I don’t know what else to say.
I’m simply Sad.
But when you offer only a distinction without a difference what do you expect?
We are no longer the shining city on the hill.
I’m keeping this short because I need to find my bottle of Bourbon.
The Individual is Lost.
Not even the Fed Chair can describe what Governing Theory we live under… The Federal Reserve Chair…
I just don’t know what to say.
So I will drink on it.
May be cry a little… for what’s in store.

The truth in 2008 was that as not-so-great as George W. Bush was, Europe and the rest of the world still had to look way, way up to see the tread on the bottoms of our work boots.
The rest of the world viewed the election of Obama in 2008 as their opportunity to help put a BIG speed bump in front of America, so their own flaccid, sclerotic, soft selves could (1) look better by comparison, and (2) catch up — wheezing and gasping — through our retreat.
So, Lesson #1: when the “international community” tells you they are rooting for one Presidential candidate or another, always remember they don’t root for him because they think that his election would serve your best interests, but theirs.

But… I thought Obama was going to make the US look so good overseas. Now the US is even less popular than it was under Bush.
