union Address to the Country.

He’s holding it on Lincoln’s Birthday in the hopes that President Lincoln’s greatness will be associated with him.

He will undoubtedly mention President Lincoln in a heavy-handed attempt at moral relativism.

In a way it’s sad that he must resort to such efforts.  But it is indicative of where we are as a Nation under his leadership.

While many of my fellow Anti-Socialists will be focused on what the President offers up for solutions to our continued high unemployment (even after playing with the numbers) and economic malaise, I will be thinking about those who are conspicuously absent with no explanation.

I will be wondering why Ambassador Stevens is not sitting in Michelle Obama’s box.

I will be curious where Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith are and exactly why.

I will be interested to see if the President calls out into the audience and thanks any of the other 10 Americans Injured in the Benghazi attack.  Will he ask to the public to forgive him for not having any apparent interest in the Benghazi Assassinations when they were happening… or shortly there after… or now?

I will look for Jaime Zapata and Brian Terry.  Will they be there?  Clearly they will not be.  So will the President take this opportunity to apologize, personally, to the families?  And… will he publicly apologize to the Citizens of Mexico for arming the very Cartels that terrorize their country and have kill thousands of their loved ones?  Is he man enough to admit that up-arming Mexican Drug Lords through his Operation Fast and Furious was a mistake?

I’ll listen carefully for assurances that the President will not continue to kill U.S. Citizens with Drones, combined with a firm statement that such power cannot be possessed by nameless, faceless individuals within our clandestine services let alone the Executive.  I look forward to hearing that oversight by a specific bi-partisan committee of our elected representatives will be immediately implemented.  (If you are one of these Republicans who don’t see this as dangerous… you don’t get it.  It’s not the Drone, it the immense power to unilaterally decide which Citizen lives and dies.)

And, as demonstrated during Fast and Furious as well as Benghazi… the President doesn’t seem to care.

I suppose caring might imply responsibility, and President Obama will certainly not accept any of that.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see…

I’ll have a bottle on Glenfiddich handy.
